My name's Meg and I'm an elopement & intimate wedding photographer based in Sonoma County in Northern California. When my husband and I started planning our wedding day, we knew we wanted something very different than a traditional, big wedding day. We wanted an experience that was intimate, sentimental, and relaxed. And that's exactly what we created! We kept the traditions that made sense to us, and scrapped the rest without a shred of guilt.

You only get one wedding day; why not make it the most meaningful day possible? My mission as a wedding photographer is to help couples build a wedding day that is as meaningful as possible by learning to question the status quo, and challenging them to listen to their intuition.     Meg is truly one of a kind. I met Meg at my best friends wedding in 2022 and immediately fell in love with her. When I got engaged in September 2023, I knew I needed Meg there to capture my big day. When we began the process, it was so easy to talk to Meg about what was important to us, what we hoped to capture, and our concerns (my husband hates photos and was worried about everything!). Meg was kind, compassionate, and understanding and truly worked with both of us to alleviate worries and ensure that we were both captured at our very best. On the big day, Meg was part of the crew. She was calm, cool, relaxed, and absolutely perfect. She kept us on schedule and made sure we took all the photos we wanted to, she was fun and made sure we laughed and relaxed. She found the most beautiful spot for our first look and made sure we had a lot of time together just the two of us before chaos started! For the ceremony and our group shots - it is literally perfect. Meg perfectly captured the beauty of the Russian River and the joy the permeated our big day. I love our wedding shots so much because you can truly see how much love there is. I cannot say enough about Meg - she is a genius at what she does and makes magic with her ability to keep you relaxed on such a stressful day and capture your beauty and joy. She even stayed into the late night dancing to capture our outfit changes, which are some of my favorite shots! We loved our time getting to know Meg and having her there. I truly cannot recommend Meg enough - she will not disappoint!

    Meg did such an amazing job at our engagement session that we couldn't wait to work with her on our wedding day. Not only did she capture hundreds of special memories and details, but she also made sure we soaked up every beautiful moment of the day. Of all the investments on our wedding day, choosing Meg to be our photographer was our best one. Hands down.

    Having amazing photography was a major priority for our wedding so that's why we chose Meg! We're absolutely in love with both our engagement and wedding photos so we definitely made the right decision! From the first time we met her for our engagement shoot, she made us feel like we were old friends and it was so easy to work together. We had to reschedule our wedding due to Covid and she was incredibly gracious and was a great resource when lots of things were up in the air. She helped organize our timeline and make sure the photo sessions ran smoothly while making sure we captured everything we could have wanted and more. Meg instantly understood the vision we had for our wedding and was able to capture the most beautiful moments in unexpected ways. I love her eye for framing shots, it makes our wedding photos feel unique and special. The wedding day went by way too fast but we're incredibly happy that Meg so beautifully captured the memories we get to keep forever. When we got our wedding gallery back we pretty much went on tour to different friends and family to show them the whole gallery and everyone just impressed as we were. If you want to rest easy knowing that your wedding photography will live up to the wedding of your dreams... and then some... Meg is your girl!

    We were searching around on Google and Meg Cooper's website showed up. As soon as we saw her photos, we knew that she'd capture the aesthetic we wanted for our wedding photos. Upon reading more about her on her website, we absolutely knew that we had to have Meg as our photographer. We could not be more thrilled with how our wedding photos came out. Meg captured everything so perfectly. We planned our wedding during Covid shutdowns, so decided to do a backyard wedding at my parents' house. We were a little unsure how my parents' backyard would look on camera, but Meg absolutely nailed it! We would recommend Meg in a heartbeat to a friend, and definitely would love to hire her for any future photography needs. We are still in awe over how beautiful our wedding photos are, and we know that we'll cherish them for years to come. Not only did our photos come out amazing, but Meg made our wedding extra special with all of the little touches along the way before, during, and after the wedding. All of the questionnaires and conversations we had beforehand made us comfortable knowing that we had made the right choice in hiring her. Things like calling the morning of the wedding to see if I wanted any coffee or breakfast, sending us a recording of our ceremony while we were on our honeymoon, and sending us the sneak peaks the night of the wedding after an incredibly long day were so incredibly thoughtful. Not only did we get the most amazing wedding photos out of the day, but we feel like we made a friend along the way
