Juniper Gardens has two venues on 1 property that are rented separately. Both venues embrace nature with hiking trails and bonfire pits, and mid-century modern style throughout. Our original outdoor venue (Juniper Gardens - Fieldstone) features a covered pavilion, jaw-dropping stone fireplace ceremony site, and treehouse. In Fall 2024, our new indoor/outdoor venue (Juniper Gardens - Hillside) opens. The new space offers a courtyard garden ceremony site, indoor reception space, bar, and prep kitchen.

Situated just a short 20-minute drive from downtown Kansas City, 1890 Weddings + Events stands as a distinguished 16-acre wedding and event venue, recognized for its historic charm and elegance. The main venue, 1890, showcases a splendid grand ballroom adorned with chandelier lighting, a versatile cocktail barn, and ample space to accommodate up to 350 guests comfortably including overnight options. Positioned at the property's entrance is a captivating Victorian Era home, originally constructed in 1872 and tastefully remodeled in 1890, offering a picturesque backdrop for your special day.

Housed in the restored Fire Station No. 31, Fire House KC has been meticulously renovated with tradition and elegance. Throughout the entire space, several preserved accessories and artifacts from the era are showcased, including the original fire pole, antique fire hose cart, and fire hose shaft. Blending the history of the area with modern infusions, Fire House KC is now a classy, elegant, and charming event space. The main hall showcases original brick walls and windows, with antique chandeliers adding a touch of elegant refinement. The second floor, which once housed the offices and sleeping quarters for one-duty workers, now features multiple suites for the wedding parties to prepare as well as a perfect intimate ceremony room. A private courtyard space is also available, making an ideal area for a ceremony, cocktail hour or for guests to enjoy a breath of fresh air. Newlyweds-to-be can host both ceremonies and receptions at Fire House KC and have access to the entire space.

Nestled on 110 acres of beautiful Missouri land just off of I-29, Timber Ridge Event Center offers an experience unmatched by anyone else. We are the perfect venue for weddings, graduation parties, birthdays, and more. Our barn has over 3,200 square feet for guests to enjoy inside, as well as over 1,000 square feet of patio space, allowing guests to relax and take in some of Kansas and Missouri's finest views.

Located in Peculiar, Missouri, The Dogwood Gardens is a modern take on a rustic-style wedding event venue. The property is inclusive of eight and a half acres, full of scenic nature and ideal photo backdrops. Inside, couples will find separate get-ready spaces as well as a staircase tucked under a stunning balcony that leads back to the primary celebration area. Also accessible is a large professional prep area for caterers. This space allows a location for chefs to use, composing food to be served fresh. Fitted with a built-in bar, this venue offers up a dedicated area where couples can serve the drinks of their choice. During the celebration, in the main room, an 85-inch screen may be used for slideshows or presentations. Our 2,592 square feet of indoor rental space can accommodate up to 175 guests or be paired down to provide a more intimate setting. We offer a unique, affordable, and flexible outdoor event space on a beautifully manicured estate set in a historic residential neighborhood with stunning panoramic views of Kessler Park, Missouri River valley and the Kansas City Museum. The (Edward A.) Stevens House is a neo-classical Colonial Revival mansion built in 1902 as a multigenerational family home. The Stevens were known as a pioneer Kansas City family acquiring their wealth from the local real estate boom of the late 1800's. The mansion has been lovingly maintained through the years resulting in its placement on the National Register of Historic Places for architectural integrity. It is rich in Kansas City history with ties to pioneer T.M. James (uncle to Frank and Jesse), Tom Pendergast, the local Italian mob, and recently featured in the film, Nelly Don, The Musical Movie. ​

Under the Woods Event Center was created when our eldest son and future daughter-in-law were searching for a location wedding. Our family realized we had the perfect location and beautiful acreage on our rolling Ozark hills to build a gorgeous event venue that would be perfect for their fit event and many future events. We designed a climate controlled barn conveniently located on Highway 71 in Jane, Missouri, one mile north of Bella Vista, Arkansas.

This historic space first opened for business in 1922 as a silent movie house, called the Rosedale Theatre, and was revamped as The Vox Theatre in the 1940s. The building's art deco craftsmanship, seen through vibrant brick inlays offers a dramatic entrance into the space. Once inside, the 6,500 square foot building boasts 20' high ceilings and sweeping views throughout the main event space; your gaze will wander to the original stage valence framed by customized architectural lighting. Plush red velvet curtains greet you upon entering the space, and boldly frame the 16ft wide elevated stage. Where theatre seating once was, the space is now completely open concept, offering uninterrupted sight-lines and allowing creative flexibility in how you arrange your event.

The Pilgrim Center and its predecessor have been building community in midtown, Kansas City, Missouri for nearly 50 years. In the late-1960’s, a group of involved neighborhood leaders first gathered in Westport to address the issues of violence and crime that were overtaking their historic neighborhood. Out of their discussions, the Westport Allen Center was born, and two young seminarians, Roger and Liz Coleman, were invited to lead this organization. The Westport Allen Center purchased a building and began offering the space free to groups interested in improving the community. Before long, the first Free Clinic in the area opened, rehearsal space was provided for what would become the Kansas City Ballet, the Allen Edison school was founded, and affordable housing for seniors created in the neighborhood. Making childcare, education, healthcare, senior living, and arts programming available to the area were big steps in rebuilding a healthier community for Westport.
