I have been a photographer for 8 years. Throughout my time as a photographer I’ve captured clothing, models, and memories. I shifted from corporate shootings to families and weddings because it gave me this warm fuzzy feeling when I edited my couples and families photos. Don’t be afraid to reach out to me and ask about my photography style, my editing style, or my favorite restaurant! I highly recommend scheduling a free consulting session!

Grace shot our engagement and wedding and was so easy to work with! She was so flexible and worked hard to make sure my husband and I didn’t feel too awkward taking professional photographs for the the first time. Her photo style and editing is beautiful and true and we received so many complements for our engagement shoot. 12/10 would recommend!

Candance Marie Photography

  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $2,000
  • Serves Palmer, AK

Real Connections. Raw Emotions. Candid Moments.

These are the values behind what we do. These three words are the heart and soul of our work and everything we do is based around adventure and authenticity. When you hire us, you are hiring photographers who truly care about the experience you will have on your day. We don’t mind getting a little dirty or wet. We don’t mind staying until after dark to get the perfect shot. We don’t mind the hikes, or the time in-between each event. We are truly there for you and to tell the story of your day exactly as it happens

We are absolutely thrilled with our decision to book Candance as our wedding photographer. Initially, we almost missed the chance to work with her, but after an unexpected cancellation with our previous photographer, we reached out to Candance. She graciously adjusted her schedule and was able to accommodate our engagement shoot within a week of our request. Working with Candance and her husband Corey was an absolute delight. Candance is incredibly sweet, professional, and brought a wealth of creative ideas for poses and backgrounds. Her calming presence was a blessing on our busy wedding day. The photos we’ve received so far are some of our all-time favorites. Candance was, without a doubt, the best vendor we worked with throughout our wedding planning process. We wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone in need of a photographer. You will not regret booking her!

Hello lovely! Let me introduce myself—I’m Sarah. Welcome to my little creative space—I hope you love it here & make yourself at home. My goal as your photographer is to put you at ease and therefore be able to capture your moments authentically and beautifully. As a film and digital photographer ("hybrid" if you will!), I take a big step back to capture your memories with intention, love, and honesty - my promise to you, is to treat your day as if it were my own. Film is my favorite medium to capture wedding days on, as I feel it brings back a level of authenticity, imperfection, and refined elegance that is irreplaceable.

I can’t say enough great things about Sarah! She’s a great photographer, but if you are looking for the type of photog to be your ride or die on your wedding day. She’s your girl. Sarah went above and beyond to help my husband and I in what can only be described as a spiral of unfortunate events. We were set to be married in December in Ohio when 11 days from our big day our venue burnt down. Very long story short..we decided to take our family and some of our friends down to the smoky mountains to get eloped to keep our original date because that’s where we got engaged. Sarah was my guardian angel. In less then 10 days She found us a open venue that would give us a time slot for a small ceremony! She put out posts to locals to help me find a hair/makeup team and a videographer on a very limited timeline. She calmed me down when two hair/makeup teams canceled on me the day before and the day of. Not to mention she fought crazy weather (that day the south had the biggest line of tornadoes in history) and literally kept me laughing through every single let down. Her, my best friend and I rode out the craziness of the day together. Most of all through hell and high water..she was there to capture what was left of my original wedding day. So down the road I could have memories to show my kids. And she’s agreed to continue to capture the moments this year at our redo wedding in Ohio. She’s literally the best. She’s not just my photog. She’s a forever kind of friend!

Lerina Winter Photo

5.0

  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $4,750
  • Serves Palmer, AK for additional fees

Welcome. Since 2011, Lerina has been photographing weddings of all shape and sizes. She has traveled throughout the country and abroad documenting love stories and the events that surround the most magical day in a couple's life. Today she calls both the desert and the coast home but feels comfortable anywhere a camera is slung around her neck, shooting on her medium of choice – film. Her work has been published and featured by Condé Nast Traveler, SELF Magazine, Green Wedding Shoes, Wedding Chicks, more.

We hired Lerina for our 2021 wedding and she stuck with us through pandemic reschedules with such empathy. We were both uncomfortable being in front of the camera but she was so easy to work with and ensured things went as quickly as possible for us. It was so helpful to have the engagement shoot included so that we could see what we'd be in for on the big day. The engagement photos came quickly and were beautiful. On our Wedding day Lerina and her team were early, and helped keep things moving. The preview photos came within a week and were stunning. A few weeks later we got the full set and were blown a way. She captured all of the moments we wanted perfectly. I would recommend Lerina to anyone who is looking for a wedding photographer, or franky any professional photos!

Love knows no bounds. Every person is deserving of love and deserving of having it captured perfectly. I believe in equality. I believe in living simply and loving deeply. I believe that dogs are the best travel buddies and that plants make the world better and prettier. I believe that perfectly planned photos are awesome, but so is the candid photo of your 90 year old grandmother drinking whiskey with your friends. Your photos are about you, not me. I won't tell you what to do or how to live your best day. What I will tell you is where the best light is, what to expect during your wedding and always get your "good side."

Awarded Best of Zola
Bethany Bloem Photography was the perfect choice for our vow renewal. From the very beginning, Bethany and her team were super attentive, helpful, and friendly - always quick to respond to our questions and provide guidance throughout the planning process. It was in Yosemite National Park, they expertly directed us into beautiful poses and made the most of the stunning location, capturing perfection in every shot. The final photos were absolutely awesome and worth every penny - we are thrilled with how they documented our special day. Bethany Bloem Photography is simply the best and we highly recommend them to any couple looking for an amazing wedding photography experience.

A Charleston Wedding Photographer with a fierce love for storytelling, fostering memories and capturing those moments that you will want to treasure forever. I get to tell your story. And, I think that’s pretty cool. I love traveling everywhere and anywhere, talking with my hands, buying plants (and attempting to keep them alive), and spending as much time as I can with my loved ones. I have lived in Boston, Paris, and New York City, and am now lucky enough to call Charleston home, while also still traveling the world for my clients. You can usually find me on my back porch in downtown Charleston, right next to my favorite little park.

tldr: Jessica is amazing and I don’t think you can go wrong with her if this is the style of photos you like I had a lot of difficulty picking a photographer as I’m pretty picky with photos. I knew I wanted something bright and light, with kind of a whimsical or ethereal vibe, but it was really hard finding the style until I came across the “fine art” style. Jessica’s name came up while researching this style and I decided to reach out to her among a few other fine art photographers. I definitely hoped talks would go well with Jessica as the others I contacted ended up either not responding or were wildly out of my budget. Pre-Planning: Jessica was wonderful throughout this process. She promptly responded to my emails and answered questions clearly. I never felt like I was left in the dark for any part of the process. When I sent her the timeline of the ceremony/reception, she quickly came up with a timeline to slot in all the photos to be taken ahead of time at the location (We had access to the venue for a little over an hour prior to the ceremony). She also asked for a list of family photos that we wanted to take. This made it very easy at the wedding as she could call out people’s name to make sure everyone that was supposed to be in the pictures, were in the pictures. Jessica also sent over a list of ideas for detail shots and explained she could do this ahead of time. We didn’t want extra pictures of these and decided against it, however, I still thought it was very thoughtful of her to offer. Wedding Day: I loved her energy at the wedding. She was very calm and felt very competent. She directed my husband and I throughout the pictures, showing us poses etc. During family and wedding party photos, even though we had many bodies to fit in the frame in quite a few pictures, she led us through them with ease and the entire experience was very stress free (or as stress free as can be at a wedding lol). The venue was quite dim at specific locations, but the final results did not reflect that at all. The pictures were bright and did not look like they were taken in the dark at all. (This is a little off topic but I loved the little apron with pockets she wore for her equipment. So cute) I’m not sure when Jessica had the time, but there were pictures around the venue which were so beautiful. I definitely feel like the day was captured through the pictures. Post Wedding: Jessica sent us a sneak peak 2 days after the wedding containing 23 pictures. They turned out great and were beautiful. You can see examples on her website so I won’t elaborate, but they really are that good. The full gallery was sent almost a month after the wedding (minus 2 days) with instructions on purchasing prints or an album attached. The full download contained 650ish files, including the sneak peek pictures. Half of which were black and white, so this matched up pretty perfectly with Jessica’s estimation of the amount of photos when we spoke in the pre-planning stage.

April Garon Photography

5.0

  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $2,700
  • Serves Palmer, AK for additional fees

I’ve been a photographer for over 15 years. My journey started at Mississippi School of the Arts where I first saw the magic of a photo develop in a darkroom! I have a bachelor's degree in Photojournalism from Southern Miss and worked as a professional marketing photographer for 6 years before moving on full-time to wedding photography. That important step has proven fruitful as my passion for capturing real moments has been fulfilled by capturing the magic of loving couples. Now after 2 years of booking my calendar up and meeting with beautiful people from all over the southeast, I can reliably say my expertise is serving a higher purpose.

April was so easy to work with! My wife and I had a short engagement so we had to find vendors fast. April was super accommodating and able to work with us through all the steps of engagement and the wedding. She’s professional, timely, understanding, and incredibly friendly. I would recommend her without reservation!
