The Barn on South Holland is a brand new event space in picturesque Holmdel, New Jersey. The newly renovated barn on 9 acres is the perfect setting for your upcoming special occasion. While there is no doubt that planning an event in these times can be different and challenging, event venues like ours offer the ability to celebrate and be as safe as possible. Many people have opted to hold smaller more intimate gatherings which can make planning a little easier and less stressful. The Barn on South Holland is a banquet facility that offers indoor and outdoor accommodations perfect for both small and large events.

Constructed in 1932, this vintage barn oversees 12+ acres of native grasslands – a rich habitat for wildflowers, birds and butterflies – and a historic farmhouse built in the 1750s by a second-generation Quaker farmer. The property is also home to Pinelands Preservation Alliance, whose mission is to protect the natural resources, history and culture of this unique region. In 2017, the Alliance transformed the barn into a great gathering place. The recently completed renovation brings contemporary comfort and energy efficiency to a setting that still retains its authentic character. Our historic house was built and finished in 1774 and was the home of New Jersey's first elected Governor William Livingston. Throughout time the house was purchased to the Kean family where they resided until the last resident passed away in 1995. Our 23 acres grounds are full of beautiful gardens. You may chose to get married in our gardens which can be found throughout the whole property. Guests will love exploring and walking around the grounds during some off periods of the event. A first floor house tour is also an option so you and your guests get to see the beauty of Liberty Hall Museum.
