“We could not have imagined a more perfect venue for our day. Everyone at Nippersink was beyond kind and helpful on the day of and for the entire year leading up to the wedding. Jaclyn was a dream to work with. She answered all of my many questions and was so flexible and accommodating. She always responded very promptly and went above and beyond in answering any questions or requests. Paul, the owner, and his wife were equally helpful and kind. I loved how personable their entire family was. My now husband and I kept saying throughout the whole wedding planning process how lucky we were to find Nippersink. Some examples of how they went above and beyond: buying my favorite flavored water and Malibu to use as a signature drink, allowing us to add on an appetizer a week before the wedding, sending us pictures of all of the available decor to use (they have so many great options available!), giving us the nicest gift day of, being flexible in the rehearsal dinner timing, and allowing us to have our ceremony at the venue with only 4 months notice when our church fell through. Besides their family being the sweetest, they have created such a wonderful space! The new wooden tables and chairs are gorgeous, the hotel was just redone, the grounds are beautiful and the food was delicious. We have gotten SO many compliments from guests about how much they loved the venue and were told from a guest it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had! We truthfully could not have had a better experience and we are so thankful to everyone at Nippersink on the Lake for that! Five stars just isn’t enough!”

“When my husband and I found Bluestem Farms, we were blown away by how much charm this barn has. The interior is so romantic, cozy, and rustic and although we couldn’t stop talking about the main floor of the barn, we kept talking about the bathrooms of all things! The cutest bathrooms around! When we met with Kelly for the first time, she answered all of our questions. The barn has an elevator in case anyone needs it, and when I told her how I have an autistic cousin who might be coming, she knew exactly where he could go if he needed to step away. Fast forward to a month before the wedding, Kelly had everything organized and worked with me to get my perfect timeline. She had a lot of furniture for free that we could use the day of too which adds to the character of the barn. The day of was more than I could have ever dreamed of. The shuttle that we used for our guests was running late and I didn’t know a thing until afterwards. Kelly handled all little things so I did not have to deal with any of it. If I could re-do this day all over again, there is 1 thing I am 100% certain on, and that is picking Bluestem all over again.”
