“I can't recommend this company enough! From my first interaction with Rob to working with Nick on our wedding day, everything was so smooth and professional. I was looking for a non-traditional wedding DJ, someone who wasn't too cheesy or "in your face," and that is exactly what I found with this company. We loved working with Nick M. and had chosen him specifically because he was recommended for the type of music we prefer. He read the room and understood the vibe we were going for and was able to fill in the blanks in our provided playlists perfectly. We got so many compliments from guests regarding how good the music was, which made us really happy. Nick was also very flexible and accommodating as we had a lot of last-minute song choices (night before and day-of). He did everything to make sure we were on the same page with the song choices and song order, especially regarding the grand entrance and first dance songs. My only regret is that I didn't get to talk to Nick more amongst the craziness of the wedding day! I would highly recommend Second Song and Nick M. for all your wedding DJ needs!”

“The Hook Club was by far the coolest musicians I was able to find in terms of having an NYC night out vibe, and not a typical "wedding" vibe. We had a bass and guitar duo for our cocktail hour. They were super nice and awesome musicians. It started raining an hour into our cocktails so we had to move inside, and the bassist switched to playing a piano so that we could continue the music inside. Everyone was so impressed by how multi-talented they were!! Loved them and wish we had them play music for more of our reception. Dan, the founder, as well as the rest of their staff were incredibly organized and attentive throughout the planning process. Highly recommend!!”

The feedback from the attendees was that the trio was fantastic and they really added to the atmosphere of the event. “Our experience working with Jamie and Ceremony DJs can be best summed up by the fact that multiple people told us after the ceremony they wanted to book him for their wedding and at least one got his business card! I can't imagine a better DJ, truly. When we first met with Jamie, he said he could make people dance to anything and would keep people on the dance floor all night, and he WAS NOT LYING. The whole night, the dance floor was PACKED even though it was rainy/muddy/cold/wet. Jamie took us on a journey that covered all of the bases of the music we love to hear and dance to, seamlessly and magically (?) integrating genres with the best mixes, it was pure wizardry and really captured who we were. We as a couple care a lot about music and wanted music that represented who we were and what we like to listen to, and he did not disappoint! So much prep work went into this, he took patience and time to try to understand our tastes and vibe, and it was so cool to have the wedding played on vinyl- basically, Jamie just "got it" from start to finish and we had the best time! Our wedding also got delayed due to rain and a road closure and he was such a good sport, staying late to keep us all dancing for a whole other hour- so fun! Also, when our ceremony musician was stuck in traffic due to the storm, he was so prepared and had our prelude/processional music downloaded so we could still walk down the aisle to the songs we'd chosen. Overall, such a cool, kind, funny guy who was professional and prepared in every way and honest just takes time to meet and know his clients, and clearly just loves to share his love of music. I would book him for everything if I could. BOOK THIS DJ. You will NOT regret it!”

Guests are sending me videos they took. Being in the experience was one thing. Watching the videos, I couldn’t stop crying at how beautiful it turned out. The smoke machine and sparklers just brought everything together. Everyone RAVED about the 360 booth. And the MUSIC. We didnt stop moving all night. I got so many phone calls that week about how great the music was, how sore people were from dancing all night lol. We had a diverse group of people and he was able to reach everyone. “A wedding is a grueling process and I remember at the end of the night my husband and I found ourselves kind of sad looking at Seth. It was like we were breaking up with him, he was our first vendor and to contact each other for almost a year and a half it was a sad moment. For me as a bride he was like my best friend I vent to and basically took my coordinator role. He calmed me when this went south (postponement of the wedding and my original coordinator dropped out a month left of the wedding) and for my husband... he vibes with Seth through Seth's music. My husband is SO PICKY with our wants and needs as a DJ and Seth swept him away just by listening to his mixes. My husband says his transitions from song to song is smooth and song selections are on point. Then after taking to him we were sold! The most genuine person you will ever meet, he does this for the love of music and it shows. He works hard to make it easy for you, is on top of things, responsive to all e-mails, and takes his time. He does so much more for your buck and we made sure he knew that! Also we have been coordinating everything out of state, so he takes the time to make sure he can fit himself in my almost impossible work/life schedule (working out of the house for more than 12 hrs) we I truly appreciate. So in short BOOK HIM! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME INQUIRING SOMEONE ELSE because if I could (because we live out of state) I would book him over and over again! What I really need him to do is live here in LV so I can book him over and over again!”

The planning process was very organized— lots of thoughtful communication on what pictures we wanted, moments to be sure to capture, etc. The entire day ran smoothly, and we were very happy with the shots the photographer and videographer were taking (all the fun getting-ready pics, first look, etc). “Lauren is amazing! When we decided to elope, we had no idea where to even get start. When we found Lauren, she immediately put all of our worries to rest. She immediately knew who to use as an officiant and gave us all the best locations that she could think of. She was definitely more than just our photographer! When we also told her that Peter is a wheelchair user she quickly adjusted the plans and found locations that were easily accessible. On the day of the wedding, Lauren hooked us up and found a beautiful mountain backdrop for our actual little ceremony. Even with all of that, when our rental car got stuck in the snow, she called and got us a tow (for free, it was her father-in-law, lol). We cannot recommend Lauren enough and we are for sure going to use her again whenever we head back to Washington.”
