Country Club of Greenfield was established in 1896. It is one of the finest, and oldest, golf courses in New England. On October 22, 2011 the former clubhouse was destroyed in an unfortunate fire. Rokeby is a designated Historic Landmark, still privately owned by the descendants of Alida Livington, for whom the house was built in 1815.

The West Mountain Inn was originally built as a farmhouse in 1809. From 1880 to 1920, first a gristmill and then a lumber mill were operated on the Battenkill River at the foot of the mountain. In 1904 Ned and Gwendolyn Rochester purchased the 150 acre farm and began to transform it into an elegant summer estate. After a succession of other residents the estate later became an arts and retreat center.

We are a small intimate setting perfect for micro weddings or elopements. We have a covered outdoor deck for a ceremony and dinner or an indoor banquet room that hold up to 40 people with a foyer for a cocktail reception.

Our venue is a working cider apple farm and distillery with an orchard, greenhouse, vegetable & flower gardens, a flock of 50 exotic chickens, Sebastopol geese, Soay sheep and two super sweet Chihuahuas named Isabella and Mela. Our barn was built in the late 1870's. It has been renovated over the last few years to be the perfect space for up to 130 guests. We got married in our barn and had 80 of our closest friends and family for the event. It’s the ideal venue for these smaller weddings.
