This review for Zeb (and the whole Sounds Elevated Team) is long overdue. Zeb is not only an incredible musician in his own right but plays the role of musical conductor with equal panache. A true “Jack of All Trades.” Some of the many hats he wore for our wedding include: -He played solo guitar for our ceremony -Lined up a jazz quartet for the happy hour -Setup the party lighting (party but classy) for the reception -Setup a photo booth for guests to take fun photos (a big hit btw) -DJ’d with a live accompaniment combo for the reception - stayed up way later than we asked him to, and DJ our afterparty (which was a VERY different vibe than the reception). He was hustling for easily 10 hours straight. And every single element he contributed to the festivities was top tier. My older cousin, a professional musician for many years, was blown away by the level of talent. It’s been almost two years since the wedding and we still get compliments about the entertainment. He and his team went above and beyond. Easily the best “value” for anything we spent money on for the wedding. I strongly recommend meeting with Zeb and gearing his philosophy/approach to weddings/events.

We were absolutely thrilled with Funk Almighty at our wedding, especially with their incredible rendition of a Taylor Swift song!!! When we mentioned our love for Taylor Swift, the band went above and beyond and created an entire medley of her hits. I hired Jackie to sing at my wedding reception Dec 3rd 2022! When I heard some samples of her voice on YouTube, I knew she has was the one I wanted singing at my wedding!! She has a beautiful beautiful soulful voice that you can get lost in for days. Jackie was super flexible, shared her ideas and suggestions when I I didn't know what direction to go with songs ( wedding planning was stressful) but she made it easy to plan and make suggestions based on my song choices. I had her sing and play the piano for 3 different songs Father daughter dance, mother son dance, and cake cutting! Looking back, being someone who’s goal was to have more entertainment then speeches, id had her perform the whole time! Our guest raved about her voice, her performance, and how beautiful her renditions sounds. She was SO SO EASY TO WORK WITH.. With a wedding being crazy expensive.. She was accommodating to our budget! There’s no doubt I’d hire her again! She can sing anything! Love love love her

The Lucky Devils Band absolutely made our wedding reception! From our initial phone call with Meredith, we knew we were in excellent hands. She took the time to thoroughly understand our vision and musical tastes, making thoughtful suggestions along the way. Communication was prompt, fun, and Meredith was so approachable throughout the planning process. On the big day, the band blew us away with their incredible talent and ability to perfectly execute our song requests, from jazz to oldies to classic rock. As musicians ourselves, we were so impressed by their skill level and experience and professionalism. During cocktail hour, two musicians played jazz, then they switched to rock mode for the reception. They truly made it feel like our own personal concert and kept people on the dance floor for literally 3 hours! The energy was palpable from their very first note, and their song selections kept guests of all ages dancing all night long. They ended the evening with “Purple Rain” by Prince and it made my life. We can't recommend the Lucky Devils Band highly enough - they were total professionals and our biggest splurge, but SO worth it I’d do it a million times over!!

In addition to being a wonderful experience, they were also a great value for the price. These are top quality musicians and we paid a reasonable price for the band. Manny and his team were amazing. Before the wedding he made sure to ask if we wanted specific songs for different parts of the ceremony and reception. We didn’t have a ton of specific songs, but we made a list of music with the vibes we wanted. Manny took the list, ran with it, and really took care of us. The dance floor was packed all night! He even played Tagalog pop songs and managed sound for a Filipino folk dance group. We also loved the little details like the template for our photo booth photos, the lights for the dance floor, and our initials projected on the wall. We danced the night away but lost our voices from screaming along with the songs too. 10/10 you can’t go wrong with dueling pianos - DJs and wedding bands are out, Felix & Fingers is IN!

Michael did a fantastic job as our wedding DJ and emcee. He took the time to meet with us on multiple occasions to get to know us as a couple, to learn about our music interests, and to understand what type of vibe we were going for at the ceremony and reception. He created a timeline for our wedding that was so helpful because I did not have a day--of coordinator. He even gave my brother some pointers since it was his first time being an officiant. The party was so much fun, the music was great, his lighting was awesome, and all of our guests enjoyed the photobooth. 10/10 would recommend!

TURNTables made our wedding reception a night we will never forget. We received so many compliments about the band. We had a 5 piece band and worked with Dasha and she was absolutely amazing, so easy! We had frequent communications, timeline reviews, site visits, music selection was superb and they even learned new songs at our request (long list of songs/genre that they are capable of performing), very professional (dress code at our discretion). Just pure 100% talent! They kept the energy up all night. Their production team was also top notch, making everything perfect! Thanks for being part of my special day!

Absolutely amazing!!! People at our wedding still talk about them a month later! They not only brought great positive energy but were so sweet and kind to work with. They heard all of our requests and took them all into account. They were not only amazing to us but all of our family and friends. Would HIGHLY recommend. Also working with Utah Live Bands was one of our easiest vendors to work with - Stephen Tobian was always so responsive it was great for planning from afar! Book these guys early though they fill up fast!
