My name's Meg and I'm an elopement & intimate wedding photographer based in Sonoma County in Northern California. When my husband and I started planning our wedding day, we knew we wanted something very different than a traditional, big wedding day. We wanted an experience that was intimate, sentimental, and relaxed. And that's exactly what we created! We kept the traditions that made sense to us, and scrapped the rest without a shred of guilt.

Meg did such an amazing job at our engagement session that we couldn't wait to work with her on our wedding day. Not only did she capture hundreds of special memories and details, but she also made sure we soaked up every beautiful moment of the day. Of all the investments on our wedding day, choosing Meg to be our photographer was our best one. Hands down.

Having amazing photography was a major priority for our wedding so that's why we chose Meg! We're absolutely in love with both our engagement and wedding photos so we definitely made the right decision! From the first time we met her for our engagement shoot, she made us feel like we were old friends and it was so easy to work together. We had to reschedule our wedding due to Covid and she was incredibly gracious and was a great resource when lots of things were up in the air. She helped organize our timeline and make sure the photo sessions ran smoothly while making sure we captured everything we could have wanted and more. Meg instantly understood the vision we had for our wedding and was able to capture the most beautiful moments in unexpected ways. I love her eye for framing shots, it makes our wedding photos feel unique and special. The wedding day went by way too fast but we're incredibly happy that Meg so beautifully captured the memories we get to keep forever. When we got our wedding gallery back we pretty much went on tour to different friends and family to show them the whole gallery and everyone just impressed as we were. If you want to rest easy knowing that your wedding photography will live up to the wedding of your dreams... and then some... Meg is your girl!

We were searching around on Google and Meg Cooper's website showed up. As soon as we saw her photos, we knew that she'd capture the aesthetic we wanted for our wedding photos. Upon reading more about her on her website, we absolutely knew that we had to have Meg as our photographer. We could not be more thrilled with how our wedding photos came out. Meg captured everything so perfectly. We planned our wedding during Covid shutdowns, so decided to do a backyard wedding at my parents' house. We were a little unsure how my parents' backyard would look on camera, but Meg absolutely nailed it! We would recommend Meg in a heartbeat to a friend, and definitely would love to hire her for any future photography needs. We are still in awe over how beautiful our wedding photos are, and we know that we'll cherish them for years to come. Not only did our photos come out amazing, but Meg made our wedding extra special with all of the little touches along the way before, during, and after the wedding. All of the questionnaires and conversations we had beforehand made us comfortable knowing that we had made the right choice in hiring her. Things like calling the morning of the wedding to see if I wanted any coffee or breakfast, sending us a recording of our ceremony while we were on our honeymoon, and sending us the sneak peaks the night of the wedding after an incredibly long day were so incredibly thoughtful. Not only did we get the most amazing wedding photos out of the day, but we feel like we made a friend along the way

Megan is incredible to work with....I’ll hire her in a heart beat to second shoot for me again! She is professional & great with people. She takes direction really well, even in a high stress wedding situation. Her photos are beautiful and she has an eye for details! Her personality is so fun and brings light to all those around her!

As I take them, all of your photos are duplicated onto a backup memory card, so insurance is instantly created in case one memory card fails or breaks. As soon as I get home from your wedding, I download all of the images to a hard drive, and copy it to a second backup hard drive. By the time your photos are delivered via your final gallery, they exist in four places, so you can rest assured they'll always be kept safely.

I'm willing to travel to wherever your dream day is taking you! Travel costs are always included in my packages, so the number you see on your custom quote is the total balance you'll pay for your wedding photography. There will never be "shipping and handling" fees tacked on.

Thanks to the magic of the internet, this process is so easy! All I need from you to reserve your date is a signed contract and a $1,000 non-refundable retainer. Once we reach this point in the booking process and you're ready to make everything official, I'll send over links for you to complete both the contract and invoice online in just a few clicks.

Depending on how long your coverage is and how many activities and guests you're including, you'll receive anywhere between 300-900+ images. The more important thing is to trust that I'll capture and deliver all the important moments, instead of being hung up on an image quantity! Remember: more is not always better.

You'll receive your photos delivered in an online gallery, where it's super easy to download them and directly save them to your computer. I know you're so excited to see how the photos come out which is why I deliver a handful of sneak peeks to you within 24 hours of your day. Your final gallery will be in your hands within a short three weeks!

Typically, couples book me about 8-13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame. The farthest availability that's eligible to book with me is 18 months.

Yes! All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they're all keepers. Be sure to take a look at my portfolio for examples of what you can expect your images to look like!
