We recently had our wedding at Suisun Valley Inn, and overall, it was a beautiful and memorable experience. One of the biggest highlights was being able to use the venue for three full days, which gave us extra time to relax and connect with our bridal party and loved ones. That extended access truly made a difference in how special the weekend felt. However, there were a few challenges that did impact our plans. The event barn, which was a key part of our original vision, was unfortunately not finished in time for our wedding. While we understand this was out of the owner’s control, we were disappointed that we were not refunded the full 2,000 deposit, especially since the change affected nearly every aspect of our day. Additionally, when we arrived, we were surprised to find the vineyard had been plowed without any prior notice. This forced another last-minute adjustment to our setup so we wouldn’t be facing a dirt lot. It would have been really helpful to have been told about that in advance. Despite these hiccups, the venue itself has so much potential and charm, and we did have a lovely wedding. I just hope some of these experiences can help future couples plan better or spark a few improvements from the venue for the future.

Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch was the perfect venue for our intimate, 17-person, post-ceremony wedding lunch. We had the outdoor patio area all to ourselves and it was absolutely gorgeous, and so well-maintained! From the moment we reached out to Farmstead, the team was detailed, polite, and positive in their communication, making the planning process as seamless as could be expected. Farmstead was also really flexible in allowing us to bring our own decorations, which was so great, and truly helped our vision come to life. The food and drinks were fresh and absolutely delicious! It made all the difference to us that Farmstead was able to nimbly accommodate all of our guests' dietary preferences in a way that ensured people ate healthily and deliciously, especially for those who traveled from far away. My wife and I held our wedding at Landmark in August 2024. Olivia was great to work with and the wedding itself was perfect and went off without a hitch. We loved the landscaping and ambiance of the venue, with its views of vineyards overlooking the Mayacamas, which provided the perfect backdrop for our 50 person ceremony. The beautiful flowers and outdoor furniture also helped us save a bit on other parts of our budget -- the space is so nice that it doesn't need too much done to it. We also liked the cottage and suite onsite, which are a nice perk. Landmark is definitely worth visiting if you are looking for a fantastic wine country venue!

Stunning 100+ year old house, was home to one of the original wine pioneers of the region. Gardens are beautiful, perfect setting for 100 person event or smaller more intimate gatherings in the home. Affordable from every perspective, it is permitted to bring in your own beverages, catering and other vendors which saves a bunch! Most venues require the renters to use their vendors and buy their beverages which adds up to a lot, quickly. We used Wine Country Paella who were so amazing! Hidden gem, new management who are great to work with. Unlikely to be hidden for much longer.

Plus there is a service fee of at least 13k. So BEFORE photographer, footwear, videographer, band, decor etc. you’re already at around 123k.

The Gables Wine Country Inn was the perfect venue for our wedding. It had an intimate vibe and had such a variety of beautiful atmospheric additions too such as: a charming historic barn, redwood trees, winery, and Victorian building in the backdrop, it couldn't have been better. Pam & Larry (the owners and managers of Gables Wine Country Inn) were so kind when we came to them for a last minute wedding and were so flexible and adaptable with the things we wanted for our wedding. They were extremely helpful in giving us our perfect day: the decor was gorgeous, the venue amazing, food & drink was the best and our guests had a great time too. It was a very easy planning process and they were very easy going about our wishes so I highly recommend this venue for a wedding, it was a wonderful experience and they couldn't have made the stress of planning a wedding any easier. It was a beautiful day and we have wonderful memories and photos of it forever, I couldn't be happier with it!

Paradise Ridge was absolutely stunning for our wedding! Even though it rained all day unexpectedly, the venue was just breathtaking. The only thing I would definitely change is that they have ceremonies start at 6pm and receptions end at 11pm- I wish we would've either added the optional hour to go to midnight or rented the space out to start earlier since everyone was having a ton of fun and it felt like the dancing didn't last as long as some other weddings we've been to. The staff was professional and knowledgable, and we didn't have any problems day of. They also have chairs and tables for 150 people included, which was great when making the rental order. Overall, PRW was fantastic.

The team at Yaara Napa Events was helpful and flexible in their communication, making the planning process a breeze. The venue itself is not fancy, but rather holds a rustic, nature filled appeal as it's a working farm ( our guests loved meeting their pygmy goats). We chose this place because it was a beautiful location close enough to our guests hotels in downtown Napa, and it fit perfectly within our limited venue budget. Mark, Lori and Jenny went above and beyond - they were an absolute DREAM to work with, and I would recommend them if you're considering a rustic, barn setting. They had decor available to use that has been left by other weddings, which helped ease our planning of what to purchase. Keep in mind the time of year that you choose, because in Sonoma County, there are flies in the late summer, and bees/wasps were present in early October. It really felt like we were family to them, and I couldn't have been happier with how they handled our special day. :)

Hiddenbrooke Hills was a gorgeous venue and the team at Wedgewood Weddings made our day absolutely memorable! I really wanted something that felt like a garden wedding and this place definitely delivered. We had a gorgeous garden ceremony but we were through the moon about the pavilion, it looked so elegant! The entire day was so fun and easy with the help of my Wedgewood Weddings coordinator and banquet captain who made sure my husband and I were taken care of the entire day. If there were issues, I wasn't aware because they were so on top of taking care of everything. Thank you so much Wedgewood Weddings for making our wedding day amazing!

Rosewood Events - A dream wedding and event destination. Rosewood is an elegant, private, country estate with 600 acres of manicured grounds and incredible views. We have lovely flower gardens, extraordinary ridge-top views, a magical first look pergola, lavender and daisy fields, river beds, willow trees, grape vines, redwood groves and 360 degree views! There is a lovely tent for a covered reception for up to 200 that includes tables, chairs, bar, lighting and chandelier. The cocktail reception is held at the gazebo including cocktail furniture set inside an incredible rose garden with Italian string lighting, a fabulous bar and games area. The ceremony can be under a willow or in the great field and includes a custom arbor and ceremony chairs. The welcome beverage area is under an ancient willow and includes the bar. A bride's cottage and groom's quarters, first look pergola, ride to the top of the ridge for sunset shots and so much more await you at Rosewood.

To start, the grounds at Rosewood will literally take your breath away. From the beautiful gardens, to the ceremony views, and the amazing included reception tent – Rosewood has it all. Not only was Rosewood the most beautiful venue we toured, but it had the most to offer. The gardens are so expansive, gorgeous, and well-manicured and there are so many different areas for our guests to enjoy. Other venues had more strict guidelines on what vendors would be allowed, which Rosewood assured us would not be the case. Additionally, the number of rentals needed at other venues far exceeded what we will require at Rosewood. Aside from the venue, Ann and Dan, the owners of the venue, could not be more helpful, knowledgeable, or dedicated. Ann took us on our tour, and I was almost brought to tears with the detailed descriptions given of throughout each segment of the tour. Ann gave us so many touching options that we would have for our day and added professional insight to assist with our planning. Ann has a way of giving you facts and advice without being pushy. As a couple who has no experience with planning a wedding, Ann’s advice was so appreciated. In addition to tips about planning, Ann was able to put both of our minds at ease with how seamlessly our day will run and the promise to be there for us on the big day. Ann and Dan are so dedicated to ensuring your day is perfect and it is very evident with the attention to detail seen around the venue. I cannot wait to write another review after our wedding date next fall. If you are thinking of having an outdoor ceremony in Sonoma County, you cannot beat Rosewood.

We had a magical wedding at Ru's. 100% would go for Ru's again. We lucked out with the weather but regardless, there is a lot of shade for guests (especially in the ceremony/dinner areas). The lighting is incredible. The lush lavender and olive trees makes the setting feel fairy-tale like and unique. We loved that everything was spaced out enough but also close together -- giving a homey/backyard and also elevated feel. Guests commented on how much they loved it too. We appreciated that you can BYOB. Ru's does offer some items to borrow but we elected to rent items for a specific feel (also note that you will be required to rent kitchen items such as an oven unless your caterer provides that). The cottage is also clutch and super nice. Working with Lele and Kristen was super great too. Having a hard time finding drawbacks!

Both my wife and I are from bay areas so it was important to get married by the water. I can’t stress enough how beautiful this venue is. It’s pretty much all inclusive, you can bring your own booze, vendors and decorations. It includes a stay in their fabulous inn which is 4 bedrooms. Our whole bridal party stayed and it was the best experience. We decided to book the night before too. You can even take pictures on the Marina docks right next to the property (for a small fee). The place itself is so dreamy, we used one lawn for our ceremony and one for lawn games and our cocktail tables. Watching the sunset from the reception space and the sparkly lights on both lawns was just sooo gorgeous. Now for the team, they went ABOVE and BEYOND to accommodate our requests and answer all my hundred questions and they were so flexible with us when we had to postpone for Covid twice. We are incredibly grateful for the team. They shared all their tips and tricks and made our wedding perfect. The coordination between the wedding venue and our planner was flawless. And best part was the seamless delivery of our late night snack, hot pretzels! And the space perfect accommodated a photo booth which everyone loved. We finally got married in September 2023! I highly recommend as a wedding venue 10/10.

My husband and I got married at Monk Ranch in June of 2023 and we absolutely fell in love as soon as we toured. Not only was it only 10 minutes from our house but it also included so much of the extra stuff that we didn't want to coordinate ourselves or pay extra for like tables, chairs, ceremony arch, bar, extra bathrooms. The fees were super reasonable and Gail was extremely easy to work with. She let me borrow several items from her decor closet and even set it up for me. I would recommend this property to anyone looking to host a wedding up to 100 people or even other celebrations like baby showers or bridal showers.

Built in 1871, Cow Track Ranch sweeps from the floor of Nicasio Valley surrounded by rolling hills and trees. Located 1.25 miles down a gravel road, the ranch is a quiet location with an authentic rustic vibe. The reception barn, an original 1970's hay barn, displays a collection of antique gold mirrors, dimming chandeliers, bistro lighting and a built-in stage. The barn includes farm tables and décor. A large prep space with tables, refrigeration/freezer and wash area is available for catering use. Two oversized wood doors welcome guests into the tin barn which has one open side providing views of the rolling hills. Ceremonies take place atop the knoll behind the reception barn by a large rock or in front of the historic wood barn, built in 1871. Enjoy cocktail hour in the barnyard and the corral is a great space for guests to dance the night away under the stars. We loved having our wedding at Cow Track Ranch. It is absolutely gorgeous. When we saw the ceremony site, we knew that was where we wanted to get married – not too far from the city but a world away. When you look out from the hilltop, all you can see are golden hills and woods. It's stunning. We held the reception in the barn, which is rustic and charming. This venue is not for those who want an all-inclusive experience, however. You need to bring everything in and coordinate it, from bathrooms to kitchen equipment. It is unapologetically rustic, with authentic cow patties in the field and hay on the floor of the barn.
