The historic Liriodendron mansion, built in 1898, was the summer residence of Dr. Howard A. Kelly, one of the four founding physicians of Johns Hopkins Hospital. Sold to Harford County in the late 1970s, the mansion now operates as a historic, cultural, educational, and recreational facility, managed by the nonprofit Liriodendron Foundation, Inc. Worsell Manor has an incredible history and a new life thanks to the loving restoration by its current owners. The estate was granted in 1683 and was a favored stopping ground for George Washington who enjoyed the parties thrown at this elegant and intimate property still nestled in natural woodlands and ag preserved lands.

When the building was initially constructed over a century ago, it was designed as a Presbyterian chapel in a completely different location. Originally a cow and poultry farm, the previous owners had run the property as a winery before Rick purchased it in May of 2017. After seeing the property, its luscious landscape, and the rustic charm of the original buildings, Rick had a vision. He saw the property transformed into a modern, chic space that maintained the history and character of the original farm. More importantly, he imagined bringing others’ visions to life with a beautiful and unique setting for weddings and private events.

Drumore Mill is a different world. It is nestled in a corner of the most rustic township in Amish Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The mill was built in 1752 as a sawmill and a grist mill. It sits in a hollow with 30 acres of tall cliffs and old trees to provide privacy, warmth, and natural beauties. There is a pristine creek that meanders through the property. The Fishing Creek supports native trout and other rare small fishes. The waterfall is adjacent to the buildings. There is a hiking trail within the property. There is wetland and much more. The combination of rustic setting, natural beauties, and historical features makes Drumore Mill amazingly beautiful. One has to see it to believe it.

Mill Creek Falls Retreat LLC began as Camp Donegal. A church camp owned by the Donegal Presbytery. They sold it to Alex and Amy Kauffman who sold it to the Lancaster Conservancy who subdivided it, took the woodland and preserved it for future generations to enjoy and sold off 32 acres and the Campground to Ronnie & Kelly Miller who own it today. Ronnie & Kelly are local people who live and work in the Airville area and hope to keep the camp going for all to enjoy; be it celebrating your wedding here or just staying the night as you pass through our beautiful piece of Pennsylvania paradise.
