In 2015, Danny founded Joint Venture as a way to explore how food can bring people together beyond the confines of a restaurant’s four walls. JV is a departure from and reaction to the kitchens of his past. It's about collaborating with friends, reconnecting with nature, and working directly with farmers and producers. JV creates menus that are of the season and expressive of their surroundings. JV is ever-evolving.

Triple Crown Mobile Bar (lovingly named Donzie) is a 1993 double horse trailer that was tastefully renovated and refurbished to provide a unique addition to any special event. Donzie is named after my dad, who was a Korean war veteran; he taught me everything I know about how to make an hour happy. Donzie has three tap towers that can be customized for any occasion.

Preparing and serving slow smoked, expertly prepared barbecue is the greatest joy in my life. There are no short cuts in barbecue and that's what I love about it. We started Luongo Barbecue to glorify the Lord and grow the Kingdom of God. We use the business as a means to feed and serve the less fortunate in our community. After spending the last 30 years in Texas, 20 of those learning all things barbecue, we are relocating to central Pennsylvania in January 2025 to begin working with family on the next chapter of Luongo Barbecue.
