Retreat 21 provides all-inclusive services to make planning your big day a simple process. Surrounded by 64 acres of rolling meadows and lush foliage, this property offers a naturally beautiful setting. You will find a stunning selection of indoor and outdoor venue spaces. One of the most awe-inspiring areas on the property is the ceremony tree. Alternatively, you can host your ceremony at the Waterfront or inside our industrial-chic atrium. Keep the celebration going with a grand reception of up to 300 seated guests indoors. The auditorium and atrium spaces feature bright walls, natural light, and touches of greenery.

The Atrium is a multi-use space which can be utilized for an indoor ceremony of 250 people or less, and is often an essential part of a cocktail hour and reception. For large scale weddings where the Auditorium is full with dining tables, the Atrium serves as your open dancing space!

The Garden Suite - your space to prepare and unwind before and during the celebration

The Garden Suite is utilized by couples for preparations involving hair, makeup, and dressing. Relax while you prepare for your best day ever, with expansive space for makeup and hair artists, lounge furniture, table seating, and a private outdoor patio.

    Retreat21 is, without a doubt, the most stunning and unique wedding venue in all of Columbus. As a vendor who has worked countless weddings across the area, I can confidently say that no other venue offers the same combination of natural beauty, modern amenities, and exceptional service. I’ve had the pleasure of being involved with a few weddings at Retreat21, and every time I step onto the property, I’m reminded why it’s such a special place. From the moment you arrive, you’re transported into a serene retreat that feels worlds away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, but is still just a few short minutes away from Columbus. The venue itself is breathtaking. The modern building is sleek yet inviting, perfectly balanced with natural touches that make it feel warm and welcoming. The outdoor ceremony space, complete with a big, beautiful tree as a backdrop, is simply magical—ideal for couples looking for a romantic, nature-filled setting. Beyond that, the property boasts a giant natural swimming pool with a private cabin on its shore for the bride and groom, as well as several other cabins and geo domes that provide guests with a one-of-a-kind overnight experience. One of the best things about Retreat21 is that even after the wedding festivities are over, couples and their guests can continue to celebrate and relax in their accommodations, truly making it a weekend to remember. Adding to its charm, the venue features a vineyard and stunning lavender fields, enhancing the overall ambiance and providing gorgeous backdrops for photos. There’s also a rustic tap house that serves cider made on-site and is available for rehearsal dinners and opens to the public during the warmer months, allowing couples to return and relive the magic of their wedding day. But what truly sets Retreat21 apart is its incredible staff. The wedding team is exceptional—quick to respond, always professional, and endlessly accommodating. I’ve worked directly with Michaela, the Wedding Director, and I can say with certainty that she puts her whole heart into every wedding she helps bring to life. Her passion and dedication, along with the rest of the team, ensure that every event is seamless and stress-free. Having been to nearly every premier venue in Columbus, I can confidently say that no other place offers what Retreat21 does. It’s more than just a wedding venue—it’s an experience, a retreat, and a place where unforgettable memories are made. If you’re looking for a venue that truly has it all, Retreat21 is the one.

    As a Columbus Wedding photographer, I get to work at Retreat 21 a couple of times of year so I get to see the venue at various seasons and weather. It is flawless no matter what season, and just keeps getting better each time I'm there. The venue staff is absolutely some of the very best.
