As a wedding planner, I have the opportunity to work with a lot of wedding venues throughout the area and my experience at The Armory was nothing other than perfect. The team was responsive to all vendors, including a demanding (and rude at times) caterer, and offered a lot of flexibility to my clients about how they wanted the room set up, and how they wanted the timeline to flow - it truly felt as though we were being welcomed into their space and guided through the process vs. some other spaces we've worked with that felt restrictive and controlling. Overall, if you're looking for a creative space that you can transform to whatever you want it to be, this is the space for you.

The Cambridge Boat Club was the perfect choice for our New England fall-themed wedding! It is an absolutely gorgeous location on the river with just the right amount of historic charm. We had originally considered going with all-inclusive venues, but ultimately opted for the flexibility we had with the CBC to craft our own vision. The venue features two distinct rooms, a larger room called the Drinkwater room, which can be used for the wedding dinner, the Club Room, which was used for cocktail hour and the dance floor, and a porch, which has a stunning view. The layout perfectly accommodated both the party enthusiasts and our more introverted guests, who preferred quieter spaces for rest and socialization away from the dance floor. Opting for this venue requires a more DIY approach compared to all-inclusive options. Since it is a historic building, there are some restrictions to be aware of, e.g. no sparklers or ceiling drapery, and existing wall decor generally need to stay on the wall. This was no issue for us since we had a clear vision for the wedding theme and decor, and enlisted the help of Tastings Catering (highly recommend, since they have previous experience working in this space and also handle some of the decor) and Designlight. Major shoutout to Katie Donnelly, the club manager at Cambridge Boat Club, who always responded in record time to all our inquiries and provided helpful guidance. With everyone's help, we were able to create the wedding of our dreams!

10 stars service at Envision! Held my son’s 500 guest wedding reception (Valima) there on 6/30/24. Christine and her team are amazing! Christine is very culturally aware and respectful of other people’s traditions ( for us it is Indo-Pak and Muslim). She has a lot of experience with this community. She is kind, professional, flexible, and stays calm under challenging situations. Every suggestion she gave was impeccable! Her team kept the food hot and kept the food coming at the buffet table. Very reasonably priced also. Highly highly recommend!!

We had a room block here for our wedding in Beverly, and hosted a brunch the day after (you have to have a catered event at the hotel in order to have a room block). Overall, our experience was pretty good. The hotel has been recently renovated and the rooms were beautiful. The King Suite was great to get ready in - I had 11 people getting hair and makeup done, with 4 artists, and there was enough space. Having the Regatta Pub on site was perfect for a welcome event and post-wedding spot and could easily accommodate a large influx of people. The brunch was ready to go with plenty of tasty food and drink. They also were able to hand out welcome bags when guests checked in. Kristen, who organized the room block, was extremely communicative and responsive to our emails, and helped us add rooms to our block a couple times. We are rating 4/5 stars for a couple reasons. First is that housekeeping never came to the suite to clean after we had left for the wedding, so we returned at the end of the night to all of the room-service coffee/breakfast items that had arrived at 8:30 that morning. When we called the front desk, no one answered. Secondly, while the brunch was great, they do charge a large room fee and administrative fee.

We couldn’t have been happier with our wedding at Olio in Peabody! Sarah, the venue owner and owner of Without a Hitch, was great — responsive, attentive, and dedicated to ensuring every detail of our day was perfect. My husband and I got married at the Hilton in Woburn on 6/8/24. Anyone that knows me, knows I stress about everything like there is no tomorrow. The Hilton put all my worries at ease. I did have a few different wedding coordinators throughout the process but they all were very helpful and communicated well with one another when switching to a different coordinator. Ruth and Kari- the best of the best! Responded quickly if I had any questions or concerns. We had our ceremony and reception at the Hilton. Kari and Alli (director of banquets)- words cannot even express how grateful I felt having both of them help with the ceremony entrances as we had an odd amount of people in the wedding party. Kari and Alli were both there the day of our wedding and made sure everything was set up the way I envisioned it. Ruth, Kari, and Alli, thank you all so much for making my wedding day the best, most memorable day, of my life!

There is truly no where like Danversport! We got married there in Sept 2023 and our expectations were blown away. The entire day ran SO smoothly. You really do not need a wedding planner at Danversport because they manage EVERYTHING!! The food was fantastic, the space was stunning and they kept the day on track! Would 10/10 recommend!!!

We used the Tree Top Room. A little under 100 guests. The outdoor ceremony space is beautiful. It’s deceiving because we were wondering how our guests would fit but it was more than enough. It’s also shaded which was perfect for a hot day. Wedding packages are very inclusive and don’t leave a lot for you to worry about. We went with the Ruby package which included 4 passed apps, a cheese and fruit display, champagne toast, salad course, choice of 3 entrees, wedding cake allowance and center pieces for the reception tables(sweet heart table was an extra fee but was reasonable). We added a late night snack station as well. We worked with Janet and had a Day of coordinator, banquet captain and a bridal attendant. The entire staff were absolutely amazing. We got so many compliments from our guests about how smoothly everything went, how beautiful the venue was and how delicious the food was. If you are looking for an all inclusive place that will literally do everything and take away any chance of stress.. I cannot recommend them enough!! They really know what they are doing!

782Wrentham was the perfect setting for our belated wedding reception. We had time to decorate and add personal touches on the morning of the event. My makeup artist (Gyna Paine) traveled to me and used the rental space as my bridal suite. The venue was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of seating and parking for 100 guests. For dinner, we all were seated under a large, well-lit tent. The vendors we hired (DJ/photo booth, dance floor, bar service, and catering) made for a unique event that wow-ed our family and friends. We’ll remember August 24th, 2024 forever.

From the moment we entered the grounds to many vendor visits, all the way to the wedding day, we felt like we were at home at Pierce House. We were able to curate the space to our specific visions, and Jen was sooo helpful throughout the whole process. She also has the cutest bulldogs on the planet, and we were actually sad the next day picking up the remaining decorations because we wanted to keep working with her. You really don't have to do much to the space to make it beautiful, and with a Director as involved and as helpful as Jen, you'll have the most fairy tale wedding day. Just a pro tip for communication: Jen is the most responsive via phone, so text or call her to inquire about meetings, and she will be at your side whether you're planning for 6 months or 2 years.

August 16th I married the love of my life surrounded by our family and friends. I always wanted a backyard wedding but as we started planning for it it became overwhelming. When my mom suggested we tour The Sagamore, I was more than willing. From the moment we stepped on the property it was all my husband and I hopped for without the responsibility. We immediately put our deposit down and started working with Beth. The venue is drop dead gorgeous, the food was incredible, and Beth was amazing. Leading up the day Beth was more than helpful and offered plenty of advice to us. The day arrived and no issues occurred, or at least I never knew about them. We missed the food tasting but sent family in our place as I was in the hospital giving birth to our son. When our wedding day came we were just as excited as the guests to try the dishes we had picked. We got more compliments on the food than I thought was possible. The staff were phenomenal and made the night as seamless as possible. I would recommend The Sagamore in a heartbeat to anyone looking for a venue. I had my dream wedding thanks to Beth and the whole Sagamore crew.

My husband and I got married at Terrydiddle Farm on June 29, 2024 and it was MAGICAL. Lissa and her team, the impeccable grounds, the horses, the lawn games, Sophie the dog... Everything was absolutely perfect and everything we were looking for. Tons of our guests, friends and family raved about our venue, saying it is the best wedding venue they have ever been to. When we toured Terrydiddle, we said we'd take a bit to think about it, and we called Lisa to confirm 10 minutes after leaving the property. A great perk they have is their "open house" where you can tour the venue while they have it set up for a wedding. It gives you such a great idea of what your day will look like. The bridal suite is so cute and was so helpful for our morning and holding our belongings, the barn and cocktail area is perfect for mingling with people after the ceremony, and the lawn games are just the best touch. Tons of our guests were playing corn hole! The fire pit was awesome for us and our guests too, and we included a cigar table, which was a huge hit! We used Terrydiddle's staff for our bar services, which worked out perfectly. The reception tent is so beautiful and the rental options (arbor, sweetheart table, barrels, etc) make things so helpful for decor purposes and eased some of my stress, as we mostly did mostly DIY. Lissa and her team do an amazing job keeping their property clean and gorgeous. The perfect wedding venue through and through.

It’s been 3 months since our October wedding and our friends/family still rave about our wedding night. Glenpharmer was still relatively new to weddings and most guests had never been to the location before. The compliments of the facility were endless. What can I say. The Fall River Country Club and Tammy hit it out of the park. I’m not a difficult person but I am a specific one. I don’t expect everyone to be like me, but the whole event and anyone associated with it came within 99% of my expectations. From the meetings, to being able to view it during other set ups, to her answering every question and making all requests and accommodations happen – her and the venue were just fantastic. If you want something all in one place without having to deal with so many different moving parts, then the FRCC and Tammy is the place for you. The venue had ample parking and the food was fantastic! Being organized is key. If you are organized the FRCC will 100% carry out your vision. The bridal sweet is huge, you can order restaurant service if you are going to be there a long time, she opens early if you need it that day … I’d go and look at it, if it checks your boxes, then make the rest of it happen. You will not be sorry. The views are just amazing, the spots for photography both inside and outside are beautiful. The bathrooms were clean and spacious and has a cute nook to put wedding baskets if you so choose. We had the wedding in Nov so I said please, in the common areas please feel free to leave your decor. Very tasteful and the staff, from cook, to bar, to wait staff - just phenomenal. Never sitting still. If you ask a question or needed something they came right back to you, not some half hour later. I can honestly say if planned properly your vision will be executed and your day will be a stress free one. They also had a smaller room upstairs that we reserved for the out of town guests / rehearsal dinner so they could drive to the location and get a lay of the land. We had a diff, more casual menu for that. It came out exactly how we planned.

My husband and I got married at Crestwood April 2024 and from the moment I met the wedding coordinator Melany and toured Crestwood for the first time I knew I would be getting married there. The venue is beautiful, the food was amazing and the staff were all friendly. (Plus my husband was happy to be getting married on a golf course) During the planning process Melany was available and very responsive when I had any questions. She was also open and honest about the wedding planning process and I always felt like I was just chatting with a friend through the year leading up to the wedding. On the day of the staff was very attentive to our needs in the bridal suite and were readily available with any questions or logistics I needed to sort out. I do not have one negative thing to say about my experience with Crestwood and if I could I would re-live the day again exactly how it was which was perfection! We had an absolutely amazing wedding at Willowdale. The facility is gorgeous, the staff is amazing and everything was perfect. And the food, the food was so good! Before the actual amazing day, we had a seamless planning process, we always had someone to help us with questions (both big and small) and always felt supported. They also helped us with planning & coordinating with vendors. On the day of, our coordinator, Jeannine, was an absolute hero! We feel so lucky to have gotten married at such a beautiful place!

Versailles Venue was the perfect choice for my daughter's sweet 16 celebration. The owner made it easy for us to communicate with her, and she has an awesome staff that really took care of us throughout the planning process and on the day of the event. The venue itself is very stunning, with a unique and elegant decor that was immaculately clean. Shining Tides is an absolute gem of a venue for anyone who wants a beachy wedding!! My husband and I got married on 6/28/24, and it was the best day ever! Elizabeth was incredible to work with from start to finish. She was extremely communicative, organized, knowledgeable, and friendly throughout the whole planning process. The whole day felt seamless and perfect, and our vision truly came to life. The venue itself is stunning- truly picturesque! An added bonus that Shining Tides teams with Russell Morin for catering- the food and drinks were absolutely delicious, and our guests can’t stop raving about it all! I’ve lost track as to how many people said it was the best wedding they’ve been to. Huge thank you to Elizabeth for making our day just so special!!

I was a floral designer providing centerpieces for a baby shower held there last fall (2023), in the Phillips Room. My experience as a vendor there was great. The venue was immaculate and modern inside, with the classic New England charm and vibe. The staff could not have been more helpful. They helped me with load-in, and the setup people were friendly and efficient. The coordinator Linda was also friendly, professional and on top of all the many details for the event (food, drinks, balloons, florals, favors, etc.). The room was light and airy, with lots of windows and light. The neutral background would work for almost any color palette. It is a beautiful venue in a classic New England setting, and I highly recommend it!

We cannot say enough about this place! The food was delicious and the cookies were to die for. The inn staff especially BillySue was so welcoming and kind to us. Our coordinator Julia made the day so smooth and took care of everything so that we could focus on being present on our special day. I wish we could relive this weekend over and over! My husband and I had our wedding here in September 2024 and the place was everything we dreamt of. Bridal suite is incredible, cocktail room was perfectly sized and the chandelier was absolutely stunning in the main room. Shy Ann was very attentive all day, got all my bridesmaids Starbucks and ran out the door when we were leaving to make sure I sprayed my veil with perfume before heading to the church.
