We did a lot of research into DJs during the planning process as we knew it was an important role and could mean the difference between a fun wedding and an awkward one. Aside from reception music, John covered music at the ceremony and cocktail hour, microphones and sound for us and our officiant, lighting for our reception, and a custom monogram that turned out amazing. John brought along Guy as his assistant/our second DJ and he was amazing as well. I received so many compliments on the music from my guests, and he kept them dancing for hours! But the one thing Ed did that I was most impressed with and touched by, was him picking the perfect next song when my husband was dancing with his daughter. DJ Chuck absolutely exceeded our hopes & expectations & created a more perfect atmosphere than what we even had hoped for for our music. We admittedly had a notable list of must plays & "play if possible" songs, with some comments about certain parts of the song we wanted to get played or any specific announcements we wanted DJ Chuck to do with a certain song, and he got everything right, transitioned each song perfectly & maintained the integrity of each song, which is exactly what we wanted from our DJ (vs. a lot of remixing with quick transitions). The process of selecting MyDeeJay and using their online portal for our music selections was seamless & straightforward.
