In the 1950s & 60s, The Bronx was home to an amazing photographer that captured weddings and family events. His name? Warren Meurer aka the “Silverfox” (due to his flowing silver and gray locks). Fast forward to the early 1990s, Warren’s grandson, John Salkowsky, decided to follow in his grandfather’s footsteps and open a wedding photography and video studio. When it came time to name this newly formed company, there was only ONE name it could possibly have – Silverfox Studios.

I have been a photographer for 21 years - it all started when my Mom gifted me my first camera to take on a trip. I shot 30 rolls of film, in a week, all in black & white. A decade later, I sat down to really think about what I wanted from life. At the time, I was playing professional soccer in Denmark, and knew that that experience had an expiration date. Hi! We're Jeremiah & Cody. We met working in a music store in 2009 and instantly became like brothers ("Did we just become best friends?" "YUP!"). In 2011, Jeremiah's wife volunteered him to shoot her sister's wedding and he genuinely enjoyed it. So, he began shooting weddings. In 2016, Cody graduated RIT with a Visual Arts degree and was looking for his next move.
