Drawing inspiration from films, photojournalism, and fine art— my work is best described as cinematic and timeless. From photographing small to large weddings, intimate elopements, to covering the Tony Awards— I've learned that every wedding & event is important and unique. My approach as a photographer is to not only create images that feel honest and interesting, but to document a story— while subtly being in the background. Capturing moments you were in the middle of, and moments that you probably never even saw— so that one day when you look back on these images years from now, you'll be reminded of what that day was.

    Please book Justin for your special event - he is amazingly talented and the kindest soul to share your day with. We booked Justin for our wedding and by far it was the best decision we made for the day. From the moment we met to discuss the photography (prior to any sort of contract), Justin felt genuinely invested in the day, our happiness, and felt like a good friend. As the process continued on, he helped us remain organized and had clear expertise in how best to time manage and execute the photography. He was readily available for any questions and gave excellent suggestions in what might be needed during the photography that we had not thought of. When the wedding day finally arrived, Justin was an immediate calming presence and source of joy. He made everyone feel so relaxed and I think that is so important in photography to capture a momentous occasion. The photos turned out stunning and we will cherish them forever. Everything was exactly according to timeline (even early!). I can not thank Justin enough for playing such an important role in our wedding and making such incredible memories with us.

    Working with Justin was a dream. When we were planning our wedding, we knew that photography was one of the most important aspects for us, and we wanted to make sure we worked with someone that understood our desire of editorial looking photos versus those cheesy posed wedding photos we often see. We found Justin's work on Instagram and immediately reached out to work together. His pricing was super reasonable especially for the NYC area, and we were so comfortable with him the moment we met him for our engagement shoot. We weren't comfortable in front of the camera but he did such an amazing job at pulling our personalities and our story out so that it translated into the most beautiful photos. One of our photos on the subway was even featured on Zola's Instagram! Justin ended up becoming a friend after we worked with him and we received so many compliments on how beautiful both our engagement and wedding photos are. He delivered the photos so quickly and it was clear that he was personally invested in our love story. We can't recommend Justin enough - he is truly the best photographer and you will be able to relive your big day in the best, most beautiful way with his photos.
