Nepita

5.0

New York, NY
  • Starts at $6

Hello everyone, my name is Terence and I am the owner of Nepita Ice Cream! I have always been passionate about sharing a culinary moment with strangers. Being trained and having worked in Michelin starred restaurants, I learned how to make all sorts of frozen confections. That shaped me in creating Nepita, an artisan ice cream pop up shop offering flavors inspired by Corsica!

So lucky to come across a unique and passionate business to work with and offer to my guests! I wanted unique and unconventional flavors that would be unforgettable - the flavors are exceptional! I loved the koginut and candied tumeric ice cream and still talk about it to this day. I hope more people discover Nepita because it’s THAT good.

Milk Bar

5.0

New York, NY
  • Starts at $300

Milk Bar is a sweet (and occasionally savory) shop that’s been turning familiar treats upside down and on their heads, shaking up the dessert scene since 2008. Bon Appetit magazine called us “one of the most exciting bakeries in the country.” But you can literally just call us Milk Bar. We’re not big on feeding the hype beast. But we’re super into feeding our flavorful treats to those who crave the unexpected.

Awarded Best of Zola
My husband and I have always loved Milk Bar cakes and they have made appearances throughout our relationship- at birthdays, our engagement, and just for fun. So it was a no-brainer that we wanted to have it as our wedding cake. We got married in Greenville, SC in October 2022 and it was so easy to arrange for them to be shipped down and arrive 2 days before the wedding. They arrived at our home and we dropped them off with our caters who placed the 6" cake on top of a 10" cake for the wedding day! It looked beautiful and our guests raved about how great it tasted. Months later, we still have guests asking where it was from! We also provided plastic to-go boxes for guests to take home the extras at the end of the night. We had 80 guests and purchased four 10" cakes and one 6" cake. Thank you Milk Bar for the easy and delicious process!

Empire Cake was a delicious addition to our wedding day! We went with Raspberry Lemon- it was so yummy, and we kept the design beautifully simplistic so it would be the perfect backdrop to add fresh flowers from our florist. The Empire team so helpful and communicative throughout the planning process. Shout out to Bonnie, who was our main point of contact. Highly recommend Empire for any of your cake needs!

BonBon - A Swedish Candy Co

    5.0

    New York, NY
    • Starts at $10

The magical world of BonBon was founded in 2018 by friends Bobby, Leo and Selim to sweeten and revolutionize the US candy world; through a love for their homeland and its sweet and savory treats. On our journey since launching our Lower East Side retail location, community events and online efforts; we have become the bona fide destination for anyone with a sweet or savory tooth for Scandinavian treats. We import all products ourselves from Sweden, this way we can always ensure quality and the highest standards as set by real-life Oompa Loompas on site in Sweden and New York.

    Awarded Best of Zola
The oompa loompas at BonBon helped pull off an epic custom candy cart surprise for my husband and guests at our rehearsal dinner and helped us assemble wedding gift bags for all our hotel guests. I had a perfect experience with the team for a work event in the past and they were one of my first calls when I got engaged. I opted to have their candy cart come to the rehearsal dinner although if budget allowed I would have had them at our wedding. They brought us in for a complimentary candy tasting so we could pick from their enormous selection of the freshest candy I've ever tasted in my life. The oompa loompas made sure that my fiance only thought he was choosing what would go in our gift bags so he was elated when the candy cart appeared with all of his favorite choices at the rehearsal dinner. All guests who tried their candy were raving how it was also some of the best candy they had ever tasted. I can't recommend using BonBon enough for any event.

I wish I could have our wedding cake for dessert every night. This cake was made of dreams and sweet, chocolatey goodness – I literally had dreams about it after our wedding, no joke. And I can't tell you how many people raved about A) how stunning it was, and B), how decadently DELICIOUS it was! I think I heard more talk about the cake than any other aspect of our wedding except maybe our vows (total tear-jerkers). I found Miri on Instagram before she was even taking orders but DM'ed her anyway, crossing my fingers she'd let me book her. Fortunately she had her site up and running to take orders shortly after that, and we booked immediately after our tasting (we were blown away - her cakes taste as good as they look, which is saying A LOT, and they're worth every penny). I am a serious cake lover, so I was excited to find a cake maker who doesn't mess around with fondant or other artificial-tasting decorations. Her buttercream creations are DIVINE, both in taste and appearance. Miri herself is a delight to work with, a genius of an artist, and goes above-and-beyond for her clients. One of the best vendor choices we made. Hire her ASAP!

    • Starts at $96
    • Serves New York, NY

Located in the heart of Park Slope our bake from scratch bakery is here to make everything from a wedding cake, dessert table, cupcake and cookie bar for your event. We are a female owned business and pride ourselved in using the best ingredients.

I'm so glad I booked Buttermilk Bakeshop for our wedding. People are still raving to us about the cake! We were able to pick up a tasting box within a few days of inquiring into pricing and then they made a custom combination for us from the different flavors we tried. I only had to share a few pictures of what kinds of cakes I like and they created a beautiful vision well within our budget. The best part, to me, is that we can order this cake flavor again in the future for birthdays or anniversaries.

    Baked

    5.0

    • Serves New York, NY

Baked is many things. We are a classic American bakery and cafe with locations in Brooklyn and Tokyo. We are also a full-fledged lab of sorts, creating better baking mixes and delicious granola. Finally, we are absolute dessert enthusiasts (and cookbook authors) – perhaps even obsessives. We eat a lot of cake and cookies. Everyone should get a little Baked on their wedding day. Baked Weddings is a natural extension of our bakery and philosophy — fun, delicious, modern, and beautiful. Our Wedding design team is immensely talented, and this gallery represents a sampling of some of their latest work.

My husband's aunt was supposed to bake the cake for our wedding, until ~6 weeks before when she made the decision that coming was too risky (COVID). So with a short runway we had to find a solution, and of course, we hadn't budgeted for this! So I reached out to at least a dozen bakeries and am so happy I found Baked. They got us in for a tasting really quickly and were so nice. They not only didn't pressure us to upsell, but helped us talk through what it would look like and the cost savings to get 3 separate cakes and put them on pedestals instead of a stacked cake. I honestly couldn't believe it, I was so sure that since we had so little time we were going to be targets, and instead Baked swooped in, saved the day, and made the whole experience just lovely. And of course, the cake was delicious!

    La Gran Via Bakery

    5.0

    • Starts at $100
    • Serves New York, NY

Here is the corner stone of our house, Mr. Armando Leyva. At the very young age of 23, along side his wife Mrs. Lorely Leyva, they decided to follow in his fathers foot steps and enter the bakery business. Still a novice to the bakery world, he leaned on his fathers many years of expeciece as a bread master. Much to his surpise the bakery was much more than just breads, soon they would discover many talents needed to be learned and fast.

I was very happy with the wedding cake I ordered from La Gran Via Bakery. It was delicious, beautiful, & affordable. The staff was friendly & helpful, & they delivered the cake on time & in perfect condition! I received many compliments from my guests on how tasty & beautiful the cake was. LGV is the place to go if you want a great cake for any occasion!
