We could not be more happy with how our wedding turned out at Mamaroneck Beach and Yacht Club. There are so many things that make this venue special. The service, the scenery, the food, and the run of show were all spectacular. The service. We received attentive and detailed service throughout the entire planning process. The director of events, Bob, answered all of our emails promptly and with detail. He is a wonderful man who goes above and beyond to make sure that we were thoroughly satisfied and feeling well taken care of. Bob was so fantastic at helping us come up with solutions to challenges that emerged at different stages of the planning process, and we couldn’t have pulled off the party we wanted without his patience, thoughtfulness, and support. On the day of, we were made to feel so special by all the staff at MBYC. We were given a personal “bridal attendant” who followed us around all day and attended to any needs we had that came up- like holding my bouquet during photos, getting us fresh drinks, grabbing some items from the bridal suite. All of our guests were telling us how impressed they were by the level of service and consideration they received from all the staff. Everyone was kind, professional, and in great spirits. The scenery. The venue space at MB&YC is truly RIGHT on the water! It is so incredibly gorgeous. The cocktail hour is on a beautiful deck over the water. The reception is in a ballroom with giant windows facing the water. The space does not need much more decoration to feel special. It is elegant and special, yet practical, home-y, and not at all stuffy. The food. We were so impressed by the food. Typically wedding food is basic and mass produced, but every dish at MB&YC felt special. We had so many friends after the wedding recounting their favorite bites throughout the night. The mac and cheese bites as well as the New York Strip Steak were definitely crowd pleasers. Not only was the food plentiful, but it was all also incredibly tasty. Bob and his staff also made sure to take care of our guests with dietary restrictions. Everyone ate well at our wedding. The run of show. Bob and his team were working very hard the evening of our wedding to ensure the schedule was kept and everything went as planned. Leading up to the event, Bob heard all of our concerns and desires, and he was able to execute a fabulous event the evening of our wedding. I was never once concerned that something was missing or forgotten, I trusted Bob and I knew he was going to make sure we had a perfect night. Overall, definitely book your wedding here at MB&YC! We can’t speak highly enough about our special day here!

We worked with Chantal and Sasha for our 8/2023 wedding and could not have had a better experience. Chantal was so responsive, helpful, creative, patient, and overall just truly pleasant to work with. She listened to what we wanted and helped make our day feel so unique and special to us. The entire staff made our dream wedding day come true and I could not recommend the venue more. Sasha was our wedding attendant and so sweet and attentive and patient. She's been working at the venue for 19 years and her experience was so helpful to have! We moved cocktail hour out on the patio for an additional fee which was also greatly appreciated by our guests who got to take amazing photos and enjoy the gardens before our dinner - highly recommend considering if it's in your budget! Again, really enjoyed working with the entire NYBG team and specifically with Chantal and Sasha. We will thrilled with the outcome!

HISTORY OF ROWSLEY The Scarsdale Woman's Club is headquartered in Rowsley, a 19th century manor house, set on almost four acres amid magnificent trees and plantings. The house was built in 1858 by William Bailey Lang, an English iron merchant. He fashioned it after a property in Derbyshire, England. Among the notable plantings on the site are the 470-year-old white oak tree and the massive rhododendron, both in the front of the property. Rowsley was named an Historic Landmark by the Village of Scarsdale in 1968, and in 2008, it was designated by the nation as a site on its National Register of Historic Places. On the day of, Art worked tirelessly to set up and break down everything seamlessly. The entire team contributed to making our wedding day special and worry-free. We're so grateful for their hard work and highly recommend the Scarsdale Woman's Club to any couple looking for a beautiful, welcoming venue with top-notch service. I can’t say it enough that The Rockleigh should be at the top of everyone’s venue list. They were our 2nd of 3rd venues we were touring and we never went to our 3rd venue tour. My words simply can’t portray how magical a wedding at The Rockleigh will feel. As soon as you walk in we were hit with a “wow” feeling. The venue is simply beautiful and left us and all our guests in awe. On top of a classy and beautiful venue, the service the staff provided is truly unforgettable. They will be at your side the entire day making sure you don’t have to lift a finger and ensure that your day goes as exactly as planned (and might I say better than you planned it to go). The food was also the most flavorful dishes I have ever had the privilege of enjoying. I hope this review helps other couples decide that The Rockleigh should be where they have their wedding. I could not have asked for a more perfect day and that was simply thanks to the amazing staff and service The Rockleigh provides. A Fairytale Wedding at Reid Castle. Everyone still raves about our wedding until now. We have searched far & high for a castle to have our wedding and Reid Castle was the only one that suited our needs; from a beautiful stain glassed chapel conveniently next door, a classic reception hall fit for royalty, gourmet food and excellent service. At first, I didn’t know how we were going to put it all together. Elena, Reid Castle Wedding Coordinator, gave us referrals and helped us plan our event from ceremony, cocktail hour to our reception. It was flawless. We had a wonderful florist, internationally renowned violinist, Daisy Jopling, pianist, saxophonist, DJ/MC and most importantly...our family. We are happy with where we chose. It was amazing and one of a kind! Hoping to celebrate more events at Reid Castle. Remember to enjoy your big day and leave the rest to the Pros.

I would highly recommend The Village Club at Lake Success to anyone! Our wedding was absolutely amazing. Barry & Amy were such an incredible team to work with. Barry will answer your questions very quickly and is so helpful throughout the entire process! Amy is great the day of the wedding to make sure the bride has everything she needs and that everything is running smoothly. They are so wonderful. They will work through any last minute issues with you! For example, we decided to move the ceremony from outside to inside because of the weather (pretty last minute) and Barry was very accommodating with his staff to make the move very seamless. He even put the Chuppah inside the ballroom to make the room even more special and beautiful than I ever could have imagined! The food is also AMAZING - we got so many compliments on the food from our friends and family. The ballroom is just a beautiful room and with the view of the lake, it's really an amazing venue. We cannot recommend Barry & Amy enough and this venue, and would tell everyone to get married here!

All the staffs here are very professional from the servers,bartenders the Maitre D’ Angie that was assigned with our event is amazing they are the best! Our even Manager Allie is very east to work with and made sure that we get the event we planned for. Our wedding was very beautiful and thanks to everyone in Astoria World Manor. Andd Oops they gave us very nice photos of our ceremony credits to their in-house photographer Alexander Smith! They are the best team! I can’t wait to host another event with them again.

We were able to utilize both the outside for our wedding ceremony and the inside for our reception, creating a seamless and enjoyable experience for our family and friends. My husband and I, decided to do buffet style for the dinner. The food served at the buffet was absolutely amazing. We also chose the premium open bar, the bartenders did an amazing job with the drinks. My husband and I wedded on July 26,2024, and to this day our family and friends still talk about how much fun they had and how delicious the food and drinks were. One of the best decisions I made for my wedding was booking Terrace On The Park! From our very first visit and up until our big day, they were super accommodating, responsive and very organized. We’re an international couple, that was looking for an affordable, large rooftop venue that could accommodate 140 guests. The TOTP team were thorough in explaining the contracts, allowed us as many venue visits as we wished and on the day of, provided white glove service! While it rained on our big day and plans needed to change, it was all done seamlessly. They provided a small buffet of fruit, salads, and drinks in the bridal suite while we waited for our pre-ceremony photoshoot to start and the guests to arrive. The food was amazing! We’re so glad we added in the sushi platter during the cocktail hour, the amuse bouche during dinner, (the lemon sorbet was delicious) and our signature cocktail (Lavender Gin Lemonade)! Our guests are still raving about how amazing the service, food, and drinks were. We even hired ND Cigars for our cocktail hour, which added a touch of class to our event. We brought our own DJ from home, but hired a few of their preferred vendors, ACM Event Group (equipment rental & MC) and Tino Photography, for which they were all a pleasure to work with! Just a few of the amazing staff we had the opportunity to work with at TOTP are: Ken Weintraub – Event Manager Nicole Barroca – Finalist Manager Jovanna Trapani – Operations Allison – Bridal Attendant PS... The morning after our wedding we met a couple staying at our hotel that also got married at Terrace On The Park, 41 years ago!!! The rose room is such a unique venue in LIC that offers incredible views of the city!! However, the liberty to transform the venue into any type of space is what I loved most - its a gorgeous blank canvas that lends itself to any theme. Erica has been so great to work with - unfortunately the wedding planning process can be filled with roadblocks and hurdles but the rose room has by far been the least complicated vendor to work with!

We had our wedding on 6/1/24 and look back on this day with so much joy, fondness, and gratitude. Working with Mary, George, and Susan was a true pleasure and we felt so comfortable with them and trusted them fully. Our ceremony was beautiful and held outdoors. The landscape and vibrant colors are truly stunning. A peacock even made an appearance during the first look outdoors! The grounds are absolutely stunning (especially in late Spring) and provide so many opportunities for amazing photos (fountain, bridge, stairs, courtyard). The venue itself is beautiful and spacious. The Victorian aesthetic enhances the beauty and romantic charm. The dance floor was a great size and the room fit our 120 guests very comfortably. The reception room is beautifully decorated, as well as the tables. The windows (with option to close curtains) provide great natural light you are having a daytime wedding. The service at Westbury Manor was outstanding from the day 1. All of our guests raved about the food at cocktail hour and could not believe they could choose among seven options for dinner. People kept saying how this was the best food they have had at a wedding and we can attest to this. Westbury Manor and their amazing staff helped make our day perfect and unforgettable. We highly recommend having your wedding here without reservation!

Skylark was the best possible venue we could have booked for our wedding reception, full stop. Throughout the booking process, they were always highly responsive and professional. They invited us back for drink tastings, for catering option tastings, and even once got my now-wife and her two friends a table on a crowded Saturday night without a reservation. All in all, the venue itself is amazing. We lucked out and got the rooftop for our cocktail hour which we extended an extra 45m 'til sunset and our guests loved taking photos. The main dance area / bar of Skylark is fashionable, chic, and has a certain vibe that meshed perfectly with what my wife and I were looking for. They also have excellent side-rooms for the wedding party to take a moment to decompress in a cool leather-bound corner apartment with its own bar, bathroom, and changing area. The were a few things that really caught my attention as we were touring for the first time: the downstairs entrance is dark, moody, and intentionally a bit industrial which really helps set a New York vibe. Upstairs, I noticed our tour guide thought the music was a touch too loud in one of the side-rooms, so he immediately tweaked the volume down a notch on their iPad music controls. The drinks were excellent (we opted for the Cherry Blossom Old Fashioned and the French 75 for our wedding cocktails). We also came back to sample the food options (we went for a cocktail-style dinner with phased courses throughout the night), & they were all incredibly delicious thanks to Skylark's partnership with Abigail Kirsch. Lastly, our coordinator was Phil Montana and he is one of the best parts of our experience. He has exceptional attention to detail, coordination skills, and a warm & empathetic personality. I would also like to recognize the staff who were all wonderful in taking care of us & our guests throughout the night. If you are on the fence, I would highly suggest a tour. When we booked, Skylark did not have a ton of reviews either on Zola or on The Knot, so this review is my way of encouraging any readers to give it a shot -- if you are looking for a fashionable, chic New York wedding experience, The Skylark really cannot be beat. I'm looking forward to returning periodically as regular customers as well!

We are so grateful to Church of the Ascension for allowing us to have our wedding ceremony and our reception. When we first saw the place, we fell in love. The space is absolutely beautiful with many amenities. Our goal was to have an intimate wedding with a luncheon to follow and everything turned out perfect. Our family was star struck over the beauty of the church itself and we couldn’t have picked a better place. There is so much potential in this space in terms of decoration (in which minimal is required). The church itself does have things available if you need them such as chairs, tables and some decorative glasses. We used the chairs available at the venue to maintain the aesthetic and they even provided some glasses when a few of ours broke! Overall this experience was a 10/10 and I would choose church of ascension again and again if I had a choice. The place is beautiful, affordable, everyone is extremely hospitable and they want the best for you. Lauren was helpful from the very beginning. She answered all our questions and checked in throughout the planning process to see if we needed any help. She was always available and had no problem communicating/working with our caterer, florist, and photographer. She has such a sweet soul and truly wants you to have the best. She was very accommodating for our rehearsal and was even helpful during the wedding itself! God bless you Lauren! Thank you for helping us have the wedding of our dreams.

From the moment we first visited Biagio's and The Terrace, we were both so impressed by the reception room as well as Athena, who happened to show us around the property. Athena also filled us in on all the details regarding a wedding there. She was nothing but attentive, responsive, and easy-to-work-with during the entire process. The venue itself exceeded our expectations - the huge dance floor, 2 full bars inside the main ballroom and the rooftop cocktail hour were all key in bringing the party together! The food is top notch, which was our absolute number 1 priority. Everything went so smoothly, from scheduling our first visit, to picking up the leftover cake and other items we left behind after the wedding. You can tell this is a family-run business, as each and every person we interacted with was so helpful and genuine. They clearly take a lot of pride in making couples' wedding days truly special. Do yourself a favor and go book a visit to see Biagio's!

Last month we hosted our 125 person wedding at the Wythe Hotel in our local Brooklyn. We could not have asked for a more beautiful city venue or a more helpful team. Our sales director JD and our event coordinator Cassie are such pros-- both veterans of the NYC wedding industry-- and they helped make the day a real breeze. At the Wythe you really get what you pay for. We had a Saturday "off-season" wedding so the F&B minimums were high but easily met with our guest count. Our 395 a head included a premium open bar, multiple signature cocktails, passed hors d'oeuvres, a market station, a plated family style meal, coffee service, a wedding cake, all hospitality staff, coat check, A/V team, and hotel discounts. If we hadn't wanted to add extra florals and decor, the space truly would've been gorgeous bare. The Wythe team helped us manage the rest of our vendors and recommended some if we needed. We stayed onsite in one of their giant suites, which was perfect for getting ready and for first look photos. Cannot recommend this vendor enough!!
