Bok Vocational High School was built in 1936 to accommodate 3,000 students from across Philadelphia studying subjects like wallpapering, cosmetology, auto mechanics, bricklaying, and more. Now, Bok has been deemed as a historical building on the National Registry of Historic Places and houses more than 250 businesses and artists.
