Hello! We are Ben and Annie Judd, the owners/operators of Heron's Hollow. We have 25 years of Air Force service between us and are also parents to two little boys. Our #1 priority at Heron's Hollow is making sure you are relaxed and truly enjoy your wedding weekend. We only host 10 weddings a year, since we give you the whole 31 acres for an entire weekend, as well as provide 5-star overnight accommodations for 30 people. ​Heritage Restored is a farm that will give you the setting for your wedding or special event that evokes a sense of history, peaceful views, and plenty of space to utilize. The 57 acre property will give a deep breath of relaxation to your event and can accommodate over 200 guests. Mark and Karlen have been restoring the farm for 19 years, one thing has been maintained as much as possible in its original form, the barn. The historic late 1800’s bank barn has many of the original board siding, only to be replaced in-like when needed. It boasts a very large 4 bay layout with the original chestnut flooring. The board siding allows the light to dance off the beautiful wood floors. It is a privilege for Mark and Karlen to invite you into their treasured barn and grounds.

Built in 1918, the Carlisle Ribbon Mill was a functioning ribbon mill until 1987. The building sat mostly empty until the MCcarren family bought the property in 2003. They spent the next few years bringing it back to life and 2006 started restoration on what is now the Carlisle Ribbon Mill Banquet Facility.

The home was built (around 1790) to take advantage of the view. A historic site of both Revolutionary and Civil War events involving battles for the Potomac Ford, a dam, and an old mill. It is a peaceful, private, and incredibly beautiful location. Over 200 feet of private waterfront nestled next to Dam 5 on the scenic Potomac River. Private, surrounded by nature, yet less than a 10 min drive to town.

Moon Dancer Winery is a prime location for celebrations such as Wedding receptions, private parties, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, and private wine-tasting events. The winery was designed as a French Country-style chalet, featuring a Great Room with two fireplaces and cathedral ceilings. There is a large granite tasting bar.
