I am small town guy who got hooked on photography from a photo class I took in high school. Fast forward a few years a college professor asked if I wanted to photograph a colleague's wedding and that was it, I was hooked. I loved the honest emotions, the story telling, and the sincere connection with people. Fast forward again, I have now developed an approach to a wedding where I let the day happen naturally so I can capture all of the candid moments and genuine emotions.

“I really cannot recommend Dan enough! As soon as I saw his website I knew I wanted him to shoot our wedding. From the beginning, he was open and communicative. He answered all my questions and sat down with us to talk us through what our day would look like. I wasn't living in the area for the first few months of wedding planning, and he was so accommodating and knowledgable about Philly and how to plan out everything so we could get great shots around the city, which really put me at ease! On the day, Dan was such a pleasure to be around. From the very beginning of the morning all through the last dance, he made everyone laugh and really helped us feel comfortable and at ease. Even when some family tensions started to arise, he was able to navigate everything with poise and grace and kept things running smoothly. He's funny and kind and a great ally to have in your corner! And of course THE PICTURES!! They're gorgeous. Incredible. Oh my gosh, Dan is so talented. It was a gray and rainy December day in Philadelphia. The weather was everything I feared. But somehow Dan took the rain and turned it into the most magical, fairy-tale-esque photos I've ever seen. He captured the entire day so beautifully and authentically. Looking back at our photos, I can feel the jittery excitement of the morning, the absolute love of our ceremony, and the joy of our reception. Nothing felt forced or awkward or posed with Dan. Your wedding day is both a marathon and a sprint, and it goes by in a blur. There were moments that I barely even noticed happening! But Dan noticed and was able to capture them so beautifully and genuinely. We are so, so, so in love with Dan's work. His photos are all over our house and every time I look at them I am amazed by them. Apart from deciding to marry my husband, picking Dan as our photographer was the easiest and best choice I made in the whole wedding planning process. He really is an incredible person and photographer, and I recommend him to any and every bride in the Philadelphia area!!”

(You know the sos button on your phone… yeah my dad bumped that and the state cops showed up…. Oops.) but Michelle did amazing with them. We had a first look and then did our family photos and they did a wonderful job getting the kids attention (3 kids under 2). During our ceremony I had no idea they were even there, they really do just blend in to the scene. During cocktail hour Ashley took some precious photos of us with our son that I know I’ll cherish forever. They even took us out for some nighttime portraits before the left for the night. For me a photographer was my highest priority vendor for my wedding day and I did a lot of extensive research before choosing Danielle. Once I saw her work I just knew I needed her to capture my day. I had a ton of questions before I booked and Danielle was willing to meet with my husband and me in person and patiently answered all of them. When it came time to take our engagement pictures my husband and I chose Island Beach State Park. The area we wanted to use for pictures required us to pile into my husband’s car and drive about ten minutes on the beach. Danielle was more than willing to make it happen for us and we wound up with stunning pictures that we love. We were all set to have Danielle shoot our wedding in May when COVID hit.
