My husband and I just adore the venue and the team that comes along with it! Communication is top notch here! We felt such a weight lifted off our shoulders working with such a fabulous group of people and our planner (Charlotte…: can’t recommend her enough to y’all!!! ). I had a wonderful micro wedding at Deity. The venue is beautiful, the food was incredible and most importantly the staff was a joy to work with. Planning a wedding is daunting, and they made it so easy. Aside from they cake, the photographer and the officiant, they took care of EVERYTHING making it a wonderful stress-free experience. Our wedding guests were so impressed and had a blast. I will definitely be recommending Deity to those in need of an event space in NYC.

My wife and I could not express enough how great our entire wedding experience was with Venue at the Grove. Here are a few down to earth notes to take away. The planning process was incredibly simple. With all the moving parts weddings encompass, the staff were very flexible and accommodating to what we wanted to make our day as special as it was. The setting for the ceremony and reception felt like we were in another world. Again, the planning for how we wanted our items set up were seamless with the staff's help. They made sure all the details we wanted were accommodated for. Lastly, but certainly very important and helpful was the cleanup for the end of the night. Staff were on point with making sure we had all our belongings and items needed prior to departing the venue. We had no worries with making sure everything was cleaned up and accounted for. Overall, our day was perfect and so happy we chose Venue at the Grove. Between the early consultations for planning, the beautiful setting, and logistics at the end of the night, I would recommend this venue to anyone searching for a location for their special day.

In 2021 my boyfriend and I attended a wedding at Olio and couldn't believe how perfect the space was. Being from the north shore, it was easy to get to which we loved. Once we got to the dinner portion of the wedding and had chicken parm (not your traditional wedding piece of chicken or steak) - we thought, this is the best wedding ever! When we got engaged in December 2023, the first, and only tour we had was at Olio. We assumed there would be no availability for 2024, but Sarah was able to secure us with the perfect date in June (just six months away). We knew we didn't want a traditional wedding, and loved the fact that Sarah supported our non-traditional, crazy ideas. When I took my grandmother to visit the space, she met Sarah and said "she's so nice and thoughtful, but you must have to be to work in this industry" I can confidently say after planning my wedding in 6 months that not all vendors are like Sarah and the team at Olio! They go ABOVE and BEYOND to help you create your perfect day. They are incredibly fast at responding, and always taking the time to reply with kindness which goes a long way. Sarah & team helped us craft the most perfect PARTY atmosphere for our 200 guests. We went with Premier as our caterer and loved being able to hire local Peabody establishments for food, shoutout to Champions Pub, Toscanas, and an INCREDIBLE grazing board by Edex Provisions (right outside of Olio!) Followed by epic late night snacks from McDonalds. Olio allowed us to create the wedding menu of our dreams :) I would absolutely recommend working with Sarah and the team at Olio. My friends and family are still raving about the space, the food, and how much fun the night was. Olio gives you the flexibility to create the day of your dreams, and the team is there to guide you along the way. Thank you, thank you, thank you to Olio & team!!

I have been dreaming about getting married at The Gallagher for years and am not exaggerating when I say that my wedding on 9.28 exceeded every single one of my expectations! Jenna and Jenna took every bit of stress off my plate and handled every last detail of making my day what I envisioned it would be. Jenna helped my bridesmaids peel protective stickers off 125 champagne glass tags for our seating chart and then handled the rest from there - and of course, it turned out perfect. The house on the property is huge and absolutely beautiful. It was the perfect place to have our rehearsal dinner, get ready in the morning with my girls, and party all night long at the fire pit and pool table inside. My parents were able to bring their RV and park on the lawn behind the house so that our babies could sleep near us without having to stay inside the house with the wedding party. She even has umbrellas in the closet of the getting ready room in case of rain! The Gallagher is a 10/10 and I recommend this venue to any bride that wants to wake up on her wedding day and know that everything is going to be taken care of by people that genuinely want to see all your dreams come true!

Wedding venue shopping is a lot on a couple. It takes time and energy and can be very stressful. However, when we say we found the perfect place we mean it. Donauschwaben’s was one of our venue choices coming highly recommended by our friends and family already. We reached out through their website and within no time we got an immediate response from the Christine, Event/ Wedding planner to set up a meeting together. She is not only extremely kind, but had everything organized so beautifully to choose from it was a no-brainer to choose this venue. She even recommended our DJ who had played a previous wedding there who was incredible. All communication leading up to our big day was efficient and layed out easily for us to understand. Our checks were deposited in a timely manner by the venue, our tasting was so nice and so delicious. The no pressure wedding planning was worth every penny spent. Our wedding day was so special and so beautiful from start to finish from the ceremony, to the cocktail hour, to our lovely reception to follow. Not only was Christine present the day of, but the staff was also on their A game all night long. Everyone was so incredibly friendly and kind, we felt like royalty. We both highly recommend this venue and if you do, definitely get the Schnitzel, Prost! The only recommendation to the venue would be to update their beverage packages to include seltzers such as High noons or White claws. At the turn of the century the company faced a crisis: the site of their mill would be flooded to form the Wachusett Reservoir. Instead of abandoning the mill, the company dismantled it brick by brick and shipped it to its new home in Easthampton, where it was rebuilt on the banks of the Lower Mill Pond. Bay 13 hosted a wedding welcome party for us. After contacting countless venues for this event, it was so refreshing to be met with flexibility and clear options that worked for us in terms of event packages. Kelly was super helpful leading up to the event and always responded to my emails promptly. As an added event to our wedding weekend, it was great having a perfect and seamless party that we didn't have to stress about. The food was a big hit with our guests as well as the space. We rented out the entire interior of the brewery but it was also easy to spill out into the lively courtyard. Our guests loved it!

Wow. Wow. Wow. We just had our wedding on 8/10/24 and can say without a doubt it was the best day of our lives. This was primarily due to the gorgeous Walden venue, their dedicated kitchen/bar staff, and especially our unbelievable planners Kalila & Alyssa. They supported us from beginning to end and not only helped us make decisions when needed, they stood up for us when needed. It is so nice to have people who have your back during this process. We could not speak more highly of Kalila & Alyssa's professionalism, knowledge, and dedication. Our guests continue to rave about the food and drinks!!! People have told us it is the best wedding they have ever been to and the best wedding food they have ever had. Coming from many NJ & NY guests... that means a lot! Green Acres and the venue sales manager, Brooke were such a delight to work with for our wedding! The venue is absolutely stunning and we are so happy we decided to have our wedding there. The staff helped ensure our day went smoothly and were so kind and helpful throughout. Our suggestion would be to confirm that the preferred catering fits in your budget, but if it does, the food came out absolutely incredible. In addition to all of the beautiful decor, food and ambiance, I have included a photo of Alfonso hand delivering a cocktail to me because he wanted to ensure I enjoyed myself while chatting with the guests. Not pictured: when he brought plates of food to my husband and I to make sure we got to eat! Cannot recommend it more highly!

Berry Acres was outstanding for our March wedding. The venue is absolutely gorgeous, and it is was so easy to customize to make our vision come to life. The gold curtain backdrop in the reception hall made our photos extra magical. Emma was our planner and coordinator, and made sure everything went smoothly- from planning meetings months in advance, to the rehearsal, to our big day, down to making sure the tablecloths were just right. She made my dream come true of an outdoor ceremony, while wisely having a backup plan if the weather didn't cooperate. Our officiant shared how our wedding ended up being one of the smoothest he's ever been apart of because of her. My husband and I didn't have to stress about a thing because we knew we were in such good hands! If you're considering Berry Acres, go for it!!!! You won't regret a thing.

To say Emily and the team at GBC made our dreams come true is an understatement. From the moment we met, we were immediately impressed with her positive attitude, attention to detail, and organization. We fell in love with the venue initially, but now upon reflecting, it was the collective efforts of the staff of Galilee Beach Club that we will forever cherish and appreciate for the rest of our lives. Emily patiently listened and worked hard throughout the entire process, answering endless emails from me, while collaborating with Chris the general manager, Chef Rob, and the rest of her event staff to make all of our ideas come to life. Emily’s planning meetings along the way were focused, thorough, and super informative. She made time (even during her hectic season) for us, always. We trusted her completely with our vision and she knocked it out of the park. For me, I was in awe of her attention to the little things… the plate of hors douerves delivered to the bridal suite for us right after the ceremony, the signature drinks in our toasting flutes during dinner, the floating candles she suggested for the sweetheart table, right down to Emily locating our missing marriage license moments before the ceremony! She did it all with grace and ease. I could trust Emily and her team to set up all of the decor without an ounce of worry and on top of the beautiful set-up, Emily and her team packed up everything (and I mean everything!) into my car that night which truly was an unbelievable service. Chris, the General Manager, was our officiant and he was incredible. We had only met Chris a handful of times before we got married, but we felt as if he was one of our good friends. He knew exactly what we were looking for and we couldn’t have asked for a better ceremony. And the food! Everything was out of this world. Multiple guests claimed the short rib was the best they ever had. Chef Rob’s seared tuna steaks were prepared to perfection, even impressing a room full of tuna fisherman, which is certainly not an easy feat! The Galilee Beach Club was a warm, welcoming, highly professional, full service, simply spectacular place to get married. Our wedding surpassed our wildest dreams, which was undoubtedly the result of the hard work and long hours put in by Emily, Chris, Rob and the rest of the event staff at GBC. As two native Rhode Islanders and Galilee locals, we could not have had a more perfect setting for one of the most memorable days of our lives. We are forever grateful to have worked with such a remarkable team.

We had our wedding at The Red Barn this past May and everything was beyond perfect! Our wedding coordinator, Alex was so on top of everything during the planning stages and throughout the wedding itself. She is so incredible and we feel so lucky to have worked with her! The entire staff at The Red Barn was so amazing as well. The space is stunning and the food and drinks were incredible. We truly cannot say enough good things about The Red Barn! We had our reception and ceremony indoors and the fireplace backdrop was absolutely perfect. The space itself is beautiful and we really didn’t feel that we needed to do a ton of decorating which lessened stress and saved us on decor costs. However, all we really had to do was drop off what decorations we did have and Alex and her team took care of set up and breakdown with our vendors. We really didn’t have a single worry the weekend of the wedding. The amazing staff at The Red Barn took care of it all. We also stayed at Stage House Inn the weekend of the wedding and got ready there. Darien was a pleasure to work with and made coordinating room blocks so easy! The bridal suite comfortably fit all the girls getting ready (12 total people) plus 4 hair and makeup girls. It was also the perfect room for getting ready photos! We held our rehearsal lunch at The Links restaurant and the staff was so accommodating! We had a last minute reservation for around 25 and they took us no problem. Excellent and affordable food and drinks! Overall we had a perfect experience with every aspect of The Red Barn. We absolutely would recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect spot for their wedding!

Choosing Vault 634 for my wedding was THE best decision we made. Eric, Jared and their team made our wedding stress free, seamless and elegant. There are so many positive aspects of this venue, I'm not sure where to even begin with this review. Food: five stars. From the appetizers, to dinner to deserts our guests raved about it all. Physical site: The Vault is a historic site that has had millions of dollars put in to its renovation. The sky light, the grand staircase and the chandeliers make it eloquent and beautiful. The downstairs bar captures the historic feel of the venue and another part of the wedding our guests absolutely loved. They only host one wedding per day so you have the entire venue for just you and your guests. They are also a one-stop-shop. Linens, chairs, centerpieces, table numbers can all be provided for you which is such a big time and money saver. Customer Service: Eric, Jared and their team are absolutely amazing. Jared answered every email, question and inquiry immediately and was beyond attentive to us. The planning process was simple and streamlined thanks to all his help along the way. The day of the wedding you will have not a single thing to worry about. Eric and Jared and their team will make sure everything runs exactly the way you want it to. Any small snafu or issue will be solved and you probably won't find out there was any issue until the next day. They also helped us with setting up our ceremony space and small touches we planned with decor so no day of coordinator is needed. There is not a single negative thing I can say about this venue and Eric & Jared and their team. You simply can not go wrong with having your Wedding at Vault 643

BOOK WITH NAZARETH HALL!! I can not say enough good things about this wedding venue. First of all it’s gorgeous!!! And they checked all of our boxes and more. We were looking for an all inclusive venue and that is just what they do. Venue, catering, alcohol and ceremony and reception all in one place! Their wedding coordinators make the wedding planning process so easy. They were available for any email or phone call any time. They provide you with a preferred vendor book which is amazing and helped us pick ALL of our vendors. The food and bar service were great and I got so many compliments from family and friends. Last but not least they provide you with a day of coordinator! She took all the stress away on the wedding day, communicated with the preacher, musicians, etc and made sure everyone was lined up correctly! As a bride I couldn’t appreciate this enough! She also brought my husband and I drinks all night so we could stay with family and friends and dance and didn’t have to worry about going down to the bar. Nazareth hall is amazing and I can’t say enough great things about them! If you are looking for a wedding venue look no further!

We fell in love with this venue the moment we drove up the road. My husband and I grew up in NJ, live in Brooklyn, and were looking for a venue that felt like a nature retreat while still being accessible for our friends and family. Milford is a great town just down the road and the hotels are so close too. Linnea and Alec were so communicative and helpful with the endless lists of questions we sent them. We cannot thank them enough for setting the stage for the weekend - and I'm just so impressed with how seamless and easy it felt to use their venue. We were struck just by the beauty of the whole property. It's absolutely marvelous! We were surrounded by charming little bunnies and butterflies the whole weekend. We took advantage of the place for the whole weekend - a Friday night pizza truck party, multiple pool and hot tub hangouts, and a Sunday bagel brunch in the barn. Everybody was raving about the barn, farmhouse, and cottage. The sunset during the reception created a great atmosphere for our guests to congregate and enjoy the lawn. We felt right at home and it made our wedding so incredibly special.

THE GOOD STUFF The Grange fit our needs really well for a 50 person baby shower. With the setup we chose, the room felt full but not crowded and allowed for ample room for people to move around. The fireplace added a nice atmosphere without making the room hot. The bathrooms and space were clean when we arrived. The Grange offers several table options which made it super easy for us to setup a kids zone, silent trivia area, and guest tables. Given that tables and chairs are included in the rental fee, it is fairly priced. A FEW BUMMERS While we wanted to have the garage doors open for an open-air feeling, it seemed that even the smallest bit of wind would knock over all of our decorations. Because we couldn't have the garage doors open, we did confine everything to indoors which changed our plans a bit with outdoor yard games as it wasn't super intuitive to go outside to the covered patio. We also would have liked to have been asked about the signage The Grange put outside. We had a co-ed baby shower but when we pulled up, the sign only listed the mother-to-be's name. Not a huge deal, but definitely could have been avoided. IMPORTANT CONSIDERATIONS A few things to note that may be important to you: 1. All setup, teardown, and cleaning is YOUR responsibility. So, if you don't want to haul tables and chairs, take out the trash, and mop the floor, this venue is not for you. (Note: We were made well aware of this prior to booking so it isn't a surprise but definitely a big consideration as it cuts into your rental time.) 2. The microphone works well for the main room but is very difficult to hear in the "back area" where the restrooms and food counters are. 3. When working on your budget, be sure to factor in the cost of getting event insurance as this is required and is an additional cost. (Again, we were made aware of this in advance so it wasn't a surprise.) 4. No table coverings/linens/tablecloths are provided so be sure you factor this into planning and your budget.

We looked at many wedding venues in multiple states as my fiancé and I grew up in different states and have family/friends scattered pretty widely. Not only is the Gardens the most unique and grants you access to the entire property for the day all for your wedding, they go above & beyond in every aspect. The Gardens takes care of food/drink and have a great network of recommended vendors for any aspects of the wedding they don’t provide (photos, officiant, etc.). This was by far the best value we found in any venue. You can tell the care and attention to detail from the start of your tour of the grounds and meeting Johan, Amanda and Chef Kent. The grounds are amazing and have a ton to offer both indoors and outdoors, chapel, other indoor spaces to get ready, sprawling gardens and outdoor ceremony area plus a large tent. My experience with this venue was absolutely amazing. My fiancé and I were not high maintenance or detail oriented for our wedding. We wanted the a simple nice wedding that we did not have to put a lot of work in and this place was perfect! High quality venue and vendors!! The venue itself was so beautiful, you barely have to decorate it. The vendors are all with the venue, and our amazing planner Sheilah W was awesome! She gets everything prepared and deals with contacting all the vendors and putting everyone on the same page. I was so shocked the packages even included stationeries (save the dates & invites) ! Vendors included flowers, photographer, catering, DJ, day of coordinator, cake/desserts, all inclusive bar. I am so glad we chose to have our wedding here! We could not have asked for a better experience at the Villa. This venue checked all of our boxes- food and alcohol service, an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour space, and an elegant and open reception space. The food was amazing and we continue to receive compliments on it even weeks after our wedding. The staff at this venue, from our day-of coordinator (shout out to Ellen) down to the waitstaff, know exactly what they're doing and how to make a wedding run smoothly. Ellen was a rockstar throughout the entire planning process - communicative, responsive, and professional, and helped the day run seamlessly even when things got a bit chaotic. We even had a wedding attendant that kept us and the bridal party fed and provided drinks throughout transitional times. From the second we set foot on the venue to the second we left, we knew we were taken care of and didn't have to worry about a thing. We truly cannot recommend this venue enough!

How much do wedding & reception venues cost?

The cost of wedding venues varies, with factors influencing cost including size, location, guest count, and, most importantly, whether things like catering and rentals are included. The more a reception venue near you includes, the higher the cost. When considering venues, try to compare prices apples-to-apples. If one venue includes catering and rentals in their pricing and the other doesn’t, you need to figure out how much additional cost those outside vendors would be to make a true comparison. Before booking, be sure you’re aware of additional costs outlined in your contract, like parking fees and weather-related considerations (adding a tent, etc.).

What questions should we ask wedding venues?

When talking with a potential venue, always ask about 1) their availability and 2) their capacity. Some popular venues book up peak season Saturdays nearly 2 years in advance—if your first choice date isn’t available, consider your flexibility on day of the week and year. While maximum capacity is non-negotiable, venues might have guidance on what guest count will be most comfortable. Also, you’ll want to understand what is and is not included in the venue’s fees. Some include catering, tables and chairs, and linens, while others offer just the raw space. These venues are often less expensive because you are only paying for the space itself, and you’ll have to bring in outside vendors
