About this venue

We are a historic 1920s Italian Revival mansion with breathtaking riverfront views in a convenient urban location. During your wedding you will have access to the entire mansion, including our Conservatory Ballroom, for your reception. Below is some additional information about weddings at King Mansion. - The Conservatory Ballroom can accommodate 160 guests with a dance floor. For guest counts over 160 we have additional options including a foyer dance floor or a tented reception on our front lawn. - Catering services are not included in our rental fee. We require you to select a caterer from our list of (5) options with varying price ranges to fit your needs & budget. - You are permitted to purchase & provide your alcohol as long as it's served by a licensed and insured bartender. We are currently offering $1,000 off any full wedding package for the remaining dates in January - August 2025.

Conservatory Ballroom

Dance the night away in our Conservatory Ballroom that can fit up to 150 guests with a dance floor.

This new room features four gorgeous chandeliers, stained concrete floors, market lighting, smoky mirror accent wall and elegant modern sconces. The Conservatory Ballroom can sit up to 180 guests when you choose to move your dance floor to the Foyer.

You are required to provide your own alcohol for all events at King Mansion. RAMP certified + insured bartenders are required to serve.

Yes. King Mansion has a private parking lot with approximately 68 spaces. We also have access to an additional lot 1 block over for a $500 rental fee. We will provide the signage to help direct guests to additional parking.

Yes, our venue is wheelchair accessible. We also have an elevator available to transport guests from first floor to second floor.

- Exclusive venue access from 9:00 AM - 10:30 PM (10:00 PM on Sun. - Thurs.) - One-hour rehearsal - Indoor & outdoor Ceremony options - Table & chairs set up for ceremony, reception and cocktail hour - Reception in the Conservatory Ballroom, seating for up to 160 guests - Access to Preparation Suites for the entire wedding day - Prep kitchen for the catering team - Handicapped accessible and climate-controlled facility - On-site parking for up to 68 vehicles - Venue Host on-site with a direct phone line for your entire day - Use of venue for engagement photos (2 hours max) - Option to reserve overnight accommodations for an additional fee

Up to 6 hours of event time for guests including your Ceremony, Cocktail Hour & Reception. Bridal party will have access to preparation suites for the entire wedding day.

All payments received before cancellation request are non-refundable. If cancellation request is received within 180 days before wedding date, all remaining payments are still due to venue within 7 days of the cancellation notice.

Historic King Mansion is 17.4 miles, 22-minute drive from Harrisburg International Airport. We are also 92.6 miles, 1 hour and 50-minute drive from Baltimore/Washington International Airport. You can reach our venue by public transportation via the train, or by private car or taxi.

We require a Special Event Liability Insurance (also called a Special Event Endorsement) for the day of your wedding. We do have a point of contact to help get you started on this process.
