Welcome. Built-in 1886 for William and Bertha Haas, the House is an exuberant example of Queen Anne-style architecture. The Haas and Lilienthal families occupied the house until 1973. It then went into the trust of San Francisco Heritage, a non-profit architectural and cultural preservation organization that turned it into a museum and event venue for the enjoyment of the community. In 2012, the House was designated a National Treasure by the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

Che Fico is an Italian Taverna in San Francisco’s Nopa neighborhood. It’s a place to gather with friends and enjoy warm hospitality, food, and drink, through an approachable menu and convivial ambiance. The restaurant itself inhabits a building with over 100 years of history in San Francisco and was originally built as a stable after the great fire in 1906 and before our takeover of the space, an auto body shop. A complete overhaul of the building was necessary to bring it up to date. Del Popolo launched as a mobile pizzeria in May of 2012, churning out Neapolitan-inspired pizza from a glass enclosed shipping container on a Freightliner truck.
