We booked her to photograph our engagement party and she was very easy to work with the entire time, not to mention she kept the party on track and made sure to get all the shots we wanted. Mae perfectly captured the vibe I wanted for the party which was candid, dynamic, and fun, in both digital and film. She is highly skilled and had a quick turnaround for the pictures too. Hello! My name is Aanna and I can't wait to meet you. When I was seven years old, my parents gifted me with a tape recorder. It became my aim to document life in my home and beyond—an ongoing narration. Fast forward a few years and I brought my journalism to a new level when I spent my hard earned money on a camera. The rest is history—and a longer story for a future coffee date :) For as long as I can remember, I have been observing and responding to the stories and visuals around me; and it has only become more exciting with every person I meet and event I photograph!

Working with Aanna was an absolute dream for our wedding! She is truly a one woman show and spent 8 hours with us and never missed a shot. She was incredibly helpful in making us feel comfortable in front of the camera and was able to capture us beautifully in both candid and curated shots. Dan Thorson Photography

My approach comes as more of a laid back, effortless, but fun experience. A wedding day can be low key stressful and even hectic at times, and if we’re being honest, most people are just wanting to get it over with. So that’s where I come in, I want you to be an active part of the day, to take in every second of it, be present and enjoy yourself. There are a lot of choices out there for photographers and even some of my friends themselves are greatly talented. My approach is simple, fall in love with the work, and if you like what you see, reach out, I’d love to hear from you. Be well.

Dan Thorson Photography was the perfect choice for our wedding photography. From the start, their communication was efficient yet thorough, making the planning process a breeze. On the day of the wedding, Dan expertly captured all the special moments, even getting all of our formal photos done in just an hour between the ceremony and reception. The quality of their work is truly expert level - the photos are stunning and we couldn't be happier with how they turned out. We highly recommend Dan Thorson Photography to any couple looking for a talented and professional wedding photographer.

Leah Flores Photography

I am a photographer and artist from the Pacific Northwest with Costa Rican and Scottish roots. My favorite things are dinosaurs, exploring new cities, board games, soccer, National Parks, and whiskey. I have been fortunate to photograph 200+ weddings in my PNW home, to ruins in Scotland, cityscapes in Vietnam, to the beaches of Maui, and beyond! I live in Portland, Oregon with my two dogs and three cats | 🏳️‍🌈🦖⛰️✈️📸⚽🫶🏼🌈🌲🦕🏝 Fun Fact: I was born on Leap Year Day so I'm 9 years old 🥳!

Awarded Best of Zola
I could write a book about Leah; or at least a very detailed blog post but I'll try to keep it shorter! As a fellow professional photographer, I got the opportunity to meet Leah and work with her as her 2nd photographer on a wedding. It took that one amazing experience and absolute blast of a time to know that whenever it was I got married she was THE photographer for me. Fast forward some years later it was finally my turn to tie the knot and my now husband and I chose our date based on when Leah was available, because there was no other option for me! I have gotten to work with dozens of photographers throughout my going on 10 year career, and I'm telling y'all, it doesn't get better than Leah. The photos - amazing! I love her eye for details, the crispness, the colors! Not to mention she is such a beautiful soul with the best personality and energy, with the professionalism to get a gallery worth of beautiful photos with you barely realizing she's there. While going through our gallery, I was stunned and overjoyed so many times to see things I had NO idea happened or even photos of people that I unfortunately didn't get to spend much time with yet seeing that they still enjoyed themselves. In my opinion, a photographer is the most important vendor you can choose for your wedding day. I am so thankful my experience in the wedding industry allowed me to cross paths with Leah because that made a really important decision very easy for me. And I hope my review can help other soonlyweds out there make a hard decision easier. You will not go wrong choosing Leah to photograph your big day!

Their warmth and friendliness instantly put us at ease, making the entire experience feel effortless and fun. The calls before the wedding to go over details were incredibly helpful, ensuring everything ran smoothly on the big day. I'm Cassie, I am a photographer based just north of Atlanta Georgia. While I absolutely love serving the local couples, I travel too! I enjoy being a part of the biggest day of many peoples lives and I LIVE for watching it unfold and capturing what happens.

Cassie is genuinely one of the best photographers i’ve worked with. She made sure that we got all the pictures that we wanted, she helped us film a tiktok, she also helped me put my shoes on. The photos she took were so candid and showed how genuinely happy everyone was to be there. I 100% recommend Cassie as a wedding photographer, as she is one of the most talented and empathetic photographers i have ever had the pleasure of working with. Please book her, she is 1000000% worth it!

Hi, I'm McKenna! The person behind the camera and a hopeless romantic. I describe my photography style as candid, romantic, and timeless. My goal is to make a human connection with all my clients and deliver images that you'll love forever. I started 1828 Collective in 2016 after I realized that capturing relationships and telling love stories was my passion. Four years later I'm so in love with my job that I often forget I'm working. I find joy in capturing love, hearing about how you met, and everything in between.

I have had the pleasure of knowing McKenna for a few years. She has been a critical part in capturing my ever changing life, and I would not want it any other way! Any one in search of a professional photographer who captures every sweet moment all while being a center for calmness in chaos, this is your girl!!!

What do you imagine your wedding to be like? Imagination is a nice gift we have. It helps us building our identities and shaping our individual uniqueness. Imagining carries a degree of anticipation, depending on our past experiences and who we are, of how something that hasn't happened yet is going to be when it actually happens. Like traveling to a place where we've never been before and we take photos of its landscapes and people living there: we tend to capture in those photographs how we had imagined that place. A wedding is a destination in the journey of life, perhaps the most important one.

Salvatore (Milieu) made our wedding day even more special than we could have expected. We LOVED his beautiful and creative ways of capturing our most special moments (if you look at his portfolio, you will know exactly what I mean). He is so very kind, professional, and made us so comfortable. He was so accommodating and helped us come up with a way to get all of the photos we wanted within the time frame we had to work with. I can go on and on about how much we loved working with Salvatore! He is truly a 1 of a kind find and we HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend him!
