Me and my husband recently got married here at the Beverly Mansion. It was truly the perfect day! VENUE: Of course, Grand Tradition is absolutely beautiful (it is what we were initially drawn to). Their landscape is always luscious and VERY well-kept. Gorgeous bright green lawns and colorful flowers. You hardly even need any ceremony décor. This venue is pretty enough on its own. COORDINATION: We had a coordinator swap midway through planning, and ended up with Lisa. She was EXTRAORDINARY! She made the whole entire process such a breeze and easily answered any questions/concerns we had. Lisa was professional, organized and extremely friendly. We loved getting to work with her. She worked her butt off during the entire process, and it showed on our wedding day. Everything ran SO smooth. Lisa made sure to keep us on schedule and handled all the vendors, everything went without a hitch. STAFF: The entire Grand Tradition staff we had on our wedding day exceeded all my expectations. From the moment we arrived I almost felt like a celebrity. We were treated with smiles, enthusiasm and care. The whole team was professional and really knew how to put on a wedding. I had two bridal assistants, Mackenna and Kaitlyn, who were absolute angels. You both really made me feel at ease with our little chats. You were constantly checking in on me, fixing my dress, holding my drinks, getting me food and doing anything I needed throughout the entire day. FOOD: You never really know what you are going to get with wedding food, but I think Grand Tradition has some of the best. That had SO many options when picking out what we wanted on our buffet, it made it easy to accommodate all different tastes. Our guests are still telling us how amazing their food was. Everything was truly delicious! Overall, I would recommend this venue to anyone. If you want a fairytale, stress-free and perfect wedding, this is the place to go!

Encore is a full service facility with in house award winning catering, beverage service, DJ's, rental options as well as beautiful indoor and outdoor settings for both ceremonies and receptions.

Had my 60 person wedding here the other day, doing my best to write a thorough review. TL;DR: A great all-inclusive venue at an affordable price, if you aren't too hung up on the details. Small snags: We had requested our audio guestbook be put out at the cocktail hour, and we had brought some additional desserts of our own--both things were forgotten about until I pulled someone aside and reminded them. The requested gluten-free meal was given to the appropriate guest, then taken away(?), but given back again once we found our coordinator and let her know. The DJ (DJ BodyRawk) was ok; he took requests and shook the tip jar to play them, though I had already tipped him as part of the overall bill. I thought parking would be available, but we had to park in the available lot across the street, which we weren't told ahead of time. The venue can be a little hard to get a hold of; their automatic answering service is a bit weird and they don't leave messages when they call you back, but our coordinator Tanya was pretty good about calling/texting back. Keep in mind the bridal suite is very small (this was perfect for me). There was another event going on but it didn't affect my wedding in the slightest--people were very sweet and offered me congrats. The rehearsal was apparently self-guided; this was never communicated to us. These weren't huge issues for me, but if you're the type to NEED a totally perfect dream wedding, they are things to keep in mind. The Highlights: My guests LOVED the gorgeous fountain courtyard as well as the decor of the room, especially the light-up willow tree. 99% of our own decor (arch, pictures, Mr/Mrs signs, centerpieces, accent flower petals, party favors) were laid out as requested and looked lovely. As I said the food was excellent, they worked with me on gluten-free and vegan options at no extra charge (for under 5 people), the bartender truly had the patience of a saint and made fast, delicious drinks, and the photobooth from the venue was a HUGE hit and we have some really fun pictures. It was AWESOME having an all-inclusive venue, I had very little to worry or think about; they also have decor accents, lights, arches, and centerpieces available to rent if you'd like. And of course, the price was outstandingly affordable. The incredible price was the biggest draw for us and honestly it was worth it, I'd do it again. Overall, I'd recommend Encore for anyone who wants a great, fun wedding!

The Prado at Balboa Park is a National Historic Landmark which was originally built for the 1915-16 Panama-California Exposition. This two year festival was held in Balboa Park to promote San Diego and to celebrate the 1914 opening of the Panama Canal.

We had our wedding anniversary at the Prado and it was the dream celebration I wished I'd had for our wedding! FIrst off, the options we were offered for food choices was over the top. Everyone was so accomodating helping us with things. The day of, I felt like a Queen! I never lifted a finger- the staff always made sure I had a drink in my hand, and each time I got up from my chair, I came back to a seat with fresh a fresh napkin. The wait staff is so professional- they are there but not in your face. Everything we needed or wanted was handled for us. We have an event company, so have many contacts in the industry, and we chose to have our big party at the Prado because we knew we would be taken care of. We were not let down!

We hosted our daughter’s wedding last weekend. The venue is literally the perfect setting for a wedding and we received exuberant praise all evening for how beautifully magical everything was. I believe that our event was their largest to date (240), which meant that we had to split the ceremony and reception between the lower and upper gardens. Initially, we were concerned about having to make our guests trek from bottom to the top gardens (or take the provided shuttle), but this provided the guests with a charming walk through the gardens to gain an added element of beauty to the night. Marina, the event lead, was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. Having a different starting location from the ending can be tricky (especially with a lesser know entry way), but the detailed instructions and maps that Marina provided proved to be extremely helpful in guiding everyone.

Our venue was absolutely gorgeous and exactly how we hoped and envisioned it would be for our special evening. The partitions were a game changer and definitely an extra special touch. Our guests had a plethora of compliments about all the different facets and how well every inch is utilized within the space. Also, all of the staff was amazing, from the start of our tour to the breakdown at the end of the wedding. The bartenders were especially awesome. We are also so happy we went with the wedding coordinator through the venue, Jillian. She was very friendly but still professional. She kept the night in a good flow and executed the transitions excellently considering ceremony, cocktail hour and reception were all in essentially the same space and she had 100 people to work around. She also made sure to check on us throughout the evening to make sure everything was good for us and if we needed anything. Overall, our experience was amazing, the venue was stunning and the evening was everything we dreamed of. So incredibly happy with our choice and highly recommend using Flora for any event, not just a wedding.

I cannot stop raving about this venue and the whole event planning team. We had such an amazing experience having out wedding at the Horton Grand Hotel, it makes me want to do it all over again. The venue itself is beautiful and provides a perfect romantic setting for an outdoor wedding. Planning a wedding this year during COVID was nothing short of difficult but Jennifer and the whole event planning staff were so helpful and understanding throughout the whole planning process and really made planning this wedding and keeping our original date so easy. Jennifer constantly kept us updated on the current status of the hotel and was amazing at relaying information related to closures and events to us. She was knowledgeable about the restrictions and helped us plan for a day that was not only perfect in every way but also provided safety to our guests. It was a pleasure having our wedding at such a beautiful location and we were so pleased with how it all turned out and the responsiveness of the staff. There were a number of last minute challenges that made our planning stressful, it was worth every stress and the staff at the Horton Grand Hotel helped us through every set back allowing us to fully enjoy our day. Let me start by saying that the Secret Garden and the Epic Coordination team made all of my wedding dreams come true! I recently got married at the Secret Garden on April 28th, 2024. It truly was the most magical day of my life not just because I was marrying my soulmate, but because of the amazing coordination team that made our vision come to life. It was the first venue that my husband and I looked at, and we immediately fell in love with it. We loved that it was a beautiful indoor and outdoor garden venue, but we also loved how they offered an all-inclusive wedding package. They have a list of recommended vendors, including DJ, caterer, florist, photography/videography, and so much more. They give you the option to choose a vendor that they don't have on their recommended list, but we did everything through them and I wouldn't have had it any other way. They really offer the best-of-the-best professionals that know exactly what they're doing. A special shoutout to our coordinator, Laura, for being so organized and making sure everything was perfect on our big day! When it came to the day of the wedding, the entire timeline flowed seamlessly. None of the guests were left waiting around or wondering what was going on because the coordination team was so on top of everything! Everyone at our wedding, including myself and my husband, had an amazing time. Another thing to mention was that the communication with the Secret Garden and their team was beyond excellent! Any question I had, they answered promptly and made sure that the planning process was seamless. I had an enjoyable experience planning our wedding thanks to the support from the Secret Garden and Epic team! To conclude, my wedding day at the Secret Garden was literally the happiest day of our lives! It couldn't have been more perfect. I am not going to lie, there were a few times we were very nervous about booking with Trademark Venues at Green Gable. Our coordinator changed very early in the process, and we weren’t informed why. We did the food tasting and we were so disappointed with everything we tried. We then spoke to someone higher up who helped us customize our menu without getting extra costs. Day of the wedding, everything went absolutely perfect. Gina was a god send, paying attention to every detail. She handled everything and made sure the day was stress free for us. So many guests told us how delicious the food was, so we were thrilled as that was what we were most nervous about. And I can confirm that the cupcakes were sooooo good! Seriously could not be happier. Gina was amazing and the venue is absolutely breathtaking. We absolutely recommend booking Green Gables!!
