My cake decorating started at Parson’s Bakery where I worked for many years. I worked my way from cashier to donut fryer to cake decorator. Growing up I saw my grandmother spark magic with brides and grooms, I saw her make holidays magical with her desserts. She sat there--not partaking of her creations, but rather in the atmosphere she engineered.
