Hi, I'm Candace and I have a thing for weddings! I didn't start as a wedding photographer, I actually started as a BIRTH photographer surprisingly! I was addicted to capturing real and raw moments for families to have and relive over and over. I actually was nervous for weddings, which is why I didn't start doing them. One thing led to another and as people started asking me if I WOULD shoot their wedding, I decided to give it a try. Fast-forward to dozens and dozens of weddings later and I am obsessed!! I am a full fledged wedding photographer and I LOVE capturing every single moment of your day. The addiction is real!!

Candace is very professional and so much fun to work with! She is so good at capturing feelings and the candid moments people will look back on and remember their exact emotions. So much talent!!

I am a Portland native through and through! My love for photography rivals only my love of traveling. My interest in photography began at a young age, thanks to my Uncle and 8th grade math teacher. After over 18 years of experience, I have mastered the art of putting my clients at ease and creating an environment for them to be present and most importantly be themselves. I have a deep passion for not only the images I create but for the people I work with. I truly consider it an honor to be a part of someone’s wedding day and the images we create together become reflective memories for the couple, not just snapshots in time.

When I came across Rebecca's website and portfolio I was immediately smitten. Her style was so beautiful and unique, and exactly what I was hoping to find for our wedding. One quick call with her and I knew she was our photographer. She was so warm and welcoming and we felt completely ourselves around her. We had FUN spending time with her for both our engagement and wedding photos. Aside from her amazing skills - she went ABOVE AND BEYOND to coordinate our engagement photos with us when we were living in California. Here's what you should know: First, it's pronounced Sokol like 'vocal'. We're Polish... like kraut-and-pierogi-at-every-family-gathering-Polish. Sokol & Co Photo was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding day! From our very first interaction, Savannah was organized, considerate, and prompt in her communication, making the planning process much easier for us. I didn’t have a wedding coordinator, so having Savannah be as organized as she was was SO important. On the day of, she was fun and put us at ease in front of the camera (even my husband who isn’t crazy about photos). The quality of her work is incredible - Savannah has an amazing eye and is so creative! She captured all of our desired shots and so many unique, special moments that I wouldn’t have thought of. I’m Adam—a Boston native who’s now roaming around California photographing everything I see. When I’m not behind the camera you can usually find me in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes, sipping a dirty martini with friends, jamming to Taylor Swift in the car, or taking my rescue pup Ollie to the park or on long neighborhood walks. I got my first film camera when I was 8, and it was love at first sight. Capturing your story is more than just a job for me. From destination elopements to parties of the century, I've seen it all and love every minute of a wedding day.

Leah Flores Photography

5.0

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $2,800
  • Serves Point Arena, CA for additional fees

I am a photographer and artist from the Pacific Northwest with Costa Rican and Scottish roots. My favorite things are dinosaurs, exploring new cities, board games, soccer, National Parks, and whiskey. I have been fortunate to photograph 200+ weddings in my PNW home, to ruins in Scotland, cityscapes in Vietnam, to the beaches of Maui, and beyond! I live in Portland, Oregon with my two dogs and three cats | 🏳️‍🌈🦖⛰️✈️📸⚽🫶🏼🌈🌲🦕🏝 Fun Fact: I was born on Leap Year Day so I'm 9 years old 🥳!

Awarded Best of Zola
I have used many photographers in the past but none came close to the level of expertise that Leah possesses. Over the years, I've done business headshots with her, family photos, and most recently my wedding. Since I have used Leah's services for other things before, I knew what to expect as far as photo-quality goes; the real testimonial comes from how she handled the wedding. Shooting a wedding in another country with a chaotic family is no easy task, even I wouldn't wish it upon myself, but Leah truly knocked it out of the park: she checked in before the event day to go over the schedule, showed up early, got all of the extra shots that I requested, directed people, and just really took charge of the experience. Having her as my wedding photographer was literally one of the only non-stressful decisions I made for that event lol. The photos turned out beautifully, I really can't imagine having anyone else capture one of the most important events of my life. I recommend her wholeheartedly!!

Hey there! Since you are trusting me to capture these special moments in your life, I figured you should probably know a bit about me, right? I am a Huntsville, Alabama native, but moved to Nashville after graduating from the University of Alabama in 2013. ROLL TIDE! Although I consider Nashville home, I am anything but a homebody. I love traveling and exploring new places (especially the food at those places!). I even studied abroad in Italy, which let me tell you, was a food lover's dream. I have always felt like an old soul trapped in a millennial’s body. I would rather listen to Frank Sinatra than anything on the radio today.

Awarded Best of Zola
Diana Marie Photography was an absolute joy to work with for our wedding day. From the very beginning, Diana's communication style was open, professional, and timely - she was always checking in to make sure our day was going as we had imagined. The quality of her work is truly exceptional, with a clean, timeless, and emotional style that captured all the special moments beautifully. Diana knows the importance behind wedding photos - they aren't just a social media dump, but rather the memories we'll cherish for years to come. She reminded us to take in the little things, and that thoughtfulness really shines through in the final product. We couldn't recommend Diana Marie Photography enough for any couple looking for a talented, dedicated photographer to document their big day.

Thalia Moshtagh Photography

  • Serves Point Arena, CA for additional fees

Hello! I’m so excited for the chance to work with you. I’m a former teacher who has always had a passion for photography. I started working freelance in 2015 and did a lot of my first jobs in the music industry. I shot Warped Tour a few times and even had one of my promos featured by AP magazine. I quickly realized I loved working with couples the most, and now focus on couple and family portraits and weddings!

Awarded Best of Zola
Thalia saved our wedding. We had to change photographers very last minute and were super worried about hiring someone new. Then we found Thalia and from the moment we had our first intro call with her we had a feeling that everything was going to work out. She was so professional, during our first call she was very well organized and clear about what she would need from us. She took her time to make sure we were a great match and to understand our vision. She was personable and kind, speaking with her felt like talking to a friend right away. She was considerate, during all parts of the wedding she made sure to give us time alone together and we never felt rushed. Even still she constantly captured the most breath taking photos. Lastly she was so much fun! Our guests loved her and thought she had the most wonderful energy. She directed us very well. Looking over the pictures I’ve never felt so beautiful. She even brought her own props to go with our theme for the pictures. A vintage camera and tray. Everything she did was so thoughtful. I wish we could have another wedding just to have her photograph it. You will not regret working with Thalia. We feel so incredibly lucky to have gotten the opportunity.

Venture Ever After

4.9

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $4,800
  • Serves Point Arena, CA for additional fees

My name is Nadia. I specialize in elopements + intimate weddings in the Pacific Northwest. I help people in love have the wedding of their dreams in magical outdoor spaces. When you choose to elope, you’re choosing to get married free of society’s wedding day expectations. So go wild! Spend the entire day in your favorite place, with your favorite person. Wear a fancy outfit, or wear your hiking boots. Invite your dog instead of your mom’s second cousin. Share your first kiss under the stars instead of under an altar. In the great outdoors, you write the wedding rules. And I’m here to help make it an experience you’ll remember for a lifetime.

Awarded Best of Zola
When we began looking for a photographer for our micro-wedding, we gravitated towards Nadia’s images over and over again. Not only did they capture raw, intimate moments between couples and families, but they elevated those moments in elegant and natural landscapes of the PNW; everything we wanted. We reached out and set up a consultation call immediately. We were initially nervous and felt very unprepared to speak with photographers because we had zero ideas for what our special day would look like, but after our call with Nadia we were confident that Venture Ever After was the right choice for us. She was so knowledgeable and did a TON of legwork planning our timeline to best capture the moments we wanted in the lighting we needed, recommending a variety of locations for some private moments as a couple and group activities with our family, and keeping us grounded and calm throughout the entire process. On our wedding day, Nadia took the reigns and gently guided us through the day with compassion and grace. She constantly reminded us that each moment was for us and encouraged us to revel in all of the details. She even conquered some pretty crazy heights armed with multiple cameras and a walky-talky to capture some dramatic and beautiful couple’s portraits. Beyond being an incredible photographer, Nadia is one of the most genuine and kind people I’ve met. She has a knack for keeping elopement/wedding day energy light and helping her clients feel natural in front of the camera. My partner and I truly felt like models. I feel so blessed to have our wedding photographed by her and, above all, be able to call her a friend. I would recommend Nadia at Venture Ever After to everyone planning an elopement, wedding, or adventure in the PNW. In fact, I hope to be able to visit her and capture anniversaries and momentous occasions for our family long into the future.

Imagine a wedding day that feels like stepping into your favorite storyline —intimate, magical, and unapologetically yours. I help craft experiences for couples who value creativity, intentionality, and a touch of wonder. My photography is a blend of both documentary and editorial, combined in such a way that feels authentic and timeless. From windswept vows on a mountaintop to quiet toasts in a mossy forest. Based in Oregon, I specialize in elopements that celebrate your individuality and sentimental parts of your story. Let’s create some truly magical photographs—together.

My husband and I booked Mioara after we got engaged in 2018 for our wedding scheduled for 2020. She's sweet, personable, communicative and professional. She truly goes above and beyond to make sure you are happy with her services. We worked with Mioara for a very long time due to the pandemic pushing everything back and/or rescheduling, she was so kind and flexible to whatever we needed throughout. We knew immediately after meeting her and doing our engagement session that she was the perfect fit for us, laid back and fun with a way of making you feel relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera. We were blown away by our beautiful pictures when we got them back! On our wedding day she captured all the important moments along with some fun creative ones as well. Lulan’s creativity has led to his path beyond most conventional definitions. He has won 25+ wedding photography awards, named the Best Wedding Photographer in Los Angeles; while acquired advance degree in immunology and medicine from UCLA.

Awarded Best of Zola
We found Lulan Studios about nine months before our wedding day. We were immediately drawn in by their professionalism and their reputation. Lulan is an inclusive photographer who was very receptive to our wedding vision. He and his team were incredibly kind, supportive, and helpful all throughout the process. We elected to go with Lulan Wang himself for our photographer who worked with an associate. After our initial consultation we were turned over to Shannon who was our go to contact for day to day clarifications and vendor contact until Lulan took over just before the wedding. Shannon was immensely resourceful and responsive. She communicated with our coordinator very efficiently and was always on top of our booking. We are very grateful to her as well for making the process so easy and for continuing that communication after the fact. On the day, Lulan and his associate were spectacular. It was clear his associate had more than enough talent for the job just like Lulan, but they divided and concurred by using two different types of cameras for different types of shots. We regret not doing an engagement session with them, but we will likely return for an Anniversary session in the future. We didn’t even need one though, because he is skilled enough that he understood us as a couple immediately. They made us feel comfortable and confident. They hyped us up and moved through the shot list masterfully. Nothing was missed and we captured far more than we expected. Please look through our attached photos as they speak for themselves. One of the most exciting moments was when Lulan handed us a little blue book filled with about fifteen physically printed preview photos DURING THE RECEPTION. A lovely surprise that absolutely shocked me. Turnover was 4-6 weeks and we got ours just before the six week mark right on schedule. We were floored. They are jaw-dropping. We ultimately got 950 photos permanently digitally available for high resolution download and access to a shop with impressive options for prints and albums of a wide array of types and sizes. I’m thrilled to show them to you here and implore you to consider booking Lulan Studios. We trusted in their ability from the beginning and we were not disappointed. They are among if not the absolute best in the business.

On the day of the wedding, Alli went above and beyond to capture every special moment. She was well-prepared, but also incredibly personable, making everyone feel at ease in front of the camera. Her ability to blend into the background while still capturing candid, intimate moments was truly impressive. We love her style each and every photo. What sets Alli apart is her attention to detail and dedication. She knew the perfect spots for our first look, bridal shots, and family photos. She also managed to capture the essence and emotions of the day beautifully, providing us with a stunning collection of photos that we will cherish forever. As promised, the final photos were delivered well before the promised date. The quality of the images exceeded our expectations; every photo was vibrant, well-composed, and perfectly edited. It was evident that she spent time on each photo and took ownership over her work. We highly recommend Alli and her team to any couple looking for a wedding photographer who is not only talented but also dedicated to making your special day unforgettable. Thank you, Alli, for giving us such beautiful memories to look back on!

Carmen did such an amazing job capturing our wedding back in July. As soon as we got engaged in 2019, we knew we wanted Carmen to do our photos. She did both our engagement and wedding shoot: Her work is so professional and so dreamy! And on top of that—she’s super fun and makes awkward people (like us) look so good! Our wedding was outdoors at Saddlerock Ranch, Malibu and had about 250 guests. Carmen and her team were so attentive, helpful, and made everything run smoothly! Carmen was my unofficial bridesmaid that day and anything that I needed, she was there. I know this review is only from my stand point of view, but everyone that I shared these photos with were in complete awe of how beautiful they turned out. We will definitely be reaching out to Carmen for future celebrations!

Maurissa is such an amazing human being! We could not have asked for anyone better to be our wedding photographer! We knew we loved her the minute we met her for our engagement session last winter. She is very outgoing, friendly and honest! She has been very responsive in communication from the beginning. Maurissa goes above and beyond just being a photographer. She made sure everything was lined up, provided a timeline for all the vendors, made sure to get every "must have" photo. Maurissa also helped make sure we enjoyed OUR day. I was very worried about the timeline and being behind on everything but she made sure to remind me that there is no timeline and this was our special day so anything we wanted she would make happen and the guests would be okay entertaining themselves until we were ready! We also got our sneak peaks back already and are so obsessed and cannot wait to see the rest. Maurissa will definitely be showing up in our future because we love her!!

Gabbie Burseth Photo

Gabbie Burseth grew up documenting everything and saving mementos in empty Christmas boxes. After studying at the Grady School of Journalism at the University of Georgia, she discovered an affinity for weddings and their accompanying treasures. Her philosophy as a wedding photographer is to observe with as little interference as possible — no faking it, no do-overs, no “for the camera”. Her biggest desire is for couples to be present at their wedding, not stuck in a photoshoot. Her work is punctuated by rich and vibrant color, the timeless quality of analog film, and a sense of humor found in fleeting moments.

Awarded Best of Zola
Gabbie was a true delight to work with - easy going, pleasant, responsive, and thoughtful. And did I mention that her photos were AMAZING? She delivered exactly what we wanted: candid, fun, beautiful, artistic shots, on both film and digital formats, that captured our wedding day perfectly. I couldn't recommend her more highly!!

This is delightfully different elopement + wedding photography! From helicopter elopements and lakeside wedding bashes to hiking engagements to weddings with bouncy houses, I capture the adventurous, quirky, and unique. Based in both New York + California, with travel worldwide, I've photographed couples on 6 continents. My creative, fun, & candid photography uses innovative techniques and unique ideas to get photos that make you look twice. Whether you're saying vows in your backyard or having a 3-day adventure wedding in the rainforest, I'll catch every spontaneous moment of joy and laughter—and plan a few unique shots on top of it all.

Awarded Best of Zola
We cannot recommend Kathryn enough! First (and most obvious) (and also most important) point is that the photos she took were incredible. She captured our night beautifully. More than that though, she captured how the night felt. The photos weren't overly posy, but rather showed off how much fun and excitement there was for the entire night. I think one of the best things I can say about Kathryn is that she really made a point of figuring out HOW we wanted her to photograph the wedding and delivered. As I wrote above, we wanted the photographs to look great, but mostly just capture how the wedding felt and she delivered on that 100%. Also, as much as she made sure we were leading all the decision making, she really knew her stuff and took things off of our plate where we could. We knew how we wanted the photos to look generally, but neither of us are photographers. So we talked to her about style and vibe and she really took it from there. She was an absolute professional, a great person to work with, and kind and caring. We felt like we were in great hands every step of the way. Truly cannot recommend her enough.

Peyton was incredibly professional during both photo shoots we had with her. I decided I wanted to do a boudoir shoot for my husband and was nervous. Peyton made me feel comfortable and excited about the next outfit and poses. For our wedding, Peyton came to the venue early and ensured that everything went smoothly. She scouted areas to make the best pictures. She also made me feel comfortable during the photography portion of the day. One thing to mention and I can’t thank her enough for it: she was flexible with the timing and ensured that we knew it was our day.

Lindsey Paradiso Photography

Like many kids in the late '90s and early 2000s, I grew up with a camera in hand—Polaroids, video cameras, disposables, film—you name it. I was captivated by the magic of preserving moments and telling stories. Now, as a wedding photographer, I bring that same passion to capturing your day. I’m known for making people feel warm and at ease, whether it’s connecting with your family, hyping up the wedding party, or quietly documenting the in-between moments. My goal is to create a space where everyone feels comfortable, celebrated, and truly themselves while preserving memories you’ll treasure forever.

Lindsey not only took wonderful photos she was extremely flexible to help us out! Our wedding was on the mall in DC Nov 2019, and it so happened that the Caps won the Stanley cup and the celebration parade was going to be in DC right in the middle of our photos and ceremony... Lindsey went above and beyond and showed up early to make sure we'd have time for all the photos with traffic etc. We also thought we could hit 2 photo spots per ceremony and we.onyk got one / portrait gallery and she when through there like a boss and got.us amazing photos all around the museum. In front of modern art. In stairwells. Dancing in the large attrium area. Our photos to this day are still my favorite :-)
