Oury Memories

  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $1,200

I have been a photographer for 8 years. Throughout my time as a photographer I’ve captured clothing, models, and memories. I shifted from corporate shootings to families and weddings because it gave me this warm fuzzy feeling when I edited my couples and families photos. Don’t be afraid to reach out to me and ask about my photography style, my editing style, or my favorite restaurant! I highly recommend scheduling a free consulting session!

Awarded Best of Zola
Grace was just amazing. For a day that was overwhelming and very stressful, I cannot thank her enough for her calm and kindness. My now husband and I are usually not "photo people", as we tend to be more introverts than anything else, and she went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Her professionalism and guidance during the shoot can be described as more than stellar. I will definitely recommend her to all of my friends who will be getting married soon. During all the chaos, I was extremely thankful to have chosen her as our photographer.

Capture the North was founded by multi-award-winning, and published photographer Sarah K. Marshall, and her husband, Christopher Marshall. Both are Marine Corps veterans and native New Englanders. Despite traveling across the world while serving in the Marine Corps, there is still something so magical about the New England area for them. Sarah was named Department of Defense Military Photographer of the Year 2020, and Marine Corps Photographer of the Year 2020 + 2021. Her work has been displayed in the National Museum of the Marine Corps and her imagery was the cover art of Leatherneck Magazine.

Awarded Best of Zola
Sarah is an amazing photographer. I looked at probably a dozen other photographers for our wedding, but my fiancé and I were both super impressed with Sarah’s work and affordability. We recently had our engagement photos done and I was an anxious mess since I don’t normally wear make up or have my photos taken. However, I’m OBSESSED with how the photos came out. I feel so pretty looking at them and they truly represent our love and goofy relationship. Cannot wait to see the photos from our wedding next year.

Hey hey 👋, I’m LaDonna. Wedding photographer & videographer with a passion for celebrating the love stories of couples from all walks of life. Growing up in the suburbs of Boston and attending undergrad in Connecticut, I’m a true New England gal. Winter holds a special place in my heart, as I embrace the beauty and charm of every location I photograph. I’m always delighted to travel wherever your love story takes you—even an Aspen winter elopement. That would honestly make my heart smile! 😊 My mission: create timeless, heirloom-quality artwork that reflects the unique connection & individuality of each couple I have the honor to serve.

Awarded Best of Zola
I’m typically shy and not very photogenic, so I was extremely anxious about how our wedding photos would turn out. But after finding LaDonna through a Facebook ad, I immediately knew I wouldn’t have to worry if she was our photographer. She took the time to understand me and helped me find my confidence in front of the camera. By the wedding day, I felt completely at ease and able to focus on the moment with my husband rather than my insecurities in my head. LaDonna and the LT² team captured everything beautifully, balancing candid moments with fine art shots that truly tell our story. The photos are so authentic, and I’ll cherish these memories forever, along with the confidence I gained. Thank you, LaDonna, for an unforgettable experience! 3 7.27.24

Hi ya’ll! I’m Nat. I’m a southerner who’s recently moved to New England. I am thrilled to be a photographer and part of making memories with you! There is something truly special about being the person who creates lasting stories to share. My love for photography began when my great grandmother gave me her point and shoot camera, and since then, I have been hooked. Some of my favorite things include espresso tonics, thunderstorms, and bookstores. As a photographer, I live for the fleeting moments of light and stories. I do my best to capture those moments with my cameras, and I find great joy in doing so.

We loved working with Nat! She helped us figure out what our priorities for photographs were and totally nailed it at the party. She was flexible and so easy to work with. And the pictures came out great!

I am a caffeine addict who never sleeps. I love a good thunderstorm and playing Candy Crush for the brain breaks. I adore all kinds of dogs, but I have a special love for German Shepherds. My all-time favorite thing is to sit by the fire with a glass of good cabernet or watch the ocean waves hit the beach. I love to garden and to build things (but I let my husband to finish all my projects LOL). I enjoy good food and will likely refer to a stand up comedy routine at least once in a conversation. I am also a football mom, lacrosse mom and basketball mom. Wife to a very understanding husband and emotional support person for my big puppies.

Awarded Best of Zola
Our wedding day was nothing short of magical, and much of that was thanks to our incredible photographer, Silvia. From our first meeting, her calm demeanor and positive outlook put us at ease. Silvia has a unique ability to blend into the background, capturing candid moments that truly reflect the joy and love of the day. Her calm presence was a soothing force during the hustle and bustle, making us feel relaxed and natural in front of the camera. Every photo she took is a testament to her talent and passion for her work. Silvia didn’t just take pictures; she told our love story through her lens, and for that, we are forever grateful. We couldn’t have asked for a better person to capture our special day.

Hello! My name is A.R. Clark. I am a photographer and videographer from Bangor, Maine. I love the joy that comes with capturing these magnificent days, and I aim to show everything about your wedding in gorgeous tones and lighting. My style is best described as vintage with influences from old hollywood. I have worked every type of wedding and I love to travel!

We feel so lucky to have found Andrew as our wedding photographer. He has an incredible eye for the editorial style and makes his photos into works of art with golden light and chiaroscuro. So many photographers just rely on their high-res equipment but don't offer anything more--I don't want a macro shot of every pore or line on my face like an owl in a tree at 100 yards, I want to have a sense of magic and beauty in every photo. Andrew actually does that. I almost cried when I saw our first look photos because I don't feel very confident being photographed and I finally had dozens of photos of myself and my husband that I want to share with friends immediately and cherish forever. He delivered the first look so fast, even though I know he was busy working another wedding; I thought for sure we would have to wait longer. The wedding package we chose included very nice touches like polaroids so we had something in hand at the end of the wedding day itself, too. It was very thoughtful and left us feeling good about the whole experience right away. He was very personal and nice to work with, but not intrusive, and went with the little schedule changes we had, and was open to suggestions while we took post-ceremony photos around the city. I couldn't be happier with our experience with him and would recommend him highly to anyone looking for a real artist for their wedding photography.

BrightWorks Photography

5.0

I have a long history as a photographer, starting in my twenties with large format view cameras, publishing a book of black and white portraits of Newfoundlanders, studying under Ansel Adams at his Yosemite workshops, and with Aaron Siskind and Harry Callahan at the Rhode Island School of Design. Now, my cameras and equipment are all the latest digital models, but I still rely on my experience and a well trained eye for capturing the optimal moment.

Awarded Best of Zola
I truly cannot recommend Brightworks enough - it was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! The entire experience with Brightworks was incredibly thoughtful and personal. Steve, Rebecca and Gabe took such thought, care and time in getting to know us - first over Zoom and then at our engagement shoot - and it was so clearly reflected in our photos. They perfectly planned and executed out engagement shoot, having scouted several locations and taking into account timing and lighting, and the results were incredible! Steve and Rebecca were so helpful in providing posing tips and immediately made us feel comfortable in front of the camera - this allowed us to get the best possible photos while still feeling relaxed and like ourselves! This also meant that once we got to the wedding day, we were totally comfortable in front of their camera(s). Brightworks put a huge amount of thought and effort into structuring a timeline for the wedding day, which not only made the day run so smoothly but also allowed us to capture all of the moments we wanted. They solicited our thoughts and input, adjusting their plans accordingly, and seamlessly divided photography tasks between them not capture every angle of the day from the posed to the candid! Brightworks was able to capture so many moments not only between me and my husband but also for each one of our guests and loved ones, which was so incredibly special. Not only this, but they were so kind, receptive, responsive, and wonderful to work with through the entire process! We are thrilled with the results, and are absolutely in AWE of their work - do yourself a favor and book them ASAP!!

A Charleston Wedding Photographer with a fierce love for storytelling, fostering memories and capturing those moments that you will want to treasure forever. I get to tell your story. And, I think that’s pretty cool. I love traveling everywhere and anywhere, talking with my hands, buying plants (and attempting to keep them alive), and spending as much time as I can with my loved ones. I have lived in Boston, Paris, and New York City, and am now lucky enough to call Charleston home, while also still traveling the world for my clients. You can usually find me on my back porch in downtown Charleston, right next to my favorite little park.

tldr: Jessica is amazing and I don’t think you can go wrong with her if this is the style of photos you like I had a lot of difficulty picking a photographer as I’m pretty picky with photos. I knew I wanted something bright and light, with kind of a whimsical or ethereal vibe, but it was really hard finding the style until I came across the “fine art” style. Jessica’s name came up while researching this style and I decided to reach out to her among a few other fine art photographers. I definitely hoped talks would go well with Jessica as the others I contacted ended up either not responding or were wildly out of my budget. Pre-Planning: Jessica was wonderful throughout this process. She promptly responded to my emails and answered questions clearly. I never felt like I was left in the dark for any part of the process. When I sent her the timeline of the ceremony/reception, she quickly came up with a timeline to slot in all the photos to be taken ahead of time at the location (We had access to the venue for a little over an hour prior to the ceremony). She also asked for a list of family photos that we wanted to take. This made it very easy at the wedding as she could call out people’s name to make sure everyone that was supposed to be in the pictures, were in the pictures. Jessica also sent over a list of ideas for detail shots and explained she could do this ahead of time. We didn’t want extra pictures of these and decided against it, however, I still thought it was very thoughtful of her to offer. Wedding Day: I loved her energy at the wedding. She was very calm and felt very competent. She directed my husband and I throughout the pictures, showing us poses etc. During family and wedding party photos, even though we had many bodies to fit in the frame in quite a few pictures, she led us through them with ease and the entire experience was very stress free (or as stress free as can be at a wedding lol). The venue was quite dim at specific locations, but the final results did not reflect that at all. The pictures were bright and did not look like they were taken in the dark at all. (This is a little off topic but I loved the little apron with pockets she wore for her equipment. So cute) I’m not sure when Jessica had the time, but there were pictures around the venue which were so beautiful. I definitely feel like the day was captured through the pictures. Post Wedding: Jessica sent us a sneak peak 2 days after the wedding containing 23 pictures. They turned out great and were beautiful. You can see examples on her website so I won’t elaborate, but they really are that good. The full gallery was sent almost a month after the wedding (minus 2 days) with instructions on purchasing prints or an album attached. The full download contained 650ish files, including the sneak peek pictures. Half of which were black and white, so this matched up pretty perfectly with Jessica’s estimation of the amount of photos when we spoke in the pre-planning stage.

Homeschoolin, Home birthin, and Holistic mama that loves to capture Life and Love in it's truest moments and forms. My business has been a decade in the making from falling in love with photography in high school, to now... My love for Milkweed and my time spent living in Iowa has inspired my business name. I used to live near a conservation center with fields of milkweed. My children and I spent many days enjoying this haven of beauty and were blessed to see thousands of Monarch butterflies migrate to the Milkweed. I realize how fleeting these moments are and would love to capture your story!

So easy to work with and professional! My labor went very quickly so photos were in the immediate postpartum. I love how each detail was captured so intimately to tell the story, so I can look back on those moments. She respected the environment and helped in any way to make sure I felt cared for-above and beyond being a photographer. We also did some newborn/family photos a few days later and she was very patient with my full of energy toddler, all while capturing the sweet details of our newborn. All of the photos are beautiful!! When I asked for a few edits to the gallery it was done and updated for me quickly.

Meeting around 10 years ago and instantly becoming best friends, Jason and Nichole have now been married for 5 beautiful years. They share two children and when they aren't creating amazing wedding day memories for their clients they are out exploring. You can find them skiing, hiking, camping, and even traveling the country in their van when time permits!

Nichole and Jason have been nothing but professional throughout our booking process, engagement photos, and wedding weekend. All of the photos we've received so far we have been absolutely blown away with how good they are. They were great communicating to make sure our needs were met. We felt so comfortable with them and see them not only as our wedding photographer and videographer but someone my husband and I could be friends with. They were really great making sure our Indian fusion wedding was beautifully captured. I can't wait to see all of the photos but the sneak peaks were so good. They also asked questions about the ceremonies that we had to ensure they knew how best to document as well as wanting to sincerely learn more about the culture. You will not regret hiring these two. I would hire them both again in a heartbeat! This husband/wife team creates magic!

Hey, I'm Mary! It's nice to meet you. Summing up who I am in an "about me" is always difficult. What you must know: (1) I'm a nerd. If you want to talk video games, LOTR or Doctor Who, we HAVE to sit down for a bourbon or a coffee. (2) Yes, I will be out on that dance floor with you snapping away while joining in on the fun. And (3), while I'm a photographer first, supporting you during the planning process feels crucial to me - from building a timeline to having your back any way I can.

Awarded Best of Zola
Mary was an absolute pleasure to work with on our wedding day. Her communication style is easy, clear, and responsive throughout the entire process. The quality of her work and value was exceptional - she captured all the important details in a comfortable and natural way that made us feel at ease. Additionally, Mary was incredibly responsive and organized, answering every question. She even visited our wedding venue with us in advance to scout out the best spots for photos making the day of that much smoother. We are thrilled with the final results and couldn't recommend Mary more highly. She truly made our wedding day so special and we couldn’t imagine the day without her there capturing all the special moments.

I'm Steph, a wanderer at heart, but I'm back to my New England roots living in MA with my husband, and our son, two dogs, and a cat. Becoming a mom has changed me in so many ways, and it's given me a new perspective, especially when it comes to taking photographs. We live in such a fast-paced society focused on Instagram "likes" and trends, that I feel as though we often miss the point of this thing called life. I love capturing the "in-between" moments, and making sure you don't feel rushed on your wedding day. I want to bring back the coffee table photo albums and sharing photos and stories, not scrolling through your socials.

Talking to Stephannie feels like talking to an old friend. The quality of her work is nothing short of amazing - the photos are absolutely beautiful and capture all the special moments of our big day.
