About this venue

We are not another business, like a farm, a country club, or historic site that also does events occasionally. Special events ARE our business. After starting his own catering company, Chef Christopher immediately knew he wanted to own his own event venue. In 2011, EPIC Event Centre opened. Now it's all about every little detail! Chef Christopher's wife, Brenda, quickly fell in love with being an entrepreneur and become the CEO of the company. Two of their sons now work in the kitchen and one son is in sales and operations. Running a family business wasn't their original intention, it just happened naturally. But "the family" doesn't stop with just the Newtons. All our team members quickly become family! We tend to attract very passionate and detail oriented staff members whose #1 goal is to meet and exceed your expectations. We all love what we do and it shows.

Our event spaces

The Jackson Ballroom

Our largest ballroom with 8101 sq feet of climate controlled space and a max capacity of 500 people. This room features a fireplace and a slightly raised area that is great for a dance floor. It also has a bar built out of whiskey barrels that can also be utilized for your drink station if you do not wish to serve alcohol at your event. Drapery and lighting features also adorn this ballroom at no additional charge.

Johnson Hall

The medium size Ballroom with 4130 sq ft of climate controlled space and a max capacity of 250 guests. This room features a 20 foot lighted Tree! It also has a bar/drink station made from whiskey barrels, drapery and, other light features that are offered at no additional cost.

The Courtyard

All Ballrooms are entered through EPIC's 15,000 sq ft Courtyard. The space is plenty large enough to also be utilized as event space. The Courtyard features a large Pavilion that can easily seat 150 under its roof, a Rock Water Feature and an Iron Gazebo. This area is also the "smoking area" conveniently located for all guests. To reserve the Courtyard you must also reserve a Ballroom. This is to insure that you have a plan "B" in case of bad weather.
