I have been decorating cakes for over 10 years. I am a self taught cake decorator, with gained knowledge from hands-on classes, online tutorials, as well as TONS of personal trial and error. I am always grateful for the opportunity to add a little extra sweetness to special moments!

Even as a little girl with my cupcake and lemonade stand, I never thought I'd get to turn my creativity into a career. I learned quickly; a desk job is not for me. But running a business, working with couples on a wedding cake of their dreams? Now that is right up my alley. I've always had a knack for creative things. Whether that was a dance class, piano lessons, painting or theater. I've also had a knack for management. Managing my time, keeping up with chaos or connecting with people. This helped me plan my own wedding, help friends with their's and ultimately, end up in the wedding industry where I truly feel I belong.

As a girl, I remember sitting at my mother’s kitchen counter while I watched her make the most amazing cakes. It was sharing those moments that I found my love for baking. Hence my company name “Baking Memories.” I truly believe that some of the best memories ever made are done in the kitchen. I am a licensed home business located in Saratoga Springs, Utah. My goal is to create amazing tasting cakes while having it be something worth remembering for years down the road. What's in a name? I wanted to opt for something that describes WHAT I make rather than who is making it. I strive for classic, but sophisticated. And details details details! My thoughts turned toward a pearl, it embodies all of those things and best of all, it’s timeless. Pearls when looked at closely have a slight shimmer. A detail at a distance is beautiful and “pearly” as we call it, but up close it’s really a gentle sheen of sparkle that causes that. Also known as luster. But don't forget the modern element I love to design with. That influenced the final spelling and look of the name LUSTR.

We began as a concession company providing cotton candy at sporting events. In the fall of 2021, we extended our brand by starting our own manufacturing plant. Sweet Buckets was born as an option for customers and businesses to purchase Cotton Candy and Gourmet popcorns direct from our company.

Growing up I saw my grandmother spark magic with brides and grooms, I saw her make holidays magical with her desserts. Laura Curtis, a Culinary Institute of America grad, was working as a R&D chef when she made her first batch of bright pink, tart & fruity Raspberry Hibiscus marshmallows. Her husband suggested she name the new amply fluffy creations Malvi, short for malvavisco, the Spanish word for marshmallow. She created Malvi Mallows using European-Style butter and Fair-Trade chocolate to make Malvi cookies extra rich, and dried hibiscus flowers, locally roasted espresso, whole vanilla bean, and organic Georgia peanuts to maximize marshmallow flavors, then built a business so that everyone can party s'more.
