Crump Family Farm was established as its own entity as a farm in 1876. This wooded sanctuary would eventually be purchased by Jeff and Bessie Crump. This dutiful family consisting of Jeff, Bessie, and their 6 children, farmed the land for over 36 years. The full practice of raising and processing tobacco, cultivating large vegetable gardens, and sustaining, and controlling livestock was all normal routine in providing for a family of that era.

After starting his own catering company, Chef Christopher immediately knew he wanted to own his own event venue. In 2011, EPIC Event Centre opened. Now it's all about every little detail! Chef Christopher's wife, Brenda, quickly fell in love with being an entrepreneur and become the CEO of the company. Two of their sons now work in the kitchen and one son is in sales and operations. Running a family business wasn't their original intention, it just happened naturally. But "the family" doesn't stop with just the Newtons. All our team members quickly become family!
