I am in AWE. Number 1, having a wedding coordinator is a must. And Natalie was amazing!! She took care of everything, from planning meetings, final meetings, rehearsal, day of timing and keeping everything on track. She is marvelous. This venue is mostly all included, DJ, catering, table settings, center pieces. And I love that you can do the ceremony and reception all in once place. It has the coziest mountain feeling to it while still being extremely classy. Food tastes amazing, the DJ service is very personalized - and they help you the whole entire way. You get this giant planning book once you officially book & it really helps. Anytime we had random concerns or questions we would just email them and be contacted back within the same day. The price fully depends on how many guests you plan on having, we had a 53 person wedding and it was VERY affordable for an all included place. They also do all your day of set up including any decor you choose to provide at the rehearsal! You also get access to the bridal / groom suites a few hours before the ceremony. Wedgewood made the planning actually fun and enjoyable! I was stress feee the entire day! Lots of adorable places for photos too, especially in the fall with all the colors. We absolutely love this venue! The intimate space nestled in the forest is absolutely perfect for events 100 guests or under, regardless of the season the tall pines, and rock features make for a beautiful landscape. The venue is affordable but gives a very exclusive boutique feeling. Shalece is so very accommodating to vendors and guests, and you can tell they really enjoy helping their clients have an amazing wedding day!

We got married at Wedgewood Black Forest on 9/21, and the entire day-of team went above and beyond to make it such a stress-free day. The ease of having so many things in-house, while also having the flexibility to choose your own vendors if needed, was fantastic. The venue itself is stunning, and it was much more affordable compared to other comparable spots. The staff was absolutely amazing. A special shout-out to Lindsey and Kaylee – they made our day so special! Wedgewood made things stress-free by setting everything up so we could focus on getting ready and taking photos. They were incredibly accommodating whenever we needed something, and the food and drinks were amazing. We would highly recommend this venue to any couples looking. The amazing team working there truly makes everything worth it.

For a larger wedding, the event tent is available from June to early fall. The tent seats up to 250 guests, and you will have access to the garden. My husband and I were looking for a spot to host our wedding reception. Sara at Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame was so professional and easy to work with. As we were planning our wedding during the Coronavirus, many plans had to get changed, but we were able to utilize the outdoor space and the big white tent. The outdoor space was beautiful, the garden was a fun space for guests to walk around, the lighting inside the tent was dreamy, and there was plenty of space to eat, toast, and dance. I highly recommend this space for any wedding.

THE GOOD STUFF The Grange fit our needs really well for a 50 person baby shower. With the setup we chose, the room felt full but not crowded and allowed for ample room for people to move around. The fireplace added a nice atmosphere without making the room hot. The bathrooms and space were clean when we arrived. The Grange offers several table options which made it super easy for us to setup a kids zone, silent trivia area, and guest tables. Given that tables and chairs are included in the rental fee, it is fairly priced. A FEW BUMMERS While we wanted to have the garage doors open for an open-air feeling, it seemed that even the smallest bit of wind would knock over all of our decorations. Because we couldn't have the garage doors open, we did confine everything to indoors which changed our plans a bit with outdoor yard games as it wasn't super intuitive to go outside to the covered patio. We also would have liked to have been asked about the signage The Grange put outside. We had a co-ed baby shower but when we pulled up, the sign only listed the mother-to-be's name. Not a huge deal, but definitely could have been avoided. IMPORTANT CONSIDERATIONS A few things to note that may be important to you: 1. All setup, teardown, and cleaning is YOUR responsibility. So, if you don't want to haul tables and chairs, take out the trash, and mop the floor, this venue is not for you. (Note: We were made well aware of this prior to booking so it isn't a surprise but definitely a big consideration as it cuts into your rental time.) 2. The microphone works well for the main room but is very difficult to hear in the "back area" where the restrooms and food counters are. 3. When working on your budget, be sure to factor in the cost of getting event insurance as this is required and is an additional cost. (Again, we were made aware of this in advance so it wasn't a surprise.) 4. No table coverings/linens/tablecloths are provided so be sure you factor this into planning and your budget.

Don and Toni are awesome people and hosts. They communicate extremely well and appreciate when you do the same. The space is absolutely incredible. Our family group of 20 didn’t leave the property once during our five day stay. The lodge is overly spacious with amazing views of Pikes Peak in the distance and the wedding space was perfect for our group (but could easily have accommodated larger groups). I would highly recommend TihsreeD for anyone looking for a remote mountain getaway, and we hope to be able to visit again soon!

We could not have imagined a better venue for our wedding! Before committing to Sanctuary as our venue, we talked with several friends who had either been married there or had family married there and they all had nothing but positive things to say, so we knew we were in good hands.The entire staff was incredible- our wedding guests have continued to rave about the views, food, and service even two months after our wedding (which says a lot, given that food at weddings is typically pretty forgettable). Julie, our coordinator, was absolutely the reason our day went smoothly and was completely stress-free. Throughout the planning process, she provided reminders of upcoming deadlines, walked us through what to expect the week and day of our wedding and on our wedding day kept us on track with our timeline all while giving us any and all support we needed and assuring us how perfect our day would be (which is was). Finding your perfect venue for your perfect day is no easy task, and I had the hardest time finding a venue that combined my husband's rustic taste with my own elegant style. That is, until we found Villa Parker! It had everything we wanted, it was the perfect size for our 70 guest wedding (but we had room for much more than that) and it came with all the beautiful additions and inclusions we wanted! Including the best day-of coordinator a girl can ask for. Communication and organization was a breeze and Villa Parker really takes the guesswork out of a lot of things involving wedding planning! Best of all? They are pet-friendly! So we were able to bring our sweet pup into the mix along with a local rescue to raise money for a non-profit organization! Two puppies were adopted at our wedding thanks to the wonderful people at Villa Parker. This is one gorgeous venue to remember.

The Mansion was the perfect venue for us- it gave us the flexibility of an indoor or outdoor ceremony, with plenty of space to have each part of our day in a separate area. When it snowed last minute on our Spring wedding, they were able to reconfigure to move everything inside. It is naturally beautiful so it doesn't need a lot in the way of decor. Plus, it naturally comes with extended seating options such as the living room.

This venue allowed us the space to create a 70s basement. We loved being able to change the ceiling lighting. Bekkah our coordinator was the first person we talked to. The groom said yes to the venue, specifically for the groom’s suit. They had a great time in there before the wedding. Bekkah was on board with every idea we had, she truly allowed me to feel like I had the freedom to run with my ideas. She was so helpful with the set-up of the wedding and her presence really put everyone at ease. She paid attention to our color scheme and it was awesome to get the chair upgrade. She was organized with some great layouts and spread sheets that were even colored coded using the colors of the wedding! Being out of state and a majority of our meetings happening through zoom calls, she made sure I was always involved. Mckiah the banquet captain, seemed to be right there every time we needed anything. She was very attentive, always keeping our drinks full. The serving staff worked quickly and quietly. They were very efficient and discreet. The bartender was everyone’s favorite person. He was very kind by expressing his appreciation for being included with the “tiki” theme. He remembered people drinks and got them ready before they asked. The guard was also just a pleasant person to have around. He was approachable and seemed to enjoy talking to everyone. My brother had his wedding at the Ken Carl location in December of 2022 so we knew the food was going to be good. The family and guests had a lot of dietary restrictions. The vegan/gf peppers were fantastic and having so many salad options was a great way to help accommodate everyone’s dietary needs. The tortellini and the prime rib were tied for everyone’s favorite. However, as there was no prime rib left over, I think it has to be the winner. Bret and Chris, the chefs, did not disappoint. Elizabeth the DJ, truly set the vibe for our 70’s wedding. She found every specific song we asked and check in on us all night. She always made sure we were ready to move on to the next thing and double check to make sure we were all on the same page. Once Tom from Love & Lense, heard about our wedding theme, he was completely on board. Chelsea stopped by the venue early, where she took pictures of each individual table decoration because each setup was different. They were great to have around all evening. They paid attention to my Pinterest board and made sure to incorporate pictures that I had asked for. We won a portrait during the food tasting extravaganza, which was very exciting. I can’t wait to see how all the pictures turn out.

In that time we catered thousands of weddings. The expectations among a some groups of wedding families simply became impossible to meet. We had the most wonderful wedding here on 9/10! It was the perfect blend of a few classic traditions and a laid back space that all of our guests raved about. Dan was great to work with from the start, and helped day-of to make sure our event ran smoothly. He and all the awesome staff nailed the small details and great service. We chose one of the cocktail style menus and the food was delicious, plus all of the Colorado beers and spirits were a hit with guests. If you're looking for a versatile and really reasonably priced venue, I would highly recommend choosing 2 Penguins.

First off, the location is beautiful and so is the inside. Lots of different types of venues within the building so super customizable. I was there for a holiday party on 12/2/22 and was so impressed. I got to see each space they had and it was beautifully decorated. Great staff, very clean (including the bathrooms) and I would definitely go back to any event being held there or highly considerate for my own event in the future!

Thank you so much to Mountain Crust and their crew for being so amazing. We hosted a Saturday wedding here in late June and it was absolutely stunning. There is enough shade in the lawn to make a big difference in the temp, and when it started to rain during dinner the staff moved our whole party (around 80 people) inside in just a few minutes. Everything turned out really well, and the venue is just gorgeous. Nico, the venue manager, was our day-of coordinator, and while there were a couple of snags (no PA announcements being made throughout the event, and our wedding cake was cut and served before we got to see it) most everything went really smoothly and felt organized. Communication was good and the staff were incredible day-of. We had so much fun and are so grateful to have found this venue!

Overall, I would recommend Evergreen Red Barn to any couple looking to get married. They worked with us and worked with our timeline. They even let us set up our decorations the day before the wedding which was incredible and helpful! All of the other venues that we toured did not allow for that at all. They answered all of my crazy questions, as well as provided the tables & chairs set up, tablecloths (you have to rent them but they are through the venue & not a third party), as well as a ton of decorations that are already up! We only had to provide center pieces and flowers for the arbor. However, what we struggled with was they went through 3 different property managers during the 9 months between our initial appointment and the actual wedding date. So, as I am sure you can imagine, that led to quite a bit of confusion and changing of plans. Being told one thing just for the next person to tell us something different. Additionally, it wasn't always communicated to us that there was a change in managers. Last but not least, when we were setting up we had to remove decorations leftover from a previous wedding. It wasn't that big of a deal, but for the price of the venue it should have already been taken care of before we got there. Overall, our wedding day was the dream come true and everything that we could have hoped for!

What a lovely space! I was here recently for a meeting and it was such a great space - could absolutely picture a stunning wedding taking place here. Elevated spaces, hotel rooms, and super yummy food all in the same place - talk about a one stop shop. The food we had for the meeting was fantastic and the service was flawless, so I can only imagine what it would be like for a wedding. The overall look of the space is stunning and you can tell that a lot of care and attention goes into the design and into making the space feel luxury and unique and still cozy at the same time!!

Evergreen Lake House was a great wedding venue for our special day. The staff was prompt in their communication, making the planning process smooth and easy. The venue itself is gorgeous. One thing to note is that long veils can catch on the deck, so keep that in mind. Overall, the quality of Evergreen Lake House's work and the value they provide is good. I would recommend this venue to any couple looking for a beautiful, lakeside wedding location.

My husband and I have been visiting the Botanic Gardens for years and it was the only venue we wanted for our wedding day. The wedding day was everything we had hoped for and many of our guests commented afterward how beautiful it was. We also knew ahead of time that we wanted an intimate wedding and the Woodland Mosaic and Solarium as our location. The weather was fairly warm on our date but our guests didn't feel it because the venue has lots of shade with the solarium and trees. It also felt like a more secluded space, which is something that we wanted. Our wedding date was a very popular Saturday in June, and I believe 5 other weddings were taking place at the same time! Because our location felt so private, we hardly noticed. The only exception being the "golden hour" for photography, where we were taking photos in the Japanese garden and carefully maneuvering around other couples also taking photos. If you want to be the only bride in sight, keep this in mind. We didn't care though. Because we had such a small wedding (40 people), we chose not to have a wedding planner or day-of coordinator. I would recommend one for this venue if you have a larger group or if you don't have a lot of helping hands. We had a lot of help from our families on the day of the event - helping set up things like the gifts/card table and brining in liquor in coolers. We also carried out a lot of items ourselves at the end of the night. This isn't a complaint from our end, as we expected to do some of the coordination ourselves. Just keep in mind that if you don't want to have to do anything on your wedding day, be sure to hire someone for that role. Emily was great at coordinating from the Botanic Gardens side. She gave us helpful information when needed, responded quickly, and we also met her about a month in advance to walk through the site, going over details on things like chairs and tables. In addition, you get an hour walkthrough during the day before your event. On the day of, I booked a touch-up room (included in the price). They have a limited catering list and we were happy to use Serendipity Catering for our food, bartenders, service staff, desserts and floral, which made coordinating everything a lot easier! I highly recommend working with Brie and Raven. Another perk of booking this venue is that you can bring in your own alcohol, which can save money. Negatively, it was a bit of work for our families to haul all of this in and out while in formalwear. Depending on which space you book, you are also only able to have acoustic music. We wanted (and hired) a string quartet, so this worked for us. However, if you want to dance the night away with a DJ, you would need to book elsewhere for the reception or book their indoor ballroom. The best surprise for us was a free couples membership for a year to the Botanic Gardens. We are so excited to have the opportunity to spend more time here, enjoying their many event offerings throughout the year. We can't wait to return year after year!

The DAC moved to it’s current location in 1892 and has expanded in the years since to now occupy the entire city block. We had our wedding (90 people) at the Denver Athletic Club in September 2024 and had the absolute best experience! We were lucky to work with the amazing Brooke for over a year in planning and coordinating our wedding, and we were so grateful for the beautiful ballroom as a backup reception location when the weather decided to do CO weather things. We were still able to have our ceremony and cocktail hour on the roofdeck, which was one of the main reasons we picked the DAC (super cool skyline views). The bowling alley afterparty was also a hit with guests! Another great perk of the DAC is how many spaces there are for getting ready, which made hair and makeup convenient and kept the groom and groomsmen on a different floor until pictures. Food and service were great too, it was nice having catering included so we didn't have to involve and coordinate outside food & bev.

I attended a rehearsal dinner and welcome party at Rooftop1630 this summer and what a hidden gem!! The space itself is gorgeous, you get to choose your vendors (my niece got to customize everything!) and the staff did a great job turning the space over from a smaller crew for the formal rehearsal dinner into a more open welcome party for all wedding guests. The gardens were all blooming too; an urban garden for sure!!

Christian was wonderful at communicating, and welcomed our need to have digital tours since we lived out of state. I was always so busy and horrible at answering emails, but he always made sure things were done by deadlines. The venue was beautiful, and the food was wonderful. Our wedding was around 40 people, and just the main floor worked beautifully! We did all of the decorations and cake ourselves, and the venue was perfect while working with us and making sure we had everything set up quickly and the way we wanted it.
