They have an easy to use planning form where you can put song requests and they even give song suggestions for all the different dances and special moments for your big day. Our MC, Anthony, was there for us from day one and helped in all of our planning. At our one month out meeting, Anthony sat with us and went over every detail. He’s enthusiastic and clearly loves what he does. This enthusiasm showed the night of the wedding as he got everyone on their feet and dancing all night long! Next up is Billy, our fantastic DJ! He clearly knew how to read the room and get the party started. He has lots of experience and it shows as he started with the perfect “wedding” songs to get people up and moving. We went into the wedding with zero playlists and just told him to play whatever - every song was perfect. He acted as emcee for the entire night, and spent time with us and our wedding planners beforehand to plan out different moments (e.g. first dance, couple introduction, midnight toast) so each was executed exactly as dreamed. Marcus made our wedding so much better with his presence. My partner and I said to each other more than once that we were so grateful for him. Beyond the emceeing, he meticulously crafted a set list for the most incredible and memorable dance party. I was so impressed by the depth of his musical knowledge! My guests, partner, and I danced the entire set list, and were overjoyed to hear specific song requests we had seamlessly mixed into the overall disco / pop / dance vibe we wanted. Many of my friends love to dance and I haven't seen them bust out their moves in ages. I hugged so many loved ones who thanked me for giving them this night, saying that they were having the best time. There are so many moments of the night I'll never forget, and it was such a hit in no small part because of Marcus' involvement. “Let’s start with “WOW!” We had a music festival themed wedding with four bands so music was a critical piece of our wedding weekend and the standards were high. We interviewed over 20 bands from the NYC area and decided to go with Vitamin M after really vibing with their band leader, JJ. And boy are we glad we did! JJ worked with us to curate the perfect performance for us and our guests. He was able to balance dance songs and classics alongside some custom requests that went off the beaten path of most traditional weddings from the likes of The Band, Talking Heads and The Clash. He even helped us surprise our guests with a singing introduction of the bride and groom. He took time to get to know us and was always happy to answer any questions we had. This was not a cookie cutter wedding band performance. This is a group of truly talented professional musicians putting on a real show. Our guests and even our vendors are still telling us today, months later, that this was the best wedding band that they’ve ever seen. We are extremely happy with our decision to hire Vitamin M for our wedding. No diggity, no doubt.”

I love that when you book this band, you know exactly who will be performing that day, unlike other large scale band/groups that sub band members in/out and you don’t know the exact sound you’re going to get (in my opinion-risky). They seem to be all best friends, just having soo much fun together, and their energy, vibe and incredible sound get everyone on the dance floor all night long. “Choosing Just the Melody Band was hands down the best decision we made for the entire wedding! Melody and Edvin (and the whole band!) are so talented, not to mention so versatile! My fiance and his family are from Mexico and my family is from the US, so we wanted to be able to dance to US wedding classics and early 2000s throwbacks as well as Latin pop, Shakira, and lots of traditional Mexican music and cumbia! We went into our vendor search having no expectation that we’d find a band that could do ALL of that — but we lucked out finding Just the Melody! They can do it all, and SO well! Our wedding guests were on the dance floor until 1am! They also learned our first dance song for us and performed it almost better than the original :) Above all, they were so kind and accommodating and fun to work with and they cared so much about making sure the evening went exactly how we wanted it to go. We cannot recommend this incredible band enough”

“The first time I met Tony I knew he was going to be our DJ. He was so easy to talk to, and aside from that out of all the DJs we met with he was the only one that asked us what we wanted and what kind of music we had in mind. Hiring Tony was by far THE BEST decision we have ever made. Our dance floor was packed all night, and even the event staff were dancing throughout the night because he was that good. Everyone I talk to raves about how much fun they had and how awesome he was. Not only will he make sure the music is great and your dance floor is on fire, but he actually cares about what you and your significant other want. The week before our wedding so many vendors were reaching out to us about all the things that needed to be finalized; but when we met with Tony that Tuesday before our wedding he was such a breath of fresh air. After that meeting my finance and I were like okay we are ready, and we know we are going to have fun. Not only is Tony himself an amazing DJ and person but so are the other members of his team.
