Where to even begin with our review of the Evergreen and the amazing team that truly made our wedding dreams come true. My husband and I knew we wanted a true to Portland rainy day romantic wedding. The hard thing about endless possibilities is bringing them to life- and YVONNE helped us every step of the way. Outside of answering every email so quickly- Yvonne never offered anything less than thorough answers, amazing support to our vision, and endless incredible ideas and options- she really made planning our wedding FUN. I’ve noticed in the wedding industry when you share your vision it becomes set in stone and your team goes to execute it and that is that. Yvonne was patient through every hypothetical question and possible change- and truly made us feel like the space and the day was our oyster and she was willing to help us make it whatever our hearts desired. Our wedding couldn’t have gone any more perfect and we truly owe this to the evergreen- and Yvonne who guided the day perfectly. I helped my friend plan her wedding here, and it was such a beautiful wedding. The bride had a LOT of decor but the team there set it all up perfectly. The wedding was in December but the weather was still great. The venue is stunning, and her pictures came out amazing. She went with the venue's recommended vendors and they did a great job. Her buffet was delicious as were the cocktails! Definitely recommend for a gorgeous event and stress-free planning experience.

On top of all of that, the all inclusive package that Waverly has is NEXT LEVEL. I didn’t have to search for vendors because Waverly had them already available & built into my package. It was an absolute dream to have one less thing to stress about. Their coordinator, Rachel, is absolutely amazing too. She answered every question I had & was the best cheerleader for us on wedding day. She had everything completely organized & made my vision come true for our wedding. My wedding was a dream come true, in huge part to the team at Waverly Estate.

My wedding party ran late with getting ready which delayed so many things, but the Maître d’, Phil, made sure everything ran smoothly once we got to Westbury. He offered solutions for the timing of each portion of the reception and what I expected to be a stressful day ended up being the best day ever. And our bridal attendant, Dilcia, was so nice! She made sure I was fed and hydrated, that I changed my dress, and just her presence was enough to keep me calm. I cannot thank them enough for making this day one of the best of my life so far. They were a blessing to have.

As a facility rental, we provide tables and folding chairs inside, as well as complimentary parking. All outdoor furniture will need to be rented. Catering would be provided through one of our amazing catering companies we partner with and can average $120 to $200 per guest. Beverage service and bartenders are additional and are provided by the History Center. It is about $65 per person for a 4-hour premium full bar. We have a full property minimum on Saturdays of a peak month: April, May, June, September, and October. The facility rental fee for the Swan Gardens, Atlanta History Museum, and Grand Overlook ballroom on a Saturday is $12,500 and we have an additional $5,500 beverage minimum. Fridays and Sundays are $10,000 with a $2,500 beverage minimum. Most of our weddings can expect to spend between $400 to $1,000 per guest after all vendors and costs are added up and divided out per guest.

Due to Covid, me and my husband had to postpone our big wedding plans but got to have an intimate ceremony and dinner with just family. It wound up being the most magical day/night! Working with the Swan house was such a smooth experience with fast communication and help during the planning process and day of. We had the wedding day of our dreams at Stonebridge. This venue is gorgeous with many options for personalization(decoration wise) and photos. The indoor/outdoor versatility is awesome so guests don’t feel confined to one area throughout the night. The staff is amazing and always there to make sure we had everything we needed. My husband and I didn’t have to go and get ourselves drinks/snacks the entire time because we were constantly asked if we needed anything. The food is delicious! Our guests raved this was the best wedding food they’ve ever eaten. The staff is super personable and accommodating which you will realize from the very moment you step into Stonebridge for a wedding consultation. Every single aspect we discussed was orchestrated for us on our big day and MORE! I have to give a well deserved shoutout to Kim, Jeff and Hannah for playing a special part in making our wedding dreams come true. We have said multiple times since our wedding that we would not change a single thing about our amazing day and that was all thanks to the amazing people at Stonebridge. This is THE venue!! The Manor at Mountain View was the perfect find for the owners. The rustic feel with modern-day conveniences was a must. But, what was also a must was to have a venue that the word beautiful could not even describe it but, yet to keep it affordable so that so many people could come and enjoy this spectacular piece of property. The Tavern (Groom's Tavern) has its original barn beams as this was at one time a bank barn. The rustic charm matches the rod iron chandeliers in the room leading to the tavern. In 2007 the former owners built an addition to the facility that speaks volumes, equipped with windows throughout to show off the amazing view... It really is breathtaking. Today the owners have renovated all the rooms in the building but, kept the rustic charm. It brings the family great joy to see so many people happy when they visit the property and to be able to share so many events with the individuals that rent the property is a joy that is indescribable.

I couldn't have picked a better place to get married. Everyone told me to expect at least one thing to go wrong on my wedding day. The only bad thing that happened was that it rained! (Obviously uncontrollable) however, the coordinators still made it perfect. The inside was set up perfectly. I only truly wanted our pictures outside. They literally followed me around with umbrellas and followed my bridesmaids around with hair dryers to dry our dresses and keep us looking our best all while they were getting wet! I received SO many compliments on my wedding. Multiple people during the days after said it was one of the best weddings they have ever attended!

Pleasant valley was also much cheaper than a lot of places we looked at. Getting married during covid was not an easy process. Donna and the team at pleasant valley allowed to us to have our small but perfect wedding and we couldn’t have asked for a better day. All our guests complimented how beautiful it was at PV and so many people told it was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding!! Couldn’t recommend PV more!

Our Seven Ponds wedding exceeded every expectation. The setting is just beautiful – impossible to get a bad picture with the farm as a backdrop. The farmhouse suited our bridal party to a T. Everyone had plenty of room, the well-equipped kitchen made it easy to feed our crew on the Friday before and the Saturday of the wedding. We enjoyed a delicious barbecue buffet after our rehearsal and family and bridal party gathered around the bonfire with s’mores afterward. The morning of the wedding, the amazing team (more about them later) doted on us with mimosas and freshly baked muffins. The wedding ceremony went off without a hitch – timing was perfect. And the cocktail hour and reception flew by way too fast. Guests were in awe of the food and the setting in the barn. Our Sunday morning brunch on the porch was the perfect way to close out a perfect weekend. Kudos, applause, and many, many thanks to team leaders, Slywia & Jab – not sure they slept at all over the weekend! They were patient, kind, cheerful, and full of good humor. They kept everything running smoothly and seemed to be in six different places at once. Keeping up the same pace were the rest of the staff. We also must mention our bartender extraordinaire for the weekend, Greg! He managed to stay on top of everyone’s particular order and made every guest feel welcome and catered to. We also know there were many others who maintained the barn, the farmhouse, chefs and others who served our party – everyone was wonderful. We booked our wedding just after Min and Morten purchased the farm – it wasn’t finished when we first saw it. They had a beautiful vision of what they wanted to create and we benefited from the realization of that vision! Their commitment to ensuring bride, groom, family, and guests was clear when they were there to greet us on Friday and stopped in at the reception on Saturday. Be able to do the pre wedding planning of food tastings, meetings, etc at their restaurant in NYC was extremely helpful, as that's where we are based. They were extremely attentive and on top of it the entire way, answering every question we had! Wish we could do it all again every weekend!

After months of searching Center City Philly for a wedding reception venue, we finally stumbled upon the Warwick Hotel that met our desires for a walkable and downtown location at a great price point and sizable for our guest list. We secured a date, and with COVID restrictions, were forced to delay/postpone twice. The Warwick was more than accommodating during this time, novating our contract and maintaining our agreed upon pricing each time. While staff understandably shifted during this time, communications were a bit duplicative, and our only criticism would be that our discussions from the point we entered into a contract be documented and logged in a common location so that requests and preferences not get lost in the shuffle. That said, In the months leading up to our event, the Warwick staff was very communicative with both us and our wedding coordinator to ensure all went as planned. They also increased our hors d'oeuvres and desserts in the weeks leading up, at no additional cost. The big day went so smoothly, and any kinks were not evident to us, thereby proving the Warwick's ability to execute flawlessly. Our guests raved about the food and quality of service. To our knowledge, coordination with other vendors was fairly seamless, as the Warwick was very accommodating to vendor needs for logistics and setup/breakdown. All in all our experience at the Warwick was great, and we felt we could make our vision come to life with them without too many predefined processes for how they operate and run their events!

First things first, Blenheim is an absolutely magical wedding venue and the staff provides an unparalleled experience! It is an incredible value and we still can't stop grinning about our special day, but also how easy the Blenheim team made things for us in planning. Seriously, we feel so lucky and grateful about how much Blenheim does for you, we were able to enjoy ourselves without stress leading up to the day and stay in the moment the day of. We received so many compliments about how our wedding was one of the best folks have ever been to, and we owe that in large part to the Blenheim team and venue! We live in California and selected Blenheim without ever having visited the farm - it was actually quite an easy decision and the pictures don't even begin to describe how beautiful the property is. It did help that my parents visited in the winter and were greeted warmly by Chef Paul, and that my wife's parents visited Min and Morton in their restaurant in NYC and hit it off. Everything about the Blenheim owners, staff, food, experience, logistics, property, farmhouse was first class and supremely professional, but also fun. The food tasting was such a special time leading up to the event and so much fun, and Min's and Chef's flexibility to accommodate some of our dietary preferences was very much appreciated. I even got to swap in sherry in my "his" cocktail! :) The food was top notch, there is no need for much additional decoration as the barn and property are stunning themselves, the farmhouse is a great place for the families to stay (we stayed there and also hosted a workout of about 50 of our guests the morning of the wedding by the lake!), and the animals added to the atmosphere we were hoping for. I would also say to get the add-ons as they are very reasonably priced and thoughtfully curated - we added a bunch of those special touches to our day like the bonfire and lawn games. Special thanks to Carol and Laura for all of the planning help, Danyelle and Fredrik who were rockstar captains for us the night before and day of, and to Min and Morton for creating such a special setting and team, providing world class hospitality, and being such hands on proprietors ensuring satisfaction at every step of the way. If there is a date at Blenheim open, you should snag it ASAP!

Jack and I could not have imagined a better venue for our wedding than The Club at Glenmore in Keswick, Virginia. Growing up in Charlottesville, I knew that I wanted to get married in my hometown. Wineries are a popular choice in Charlottesville, but they are mostly located in the surrounding counties which require a long drive from hotels. Winery weddings can also require coordinating a lot of rentals (decor, tables, chairs, etc.) and finding a caterer. After researching all of the venues around Charlottesville, we chose The Club at Glenmore or many reasons. One, the beautiful and convenient location. Glenmore was conveniently located only about 10 minutes from our hotel block on Pantops which made it easy for guests and shuttles. Even though the location is close to town, it is situated inside a beautiful gated neighborhood with views of the mountains, rolling horse pastures, and well maintained golf course. So it feels like it's out in the country without actually being that far away from town! Two, the full service. Glenmore provides so much for its couples! It has an amazing on-site chef so we did not need to find a separate catering company. This was one of our main deciding factors! Couples even do the food & wine tasting at the venue which makes for a fun day trip :) Glenmore provides all of the ceremony chairs, reception chairs, tables, glassware, serving ware, flatware, etc. So we did not need to rent anything except purchase some decorations. Speaking of decorations, Glenmore has many decor pieces that we were able to use! They have arbors, prosecco walls, a boxwood wall for photo opps, votive candle and holders, charger plates, up-lights, bistro lights, etc. Three, the amenities. Getting ready spaces, ceremony locations, cocktail terrace, reception ballroom - Glenmore has it all! Glenmore has a beautiful bridal suite that the ladies in my bridal party were able to use all morning. The bridal suite has plenty of room to get ready in, hang dresses in, store decor in, and even take pictures in. There is a separate space downstairs where the guys can get ready in too! We all enjoyed spending the morning and early afternoon together in these spaces while eating breakfast and lunch prepared for by Glenmore! The space was also convenient for our vendors too. They could come and check in with me throughout the morning since I was getting ready on-site. There are many ceremony locations to choose from if you want your ceremony at Glenmore. We actually switched our ceremony location within about 2 weeks of the wedding and Glenmore was very accommodating with this switch. Finally, the beautiful ballroom was another major deciding factor for us. We had our wedding in the summer, so we knew we wanted to have the reception indoors in an air conditioned room. Four, the staff. Glenmore takes pride in providing top notch service to its clients. Kim, the event coordinator at Glenmore, helped us so much from start to finish. She walked us through the wedding process, answered the many questions we had, worked with all of our vendors, met with us for our tasting and walkthroughs, made sure that all of our requests were met, and coordinated the entire Glenmore team on our wedding day. If you are looking for a beautiful full-service wedding venue with everything including an amazing on-site caterer, top notch staff, convenient location, and gorgeous views, Glenmore is the place for you!!

My husband and I couldn’t be happier that we went with Copper Creek for our wedding! Kelly and her team were great to work with while planning! We were in contact with a coordinator that they provided 45 days out from our wedding which made everything so much easier and was a lot of help! We loved the space and that we could have a smaller ceremony outside with a larger reception inside. They let us use their outside bar area as a coffee station that we provided everything for, I am so thankful they let us do that! The coordinator was there all day and for set up and helped me with so much on my big day. I couldn’t say enough good things!!

I cannot recommend Boulder Ridge by Wedgewood Weddings enough! From booking the venue to coordinate with the ladies on my vision to Karyn being the best day of coordinator- we had such a smooth and successful wedding planning experience. I also love that you can text them pictures and text questions at anytime. It was so easy and helped make the process a bit more stress-free. On top off the service, the venue was stunning. My guests loved the long driveway and that the ceremony was outside. It was beautiful! The vendors provided by Wedgewood Weddings are also top notch. We used I Do Cakes (which they were able to make vegan) and it was so good. We even had guests ask where we got the cake (win!). We used DJ Kevin (imobile DJs) and he was so great! 98% of the wedding guests were on the dance floor by the end of the night. We also used Flower Divas- I was very particular and sent Shawna all of my pinterest pictures. She absolutely nailed it! Everything was beautiful and better than expected. We received so many compliments on the flowers.

After touring probably 10 wedding venues, it was easy for us to pick Arrowhead Golf Club for our wedding day. They are truly all-inclusive and are accommodating to any budget. We really enjoyed working with Wedgegood for our wedding! They made everything really easy and were really communicative throughout the process. The package we got came with most items - we decided to go with our own photographer instead of the one they recommended. We also got a videographer, a dance floor, and backdrop. Other than that the price we paid included the venue, food, DJ, all the set up and clean up (tables chairs, etc.), cake and table florals. (I did need to purchase my own bridal and bridesmaid florals). Mostly everything went as planned and everyone had a fun time! It was a beautiful venue and everyone really appreciated being able to go sit outdoors to have a drink.

Booking was easy and fast. Courtney and Maggie were the best to work with. They answered all our questions quickly and made the process as easy as possible for us. We had our rehearsal breakfast there the morning of our wedding. We showed up and everything was set up so beautifully. It was very spacious, so much room to create. Destiny and Dina did amazing at accommodating, communication and being quick with a fix being that is rained on my wedding day ALL day. The food through the venue was amazing!!!! My only complaint would be wishing we had been able to get to the venue earlier than we were allowed, felt a little rushed. Overall loved the venue & the girls.

This venue was everything we needed beautiful green outdoor. Decoration option for the venue to provide allowed for our wedding planner to focus on other areas. Inside and outside spacious we also rented the additional Garden room for the kids to play and watch movies. Rachel was a pleasure to work (flexible an high communication) with and staff was always nice. Easy payment plan. Venue is near several hotels for our guest and several things to do with restaurants. We will be using this space for other events in the future.

We were thrilled with our wedding day at Grbic! Lejla and the whole team made sure that our special day went smoothly and exceeded our expectations. The event staff took special care to make sure my husband and I had what we needed (we even got to eat!) and the bartenders…whew. They were phenomenal. They even brought shots out to the dance floor. Everyone had a great time and they played a big role in that. The food was absolutely incredible. We were able to use the main event space for the ceremony and then moved to the restaurant space for the cocktail hour while the team flipped the main space for the reception. Everything was executed flawlessly. They even let us stay for two extra songs at the end of the night. Our guests had a fantastic time, and so did we. Thank you Grbic!!

We used this beautiful space for a Young Life banquet in the fall of 2022. This is a truly gorgeous space both inside and out! It has a homey feel inside with exquisitely picked furnishings and also lends itself to be made your very own with your own decor. Outside is right on the Llano river and comes equipped with outdoor fireplaces and games of all sorts. It even has a putting green right outside the gorgeous floor to ceiling sliding doors! It makes the perfect backdrop to any event you have planned. Personnel were super easy going and ready to help however they could. The upstairs is perfect for a quiet night after the big event and can also serve as the perfect getting ready space for you and your party. The kitchen was stunning with anything you could possibly need for entertaining and the bar was fully stocked with all the crowd favorites. (Although we didn’t use this, lol)

The venue is beautifully laid out, with a courtyard for your wedding and a Ballroom that is elegant with neutral colors to accommodate any color scheme. We scoured the Steamboat area for a reception site, and when we found SSC, it was a no brainer. The location is awesome, in the heart of downtown, a block from the river, views of the mountain, and adjacent to the free bus for our guests to use. The value was second to none, Tim & Michael provide so much that not only makes the space great, but makes your life easier. A/V included, built-in bar, heated patio, furniture included, I could go on. On top of that, they are so easy to work with, always responding quickly and accommodating what we needed, they were flexible with us right up until the day. During the event, they were hustling around making sure everything was going to plan along with our coordinators. The nicest guys you’ll meet and a space that made our dreams come true. It’s taken almost 2 months to even come up with the appropriate words to show the amount of gratitude we have to the hotel providence. From the moment we met, we knew it was a match. The chemistry was kismet, like where has kate been all my life?!? I hate that i don’t live in providence because I would have EVERY single event there always. We were one of her many COVID couples and literally had our food tasting the week before lockdown in NYC. Her flexibility and understanding of postponements, and keeping us informed on mandates and our options for everything was truly amazing. Now let’s get to the big weekend, from the SECOND we pulled up we were VIP’s all the way. Every member of the staff knew who we were and that it was our wedding weekend and i have never felt more special in my whole life. When i tell you that i didn’t stress out one bit because i just knew “Kate has this, Kate has this” and man she did! Every single detail was perfect. Everything was perfect. Every single person working the wedding was perfect. Food was EXCELLENT, like ten times better than the tasting. The hotel itself is absolutely perfect, the Rodger Williams suite was a great touch, loved being able to check on our dog from the wedding downstairs courtyard. I’ll be forever grateful to every single person that helped make this long loooong journey to the alter possible and for pulling off the greatest party that my friends and family are all still talking about. So if you want to feel like the most important person in the world, book with them.

The Briar Patch was wonderful! So so beautiful and accommodating. They really worked with us to make sure we had everything we needed and wanted. They made getting our friends and family a place to stay so easy and we’re so quick to answer any questions or requests we had. My bridesmaids and I needed breakfast very early on Saturday morning and they brought it right to our room, right on time before serving the other guests in the main dining room. Both my wife and I are from bay areas so it was important to get married by the water. I can’t stress enough how beautiful this venue is. It’s pretty much all inclusive, you can bring your own booze, vendors and decorations. It includes a stay in their fabulous inn which is 4 bedrooms. Our whole bridal party stayed and it was the best experience. We decided to book the night before too. You can even take pictures on the Marina docks right next to the property (for a small fee). The place itself is so dreamy, we used one lawn for our ceremony and one for lawn games and our cocktail tables. Watching the sunset from the reception space and the sparkly lights on both lawns was just sooo gorgeous. Now for the team, they went ABOVE and BEYOND to accommodate our requests and answer all my hundred questions and they were so flexible with us when we had to postpone for Covid twice. We are incredibly grateful for the team. They shared all their tips and tricks and made our wedding perfect. The coordination between the wedding venue and our planner was flawless. And best part was the seamless delivery of our late night snack, hot pretzels! And the space perfect accommodated a photo booth which everyone loved. We finally got married in September 2023! I highly recommend as a wedding venue 10/10.

He has such a calm presence, too, which is VERY needed on your wedding day! Robert was our personal right-hand man to me and my husband on our wedding day, and he was amazing!! He made sure we had time to ourselves amongst the chaos of the evening, he made sure we ate our delicious dinner, and he even helped me with my train and veil during pictures and bustled my dress before the reception!! Rehearsal and decor pickups were super stress-free and easy too. Thank you to everyone at Union Station for making our wedding the best day of our lives (so far)!!!

We had the best experience with the team from the day we first came for a tour until the morning after the wedding when we were checking out and doing a final walk through of the ballroom. They treated us with care, professionalism, timeliness, and quality products. Andrea and her team did a great job of running the show! Logistics were taken care of seamlessly and everyone said the food was delicious! When we were leaving, we ran into two maintenance staff who helped us get the leftover cake and check to make sure all the decorations were out and they went above and beyond to make us feel taken care of. The patio area is so nice for photos and a cocktail hour and although we were inside, it was still a lovely time near the Lake Minnetonka ballroom. We could not have had a better experience of excellent service, care, concern, follow up and execution as we did with Andrea and her team! It was an unforgettable day and everything went as planned. I had my wedding at Fountain Blue and it was amazing. I worked with Georgia and she was so helpful throughout the whole process. The food was amazing to the point where people still tell me how good it is months later. The food isn’t even wedding venue good it’s just good overall. They were also packed any extra food we had from the no shows which was great. I couldn’t recommend this place enough.

From the moment we first pulled into the venue Dec 2022, we knew then we were going to love this venue. Before we even walked inside, the drive up and the scenery outside gave us such good vibes. Everyone here was such a big help in the planning process, and was always willing to answer any question we had all the way up to wedding day, May 11, 2024. There is lots of outdoor space as well as a huge inside space. Bridal and groom suite was spacious while we were there getting ready. The Maine of Williamsburg made us feel like we were at home and we would definitely recommend this venue to anyone.

Our company (AAA Entertainment) was fortunate enough to be the first DJ to play at a wedding for Camelot Meadows. The venue itself is not only brand new, but it is absolutely beautiful!!! You can get married inside or go outside as well and get married in a bamboo forest or right in the meadow. You honestly can't go wrong with any of the locations. The staff is absolutely wonderful to work with and they bend backwards to make sure the whole day goes off without a hitch. They have even asked me several times what they can do better after each wedding that I have done there and I honestly couldn't think of anything. You can't go wrong with this venue. We had the pleasure of hosting our intimate wedding for just over 50 guests at the Renaissance Event Hall in May 2024. The event space is beautiful— although the surrounding area is a bit rough, it’s a space that’s large enough to really bring your vision to life. Originally, our ceremony was supposed to be held on the outdoor patio but after a “rain plan” rehearsal we decided to have the ceremony indoors to make use of the beautiful grand staircase. Affordable space— for NYC? Absolutely. Food— great! Bar— great! Staff— amazing! Shout out to Larry for the amazing lighting. Both Larry and Lisa went above and beyond to make sure guests were served, comfortable, and having a great time. My only wish was that there was a separate groom suite that’s apart from the bridal suite. Here we had to use a foldable partition to separate the bride side from the groom side. Also, our rehearsal was double booked with another wedding party the day before our wedding which was a bit disappointing having to wait and navigate around their rehearsal to complete ours. However, this just seemed to be a simple miscommunication between Lisa and her assistant which I’m hoping won’t be the case with another bride/groom. Overall, it was the perfect space to host our wedding. Lisa was such a pleasure to work with and had such great insights on how to bring together the event in a manner that made the best use of the space. Thank you to the Renaissance Event Hall team!

How much do wedding & reception venues cost?

The cost of wedding venues varies, with factors influencing cost including size, location, guest count, and, most importantly, whether things like catering and rentals are included. The more a reception venue near you includes, the higher the cost. When considering venues, try to compare prices apples-to-apples. If one venue includes catering and rentals in their pricing and the other doesn’t, you need to figure out how much additional cost those outside vendors would be to make a true comparison. Before booking, be sure you’re aware of additional costs outlined in your contract, like parking fees and weather-related considerations (adding a tent, etc.).

What questions should we ask wedding venues?

When talking with a potential venue, always ask about 1) their availability and 2) their capacity. Some popular venues book up peak season Saturdays nearly 2 years in advance—if your first choice date isn’t available, consider your flexibility on day of the week and year. While maximum capacity is non-negotiable, venues might have guidance on what guest count will be most comfortable. Also, you’ll want to understand what is and is not included in the venue’s fees. Some include catering, tables and chairs, and linens, while others offer just the raw space.
