Hunter Museum of American Art

The Grand Foyer Lobby is the museum's most utilized space. It boasts beautiful stone floors, 30 foot windows overlooking the Tennessee River, a private river view balcony, and jaw dropping sculptures to complete this modern yet elegant space. The Auditorium (separated by an airwall) can be added to the Lobby for seamless additional space.

The Auditorium, separated from the Grand Foyer Lobby by an airwall, is a great additional space. By opening the airwall, it's as if it were never even there, and you create a seamless space for a larger guest count.

The Paley Terrace is our smallest, yet most intimate space in the museum. Located on the second floor, just off the Temporary Exhibit Hallway, the space still boasts those jaw-dropping Tennessee River Views in a more private setting. This space is uncovered, so it is weather dependent.

Perched on the bluff face, our widely popular 24 Hour Terrace is not only a must-see-stop in Chattanooga, but also available for private rentals. Partially covered, this space is a great option for an outdoor event with a little leniency on the weather or the heat. The glass railings offer an unobstructed view of the iconic Walnut Street Bridge and the beautiful Tennessee River.

Newly renovated, our largest and most awe-inspiring space, the Riverview Terrace offers an open floorplan of 8000 square feet. This can truly be an all in one space, great for ceremony, cocktail hour, and receptions. This space comes completely uncovered, but clients are encouraged to rent a tent from Chattanooga Tent in case of inclement weather. This space also offers a wide view of the Tennessee River and the inclusion of the original Mansion portico for a touch of classical.
