In 2015, James and Marissa Lowry hosted their wedding on the property. With over 400 guests and a beautiful ceremony under the Osage tree, an idea was brought to life. Duck Pond Manor was originally known as the England Mansion. The mansion’s building process began in 1861(according to family stories). The house was finally completed Dec 27, 1867. This 5000 sq ft mansion was built using bricks fired in a kiln right in the farm. The original Apple House still stands behind the mansion.
