Nazareth Hall is known throughout the region as a banquet and wedding facility, but it’s the rich history and lush setting that draws people here. Built in 1927 as an all-boy Catholic boarding school. It eventually evolved into a renowned military school for boys. Throughout its history the school stayed true to its Catholic roots and the nuns who served and taught here. Operating until 1982 the stories written within its walls are still told today. Re-emerging with a new mission and purpose in April of 1991, Nazareth Hall was reborn. It is in this picturesque place, reminiscent of castles of old, that brides come to be married and celebrate with family and friends in grand ballrooms. There is never any issue, everything flows very smoothly, the food is absolutely amazing and it’s so beautiful! Each hall room has its own vibe and can be decorated so many different ways making every wedding different and unique. We absolutely love being here and don’t even get me started on how awesome the staff members are! Abby and her team are so pleasant to work with! You can tell they genuinely care about you making your wedding day perfect!

Scioto Reserve Country Club was the perfect venue for our wedding day. Their communication style was always quick and readily available - they responded to emails and calls in a very timely manner, providing information just when we needed it during the planning process. The venue itself is inclusive and beautiful, with a spacious bridal suite for getting ready onsite. The day of coordination provided by their staff was also fantastic. They helped everything run smoothly without us having to worry about a thing. From the beautiful ceremony backdrop overlooking the golf course, to the elegant ballroom for our reception, Scioto Reserve offered everything we could have wanted for our special day. Their staff attended to every detail and request. We would highly recommend Scioto Reserve Country Club for any couple's wedding or special event.

We hosted our party here in the Fall, and it was so beautiful! The venue is unlike anything you'd expect in Columbus and it checked all the boxes for my vision... cannot say enough good things. The staff was so helpful, and Halle and Katie really went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and that our vision came to life. So grateful to this venue and team. Brookshire caught our attention when searching for venues for their beautiful ceremony outdoor space and the all inclusive aspects of the venue. Both of those impressed us throughout the whole wedding planning process and afterwards when seeing our wedding photos. Kira was our amazing coordinator through Brookshire and she was very easy to communicate with and helped us plan the details for our big day. Leading up to it and on the day of we felt confident that with her and the staff everything would run smoothly. With Brookshire being all-inclusive it was very easy to pick out the details we wanted regarding cake, centerpieces, linens, food/drink, dj and more because Brookshire had all of those vendors booked for us. We just got to tell each vendor our ideas and then they took care of the work making it come to life at Brookshire. We were glad we could also bring some personal touches into Brookshire and have the coordinators help us arrange those. All of our guests were impressed with the food quality, the outdoor and indoor space along with the smoothness of how the wedding day ran. We truly got to enjoy our day as Brookshire was very organized and made sure our day was just how we wanted it to be. The workers and owners are very welcoming and will help with any request that you have. I absolutely loved my reception, from the minute we walked in the door, the staff took care of everything. If you had a question or request it was already done. You don’t have to worry about anything, all you have to do is have a good time!

We love working with couples at Nationwide Hotel for several reasons. First, it is logistically so much easier for couples to have everything taking place in one location. They can stay overnight the night before, get ready there, ceremony, photos, reception, and then afterward all of their guests can stay right there. This means there is no need to coordinate guest transportation, off-site hotels, bridal party transportation for photos, or have an elongated break for photography after the ceremony since it is much faster to do on site. Second, there are plenty of outdoor spaces for couples or bridal party photos if it rains! This is a huge advantage that not all venues have and rain is a real concern for an Ohio wedding. Third, there is a variety of spots on the property for doing group or couples photos. You can have the look of brick, green lawn, the beautiful pergola with all the greenery, the iconic covered walkway, some flowers, a tree-lined area where the leaves change colors SO perfectly in the Fall, and of course the fountain! By the way, the pond is amazing for sunset photos! We have been at Nationwide many times as photographers and always had a great experience. The food was always hot and served on schedule, and their staff is so friendly and genuinely wants to create the best experience for their guests. You cannot go wrong with any of their event spaces!

My wife and I held our wedding reception at The Grand in September 2023, and we couldn't have been more pleased with the outcome! We had booked the space about 18 months prior in early 2022 and at that time, there was a different chef and day-of coordinator than those we ended up with by the time of our wedding. While these and some other changes were a bit stressful in the months leading up to our big day, this space has a lot to offer, and we ended up in good hands with Olivia, who was far better at communicating than the prior DoC. Everything came together beautifully on our wedding day, and we received a lot of compliments about the food (prepared onsite by Chef Travis) from our guests. The event center's immediate connection to the adjoining hotel is also a bonus for guests' peace of mind, and we appreciated the free parking. Grandview Yard has definitely elevated its status in recent years with new shops, housing, and food options, and we enjoyed being close to downtown where many of our photo locations and our ceremony space were also located. It's also worth noting that this space felt more authentic than a lot of the other places we looked at around town. There are a lot of "cookie-cutter" venues out there, but we felt that we had a uniquely tailored experience at The Grand. Overall, I can't recommend this place enough, and I think it's a fair value for the money!

So so so pleased with my experience at The Retreat!! Our wedding turned out better than we could have imagined thanks to the staff's hard work and attention to detail. We had a very specific vision for our wedding and they were communicative, accommodating, and went above and beyond to help us have our DREAM day!!!! We also stayed the night in the house and there was plenty of room for us and our whole bridal party and it made a perfect and stunning space for both bride and groom's sides to get ready. The house (and entire property) felt like home, exactly what we wanted and could not have asked for more!!!

We chose Le Meridien Columbus for both our ceremony and reception. This was the best decision we made for our wedding. In the heart of the Short North, the location is unbeatable. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and offered our guests an excellent and upscale stay for the weekend. As the bride, my group got ready in the presidential suite, which I highly recommend. This gave us (and especially the hair & makeup teams) enough space to get ready for the day. The hotel is connected to The Guild House, so they provide all of the food for the wedding reception. The food was top tier. You have plenty of menu options to select from and you can customize the experience as much as you want. We loved it because we were all in one location and this made the timeline such a breeze. Last, the Catering Sales Mgr. Sheri was our #1 help through it all. You meet with her and the team a number of times throughout the planning process. She was so helpful and communicative with us through everything. If you are considering a location in the Short North, Le Meridien is the place to book.

They were flexible and easy to plan with out-of-state, and they were accommodating for me to visit and see the new renovations.
