Your earth loving, sun chasing Oregon elopement photographer. My work is ever evolving but my intention is always the same: to capture the essence of who you are and create timeless photographs that will always take you back to your incredible day.

As two VERY busy people who get camera shy, my husband (eeek! Crazy I get to call him that!!) and I do not have many photos together that are worthy of framing, or even posting on socials for that matter. So going into this experience, I knew we needed someone that could make us feel comfy, capture who we actually are as a couple, and be able to organize all the behind the scenes aspects of our sessions. In walks Mia. Mia took care of quite literally every aspect of our sessions. We did an engagement and elopement session at Mt Ranier in November. She drove up several days BEFORE our scheduled shoot to scope out the area, take notes on open paths, gauge the sunrise and sunsets, prepare for the weather changes, etc etc. Literally all the things that we would never have thought of, she did. We had a Pinterest board of outfits and inspo, a packing list of items we most def did need, phone calls to get to know each other, a centralized location for anything related to our sessions, and most importantly: peace of mind. I cannot rant and rave about how flawless the process was leading up to our sessions with Mia. Then the day of, we could not have asked for a more intimate and perfect day. Mia was so sweet, boosting us as a couple but also stopping to fix my hair or helping us to get those perfect swoon-worthy shots with poses we wouldn't have thought to do. However, it truly felt like we were in our own little world and Mia was just a fly on the wall. I feel like the pictures truly encompass how we are as a couple, which is so rare and beautiful of a thing to capture. Just go to her website, all of her work speaks for itself. If you want to see our pictures, we are "Liz and Cameron". The moments she captured are being framed for our home and have been shared endlessly. They are absolutely timeless. We cannot wait to see Mia again to capture more of our lives together.

Thalia Moshtagh Photography

5.0

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,300
  • Serves Point Arena, CA for additional fees

Hello! I’m so excited for the chance to work with you. I’m a former teacher who has always had a passion for photography. I started working freelance in 2015 and did a lot of my first jobs in the music industry. I shot Warped Tour a few times and even had one of my promos featured by AP magazine. I quickly realized I loved working with couples the most, and now focus on couple and family portraits and weddings!

Awarded Best of Zola
Thalia saved our wedding. We had to change photographers very last minute and were super worried about hiring someone new. Then we found Thalia and from the moment we had our first intro call with her we had a feeling that everything was going to work out. She was so professional, during our first call she was very well organized and clear about what she would need from us. She took her time to make sure we were a great match and to understand our vision. She was personable and kind, speaking with her felt like talking to a friend right away. She was considerate, during all parts of the wedding she made sure to give us time alone together and we never felt rushed. Even still she constantly captured the most breath taking photos. Lastly she was so much fun! Our guests loved her and thought she had the most wonderful energy. She directed us very well. Looking over the pictures I’ve never felt so beautiful. She even brought her own props to go with our theme for the pictures. A vintage camera and tray. Everything she did was so thoughtful. I wish we could have another wedding just to have her photograph it. You will not regret working with Thalia. We feel so incredibly lucky to have gotten the opportunity.

Hey there! Since you are trusting me to capture these special moments in your life, I figured you should probably know a bit about me, right? I am a Huntsville, Alabama native, but moved to Nashville after graduating from the University of Alabama in 2013. ROLL TIDE! Although I consider Nashville home, I am anything but a homebody. I love traveling and exploring new places (especially the food at those places!). I even studied abroad in Italy, which let me tell you, was a food lover's dream. I have always felt like an old soul trapped in a millennial’s body. I would rather listen to Frank Sinatra than anything on the radio today.

Awarded Best of Zola
I have worked with Diana a lot in the past 2 years, and she is so great at what she does! I love getting to do videography by her side! She cares so much about her couples and you can just tell from the moment you get to meet her!

Venture Ever After

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $4,400
  • Serves Point Arena, CA for additional fees

My name is Nadia. I specialize in elopements + intimate weddings in the Pacific Northwest. I help people in love have the wedding of their dreams in magical outdoor spaces. When you choose to elope, you’re choosing to get married free of society’s wedding day expectations. So go wild! Spend the entire day in your favorite place, with your favorite person. Wear a fancy outfit, or wear your hiking boots. Invite your dog instead of your mom’s second cousin. Share your first kiss under the stars instead of under an altar. In the great outdoors, you write the wedding rules. And I’m here to help make it an experience you’ll remember for a lifetime.

Awarded Best of Zola
When we began looking for a photographer for our micro-wedding, we gravitated towards Nadia’s images over and over again. Not only did they capture raw, intimate moments between couples and families, but they elevated those moments in elegant and natural landscapes of the PNW; everything we wanted. We reached out and set up a consultation call immediately. We were initially nervous and felt very unprepared to speak with photographers because we had zero ideas for what our special day would look like, but after our call with Nadia we were confident that Venture Ever After was the right choice for us. She was so knowledgeable and did a TON of legwork planning our timeline to best capture the moments we wanted in the lighting we needed, recommending a variety of locations for some private moments as a couple and group activities with our family, and keeping us grounded and calm throughout the entire process. On our wedding day, Nadia took the reigns and gently guided us through the day with compassion and grace. She constantly reminded us that each moment was for us and encouraged us to revel in all of the details. She even conquered some pretty crazy heights armed with multiple cameras and a walky-talky to capture some dramatic and beautiful couple’s portraits. Beyond being an incredible photographer, Nadia is one of the most genuine and kind people I’ve met. She has a knack for keeping elopement/wedding day energy light and helping her clients feel natural in front of the camera. My partner and I truly felt like models. I feel so blessed to have our wedding photographed by her and, above all, be able to call her a friend. I would recommend Nadia at Venture Ever After to everyone planning an elopement, wedding, or adventure in the PNW. In fact, I hope to be able to visit her and capture anniversaries and momentous occasions for our family long into the future.

If you are reading this right now, you should go ahead and book Carmen already for your big day! ;) You absolutely won't regret it!! My husband and I knew we wanted to book Carmen early on in our wedding planning process - in fact, she was the first vendor we booked. After we picked a venue, we worked with Carmen's schedule since we knew 1000% that we wanted to have her document our big day. From the beginning Carmen was super friendly and communicative with quick responses throughout the week (usually on weekends she is likely at a wedding). She was also very organized and had questionnaires to help us get to know each other better on a more personal level so we wouldn't feel like strangers on the big day. We went with one of her packages which included an engagement session (which was super fun and matched what we were envisioning - a "naturey" theme with mountains/hills in the background), a second shooter (who was super amazing!), an heirloom album (which we are currently working with her on), and more! The engagement session was extremely helpful for us because we were slightly nervous before the shoot, but the more time we spent with her, the more relaxed and at ease we felt (which is saying a lot because my husband and I are both introverts). We liked that Carmen could help us naturally pose and that her editing style was not too overly edited but allowed the natural beauty in each shot to shine. We also really appreciated Carmen's flexibility - my husband and I are both healthcare workers who have varying schedules and sometimes work weekends, but she was able to still plan our engagement session and our Zoom calls around our busy schedules. After the big day, when we look back on our wedding day, one thing that really stood out was how many of our guests were amazed with Carmen and her second shooter; the small details Carmen noticed made a lasting impression on a lot of our family members such as when Carmen and her second shooter would hold onto our guests' purses or sunglasses and make sure everyone looked essentially before taking photos. My mother-in-law couldn't stop raving about Carmen and how attentive she was to each guest. We also enjoyed all the photos of the wedding venue, each of our guests, and small moments and details that my husband and I might not have noticed since we were all over the place on the day of our wedding. At the end of the day, while all the food and drinks have been consumed, the music has been played, and the decorations and flowers have been set up and taken down, the only thing we have to reminisce on is the photography and documentation of our special day, and that's why we trusted Carmen to be our wedding photographer and would recommend her a thousand percent to all our friends and family.

We are absolutely thrilled with the exceptional service provided by Alli – Alexandra Wallace for our engagement and wedding photos. From the initial consultation to the final delivery (within 30 days of the date!) of the photos, every step of the process was handled smooth, organized and her creativity is amazing! On the day of the wedding, Alli went above and beyond to capture every special moment. She was well-prepared, but also incredibly personable, making everyone feel at ease in front of the camera. Her ability to blend into the background while still capturing candid, intimate moments was truly impressive. We love her style each and every photo. What sets Alli apart is her attention to detail and dedication. She knew the perfect spots for our first look, bridal shots, and family photos. She also managed to capture the essence and emotions of the day beautifully, providing us with a stunning collection of photos that we will cherish forever. As promised, the final photos were delivered well before the promised date. The quality of the images exceeded our expectations; every photo was vibrant, well-composed, and perfectly edited. It was evident that she spent time on each photo and took ownership over her work. We highly recommend Alli and her team to any couple looking for a wedding photographer who is not only talented but also dedicated to making your special day unforgettable. Gabbie Burseth Photo

5.0

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $7,000
  • Serves Point Arena, CA for additional fees

Gabbie Burseth grew up documenting everything and saving mementos in empty Christmas boxes. After studying at the Grady School of Journalism at the University of Georgia, she discovered an affinity for weddings and their accompanying treasures. Her philosophy as a wedding photographer is to observe with as little interference as possible — no faking it, no do-overs, no “for the camera”. Her biggest desire is for couples to be present at their wedding, not stuck in a photoshoot. Her work is punctuated by rich and vibrant color, the timeless quality of analog film, and a sense of humor found in fleeting moments.

Awarded Best of Zola
The professionalism, raw talent, and sweet demeanor are only a few of the exquisite gifts Gabbie offers. If you are looking for a photographer who is the complete package, look no further. When selecting wedding vendors, every blog post will tell you that choosing your photographer is one of the most important (if not the most important). However, little information is provided after that tidbit, which can be daunting for an excited (albeit overwhelmed) bride who wants every detail of their wedding to be perfect. Sean, my now husband, and I had selected our venue, The 1909 in Topanga Canyon, CA., and our coordinator, Allison, with West Events LA, provided us with a list of her preferred vendors -- insert us coming across Gabbie. I remember going to her website, scrolling through her work, and being enamored with how each photo captured a different emotion and feeling. We both immediately knew that from looking at her work alone, we wanted our photos to look and feel the same. After sending an inquiry and coordinating a call, Gabbie & I spoke on the phone for close to an hour about what we had in mind for our wedding, and I remember it all clicking when Gabbie described her work as "documentary" style. Sean and I knew we didn't want a videographer for our wedding, so Gabbie's techniques and overall vision aligned perfectly with what Sean and I wanted. We also opted to do a round of engagement photos with Gabbie 5 months before our wedding, where she came into our home to take photos of us in our most comfortable and natural state (chasing our dogs around the yard) and then for a shoot at a local winery that we love to go to. Not only did we have such a fun and great experience, but we also felt so comfortable and relaxed with Gabbie. We almost forgot we were there to have our photos taken! We received the gallery back shortly after and were so thrilled. Fast-forward to our wedding, we had hired Gabbie a second shooter for 8 hours. They met us at the venue for the final getting-ready details around 1 pm and stayed through to a good portion of the dance floor, around 9 pm. They arrived promptly and were even extra helpful with Sean when getting his suit on! While those details may seem minor to some, it was that unique care and attention from both Gabbie and her second shooter that made Sean & I, and all of our guests, feel so beautiful and confident to be themselves. When Sean and I got our gallery back, we spent a solid three hours scrolling through every captured moment, laughing, crying, and squealing with excitement. I am not exaggerating when I say that seeing the captured images and how Gabbie so beautifully arranged them in the album was purely magic. Any time we go through the album, we genuinely feel transported back to that day, and there is no doubt in my mind it is because of Gabbie's pure mastery of her craft. As part of her thorough questionnaire, one of the questions was what percentage of digital-to-film prints we would like, and for ours, we chose 50:50. I'm so glad we opted for film, and I almost wish we had had more because these photos are indeed what dreams are made of. The icing on the cake, Gabbie also wrote us an adorable card after the wedding, which included 3 of the film prints. Sean & I will forever be grateful to Gabbie for her work and friendship. We love you!!

Oh my goodness, where do I begin? I honestly can not even express how much I enjoyed my experience with Roberta. When I met her initially before hiring, I instantly picked up on her genuine and gentle way and knew that she would be a great fit for us on our wedding day. Fast forward to a year and change later and she was even better than I could have hoped for. She's a true master of her art. She knows exactly where to get the shot, how to make you feel completely comfortable, how to make you look natural and how to move you along in a way where you can still enjoy your party (which was really important to us). She listens to what you want and that's exactly what she gives you. All of our friends and family commented that Roberta knew what she was doing and they were right. I'm Val - I value authenticity, connection, and love. I feel so lucky to spend my days photographing weddings, traveling to new places, and witnessing couples sharing their heart. I can’t think of a better way to spend my days. As someone who is married, I deeply understand how significant and special a wedding day truly is. It’s about the love, the people, and all the emotions felt—the moments you’ll cherish and reminisce for decades to come.

I first met Valerie when she was photographing my friend's elopement, and she really made the day even more special. Her photos turned out absolutely amazing! I couldn't wait for a chance to hire her for my own engagement or elopement. So, when the opportunity came up for a fun couples shoot, I jumped on it. Having her shoot us felt like just my boyfriend and I alone – super relaxed and no awkwardness in front of the camera. Once again, her photos blew us away. We're totally obsessed and definitely planning to book her for our engagement or wedding, maybe even both!

Working with Shelby in 2022 was truly magnificent - she is kind, compassionate, professional, while also getting the JOB DONE. We worked together on a post-COVID wedding that was nearly 4 years in the making. Shelby made the bride and groom feel like the most special humans on the planet, while taking some insanely gorgeous photos at the same time. Shelby's communication and attention to details and timeline constraints in the weeks leading up to the wedding are the bride and planner's dream! We love Shelby and the service she provides :)

This is delightfully different elopement + wedding photography! From helicopter elopements and lakeside wedding bashes to hiking engagements to weddings with bouncy houses, I capture the adventurous, quirky, and unique. Based in both New York + California, with travel worldwide, I've photographed couples on 6 continents. My creative, fun, & candid photography uses innovative techniques and unique ideas to get photos that make you look twice. Whether you're saying vows in your backyard or having a 3-day adventure wedding in the rainforest, I'll catch every spontaneous moment of joy and laughter—and plan a few unique shots on top of it all.

Awarded Best of Zola
We cannot recommend Kathryn enough! First (and most obvious) (and also most important) point is that the photos she took were incredible. She captured our night beautifully. More than that though, she captured how the night felt. The photos weren't overly posy, but rather showed off how much fun and excitement there was for the entire night. I think one of the best things I can say about Kathryn is that she really made a point of figuring out HOW we wanted her to photograph the wedding and delivered. As I wrote above, we wanted the photographs to look great, but mostly just capture how the wedding felt and she delivered on that 100%. Also, as much as she made sure we were leading all the decision making, she really knew her stuff and took things off of our plate where we could. We knew how we wanted the photos to look generally, but neither of us are photographers. So we talked to her about style and vibe and she really took it from there. She was an absolute professional, a great person to work with, and kind and caring. We felt like we were in great hands every step of the way. Truly cannot recommend her enough.

I’m sure your mind is racing with all that needs to be planned. It’s all very exciting but it can also be somewhat overwhelming. You’re planning the day that you’ve been anticipating your whole life and yet you only get one shot at it! By the time you get the hang of it, the planning is over! My goal as a wedding photographer is to make this one aspect of the planning process simple. Photography is more than just images, it’s a real part of your day. Not only do you deserve beautiful images, you also deserve an amazing photographic experience.

Awarded Best of Zola
I absolutely LOVED working with Sarah as my wedding photographer! From the moment I booked her until the final gallery was delivered, I couldn't have had a better experience. Sarah made everything so fun, made me feel like her most important client, and most of all, genuinely cared about what my husband and I hoped for in our wedding photos. She brought so much energy to our day, and was an absolute joy to hang out with all day. My husband, not one for all the details and photos, even had the best experience of his life with her. Best of all, we are in LOVE with each and every one of the photos from Sarah! Each one perfectly captures a memory and a moment (in the most beautiful possible way) that my husband and I will treasure forever. We cannot recommend Sarah enough!!

Finding a new photographer to help you share special news with friends and family or to just have beautiful portraits to share in your home can be a daunting task. Will you find someone that matches your style? Will you be comfortable with them? Are they too expensive? Are they too busy all the time? All of these questions are ones that crossed my mind when trying to find someone to capture engagement and wedding photos for my husband and I! We had met Amber through word of mouth and couldn’t be more grateful, she has exceeded any and all expectations I could have for a photographer. She is extremely professional, friendly, and amazing at her craft. She is very flexible when it comes to traveling and shooting at different locations, extremely fun and gives great directions that truly makes the shoot an experience to look forward to! Her prices are very comparable and her work is out of this world. 10/10 recommend Amber Enos for any photography needs! She now has a client for a lifetime!

Welcome. Since 2011, Lerina has been photographing weddings of all shape and sizes. She has traveled throughout the country and abroad documenting love stories and the events that surround the most magical day in a couple's life. Today she calls both the desert and the coast home but feels comfortable anywhere a camera is slung around her neck, shooting on her medium of choice – film. Her work has been published and featured by Condé Nast Traveler, SELF Magazine, Green Wedding Shoes, Wedding Chicks, more.

Lerina photographed our LA wedding in August 2022 and we could not have been happier with our experience with her and her team! Lerina was very organized and professional when booking our pre-wedding engagement photo session at the Santa Barbara courthouse as well as our wedding day photography. She is extremely talented, artistic and creative, and was an absolute joy to work with. She made us feel very comfortable while being photographed, was a lot of fun to be around, and made our overall experience very pleasant and memorable. Her photos from our engagement session and wedding day— a perfect mix of digital and film— turned out better than what we could have ever imagined! She thoughtfully captured all of the special moments of our wedding and we have really enjoyed reliving the day every time we look through them. We would recommend her photography services without any hesitation! Anyone would be so lucky to work with her

My style is rooted in an editorial approach, allowing me to narrate your unique love story through timeless images that highlight genuine emotions. These intimate details hold immense significance to me. As your photographer, I bring a heartfelt and genuine perspective, ensuring that your wedding day is portrayed in a way that truly reflects you and preserves the memories you'll cherish forever.

Lucia is the most genuine and talented photographer - if you have any doubts, let them go! You won’t be disappointed by working with her :) Lucia captured our wedding back in July 2022 and the photo quality, the shots, and entire process was JUST what we wanted. From the initial consultation, I knew working with her would be a great fit because she was professional, passionate about her work, collaborative with ideas and also provided direction when I was unsure. The day of, we didn’t have to worry about anything because she worked with our wedding planner to ensure the shots we wanted got done, and taking the photos with her felt so natural! From giggly and candid to artistic and dramatic couple shots, Lucia captured a wide array of poses of us that are absolutely timeless. While there was a technical issue with some of the photos, Lucia handled the situation with grace and sincere apologies. We were lucky to get a discount and a complimentary session with her to make up for the loss of photos - and honestly it couldn’t have worked out more perfectly… the following year she came out to our town and took our maternity shoot 3 All of the photos she’s taken of us have captured the love my husband and I share, and it’s such a wonderful keepsake to have for the rest of our lives. It’s wild to think that our relationship with Lucia started with just shooting our wedding, to our maternity sessions, and soon-to-be baby session. She’s truly captured our love story and each major milestone, and now we’ve gained a friend in the process :) We can’t thank her enough for everything and the time and effort she puts into producing stunning galleries for her clients is well worth it. We can’t recommend her enough!

Since 2013, I’ve been capturing love stories in a way that’s timeless, authentic, and uniquely yours. Whether it’s a quiet elopement or a big celebration, my approach blends classic elegance with photojournalistic storytelling. More than photography, it's about building trust and celebrating love in all its beautiful forms—honoring every culture, story, and connection.

On the day of the wedding and through the prep leading up to the big day, her fun and friendly personality shone through. She was organized, calm, and seamlessly blended into the background while still guiding us through various moments. The quality of her work is truly outstanding; every photo is beautifully composed and tells a story. She has an incredible eye for detail, capturing not just the big moments but also the little, candid interactions that made our day unique. With a sparkling new ring on your finger & your dream venue secured - it's time to choose who you will entrust to capture the moments you will cherish forever. My name is Sarah and I am the head photographer at SFP. I have a love of working in natural light & creating bright, timeless & true tone images.

Awarded Best of Zola
TLDR: Sarah Fischback photography was perfect for our wedding! She worked with us every step of the way, had contingency plans and made our wedding day perfect. Why/what we chose: We booked her about a year out from our wedding in May 2024. We wanted someone who was local, with a great portfolio, and wasn’t a chain with multiple sites and a huge staff. She was flexible with the contract as we decided what we did and didn’t want. We decided on 1 photographer for 8 hours, 1 photographer for 6 hours & 1 videographer for 6 hours with an 8-10 min video of the day, plus a hard drive of pictures & footage. Leading up: We made payments in 3 installments over that year. We filled out a form which laid out specific shots we wanted, timeline for the day, and choose music for the video. 1 month before the wedding we had a phone call with Sarah directly to discuss all the plans. She answered every question we had and took great notes on a spreadsheet that she shared with us. She also told us that she was pregnant and would be due sometime soon after our wedding so she was planning to have the second photographer stay longer to help out in case she couldn’t do certain things, at no charge to us. The only “problem”: A week before the wedding Sarah texted us that she had gone into labor. This could easily have been one of those stressful last minute wedding issues, but she had an organized, thorough, and thoughtful contingency plan. She had her secondary photographer become the primary, and had another individual as her secondary. She filled them in on the plans of the day and everything was still a go! And Sarah still edited our photos. It was a bummer we wouldn’t have Sarah there, but given how everything had gone so far we trusted her and hoped for the best! Wedding day: The bridal party was met by Sara Fischer (our new primary) at a nearby hotel right on time for all the getting ready shots! Sean (secondary) arrived with Jose (videographer). They started with shots of the venue and groomsmen getting ready. The ceremony started and they just sort of blended in with the crowd, it was great! We didn’t have a wedding planner for making sure we were on time, but the photographers helped with this (not their job but super helpful). The reception went really well too! They worked hard and I hope I gave them a break to have some food as the day really got away from me! One of the other great things was I had a film camera and wanted some film photos and Sean took a bunch with it for me and I really appreciated that (I bought the film, developed, & scanned them & Sarah did edit some of them). Sara, Sean, and Jose were absolutely delightful people to have at the wedding and seemed truly happy to be there. Photo reveal: 2 weeks after the ceremony we got 8 sneak peaks and gave some feedback on coloring and lighting preferences! 8 weeks after the ceremony we got our photos! I honestly love every single photo they took! Absolutely no duds! Our video was 9 minutes long and beautiful! It is amazing to see all these shots of us and our guests, especially from times I didn’t even notice the cameras. Final thoughts: I cannot recommend Sarah Fischback enough. She did so much for us and made our day very special. I know the photographer is one of the most expensive parts of the wedding, but Sarah far exceeded my expectations and it was well worth it!

Bogdanov Photography was an absolute delight to work with for our wedding day. From the moment we first connected, Svat was outgoing, reachable, and prompt in his communication, putting us at ease throughout the entire planning process. His detail-oriented, gorgeous photography captured all the special moments of our day in a truly high-quality and affordable way. He was flexible and generous with his time and saved us quite a bit of money finding the perfect package to suit our exact needs. Do you know how to throw a good party? If you said yes to any of these, then I believe this is the start of something beautiful!

I do not know what we would have done without her!! She kept everyone laughing and relaxed, and for that I cannot thank her enough. Even with the delay, she was able to finish the family pictures, our couples pics, and the wedding party AND still managed to get us to the reception ON TIME! She was absolutely incredible and even our wedding planner was so impressed by her! The pictures turned out to be everything we imagined and more and we cannot recommend her enough to our friends and family.

If you would have known me growing up, you would have been surprised if I didn’t become a photographer! I fell in love with photography after spending countless hours in the darkroom. Since 2008, I have been working professionally in the photography industry and have shot over 300 weddings and numerous other assignments in almost every genre of photography. Why Weddings? I love problem solving and puzzles, and I’m always up for a good challenge. For me, a wedding is a day full of all of the things that I love. Its basically a whole day of coming up with solutions to make the best photographs for my couples.

Awarded Best of Zola
Lisa did an incredible job of photographing our wedding and we couldn't recommend her more highly. She was super professional and responsive in the lead-up to the wedding, and on wedding day, she was organized, calm, and efficient, which we really appreciated given how much was going on that day. She brings a ton of experience and a real eye for detail and lighting, which we thought really showed in her photos -- they were beautiful!!! Our wedding day was a whirlwind, and while we loved it, it went by just as quickly as everyone said it would. When we got our photos from Lisa (which she delivered faster than expected), it gave us the chance to relive the day, plus see so many other small moments going on between people at the wedding we hadn’t been able to see. Choosing to work with her was one of the best decisions we made -- we will cherish the photos for the rest of our lives! Also, we decided relatively last-minute to schedule an engagement photo shoot with Lisa at SF City Hall, and she was kind enough to accommodate us on pretty short notice. Her experience showed here too -- she knew the best spots to seek out in the building, and the photos are beautiful and personal even though City Hall can get so busy with people. Both my wife and I are not the most comfortable being photographed, but she was patient in walking us through how to stand and showed us our photos to help us understand why she was giving us the instructions she was. She was so dedicated to getting the best possible shots, and that really came through in the photos. As mentioned above, we can't recommend her more highly!

Hi, I'm McKenna! The person behind the camera and a hopeless romantic. I describe my photography style as candid, romantic, and timeless. My goal is to make a human connection with all my clients and deliver images that you'll love forever. I started 1828 Collective in 2016 after I realized that capturing relationships and telling love stories was my passion. Four years later I'm so in love with my job that I often forget I'm working. I find joy in capturing love, hearing about how you met, and everything in between.

McKenna was so friendly and charismatic from the start and she fit right into the craziness and chaos of our life without missing a beat. She was flexible and super communicative, especially when it rained on the day of our engagement photos, which really helped to calm our nerves and make the session comfortable and fun. She stepped right into the flow of things on our wedding day and kept everyone on schedule and in good spirits. The photos came back better than I could've imagined and our guests haven't stopped talking about them. To say that McKenna is talented would be an understatement and I'll certainly be asking her to capture the rest of our big life moments!

Hi there! I'm Brayley, a full-time Traveling Wedding + Lifestyle Photographer who operates primarily in the Western United States, & I would LOVE to be your wedding photographer! 🫶🏼 I grew up & now live in the PNW with my loving spouse & our sweet pup, Forrest, but after doing my undergrad in AZ, I just knew I needed to spend at least part time there, too. I LOVE my work & am passionate about capturing life's precious milestones, & doing so in a way that feels natural & authentic to my clients. Although I love all photography, I specialize in wedding, lifestyle, & business photography with a natural, earthy, classic & candid style.

Brayley was hands down the easiest and one of the best hires for our wedding. I found her through the Zola website as a photographer with five stars. I reached out, and she got back to me immediately. Her communication skills were top-notch, and I hired her that same day. My fiancé and I live in the Carolinas, and despite the three-hour time difference, we always felt in the loop, heard, and understood. From the first email to the wedding day, she was amazing. Now let's get to the important stuff... the wedding day. She was incredible. She got all the shots I wanted and then some. We were able to get all the photos done in a timely manner so that we could get back to the party and enjoy ourselves. Brayley captured both staged photos and the best candids. We cannot wait to get the rest of our album back. If you're thinking about hiring Brayley... DO IT!

I’m Annie, a wedding photographer with a passion for capturing love stories in their most authentic and artistic forms. Based in East Texas, I focus on the intimate, unscripted moments that truly reflect your connection—the moments that make your wedding day uniquely yours. I believe your photos should be more than just images; they should be timeless pieces of art that transport you back to the emotions of your day. With a limited number of weddings each year, I ensure every couple receives my full attention. Available wherever your love story takes us.

Awarded Best of Zola
TLDR: I could not have picked a better photographer and I truly believe that Annie would be perfect for absolutely anyone. Her energy is infectious in a way that really brings up your excitement levels but also keeps your anxiety down. My husband is very introverted and was really worried about photos, but she kept him comfortable and in his element in a way I truly don’t believe anyone else would have. As for myself, I felt beautiful and gorgeous the entire time because of her and her partner. For the work she did and the amount of effort she puts into our photos, I believe her prices are incredibly fair. If anything, she’s undercutting herself. I will absolutely be recommending Annie to anyone and everyone. Now for the longer part of the review! We got married on May 30th, 2024 and we were doing our wedding a little differently. Instead of doing private vows or doing our vows at the ceremony, we did our vows at our rehearsal dinner. That is also when we allowed friends and family to come up and say something. The reason we did this route is because my husband is introverted and not a public speaker while I am the complete opposite. He also really wanted to see my walk down the aisle as our first look instead of a private look. Me, on the other hand, wanted at least our family and close friends to witness our vows. So we compromised! On top of it being two separate days, I was very adamant that I wanted two photographers along with wanting to capture the little things, such as my grandparents holding hands or our friends doing silly things at a table. I don’t mind staged photos, but I really wanted more natural focused shots. It was surprisingly difficult to find someone who was able to both days and within our price range. When we stumbled upon Annie, it felt like fate. She was so easy to figure things out with. Instead of an engagement photo session, she was happy to do our rehearsal dinner instead. She was there for any questions I had and the forms she had us fill out were super detailed! It really helped getting our thoughts together and deciding what was most important for our wedding. The day before the wedding, she vibed so well with everyone at the rehearsal dinner. She even got perfect photos of our dogs, who are honestly like our children. The day of the wedding, Annie and her second photographer (who I’ve completely blanked on the name, my fault for taking so long to write a review!) were amazing. Every single one of our friends had compliments for them and just LOVED their energy. Annie kept me calm and collected while the second was fully invested in my husband. I don’t think the wedding would have gone as smoothly without those two. The photos I received back? Better than I could ever dream of. Truly. They got beautiful shots of my grandparents dancing, my dad talking to one of his nephews, his mom talking with his brother. Just candid shots that looked real and natural. I am unbelievably so happy with Annie and the work she put in for us. Photographs are one of the most important things for me at our wedding and she truly blew it out of the park.We thank her for all her work from the bottom of our hearts and will always cherish the memories she gave us.
