About this venue

Eventful At Locust Grove is on a farm that was established in 1847 and was named Locust Grove. The home on the property is a beautiful backdrop for your photos. The garden space is where we do our ceremonies, the ceremony area sits next to a field that is either planted in corn or soybeans and is a gorgeous view for your guests. Next door sits our reception venue that is covered with Kansas limestone to give it an old barn feel. There are some cool architectural details inside including white columns and vintage chandeliers. We have a leather Chesterfield sofa in the front room with some leather club chairs and other seating for your guests. It's a great first layer of decor for you to come in and put your spin on for your big day. We offer lots of decor for you to use for the tables and we will set it all up for you once you have made your selections. That leaves you with less to do but the final layer of "fairy dust" to add to your vision.

The Main Room

This is where you will party the night away!

The front room is where the dining tables and chairs, plus the 10' zinc top buffet table is located. It wraps around to where the dance floor sits. There is also a front room that has some comfy seating included in this space - all of it is approx 5000 square feet.

    We had our wedding at Eventful At Locust Grove in June and it was AMAZing! Such a great venue, especially for cost; the overall charm and feel is fantastic. Christi and her family were great to work with and made everything perfect. We got some any compliments from our guests on how beautiful the wedding was.

    Eventful At Locust Grove was an amazing choice for our wedding venue. From the very beginning, their communication was timely, open-minded, and genuinely kind. The day-of coordinator was incredible - she checked in on us throughout the event and made sure we had everything we needed. The venue itself was so comfortable and had amazing views, with an eclectic and unique style that really fit our vision. Our guests raved about the beautiful space and the overall experience.
