He listened to our requests and added his own magic which I knew he would do. The dance floor was packed!! Matty was perfect in his execution- never stealing the spotlight from the bride and groom and he didn’t sing and shout over the music which we appreciated! (That has a time and place but not for this wedding). He pulled together instrumentals for the ceremony and managed the artists and added musicians at the reception and it really brought out the celebratory vibe of the night. “My husband and I are both musicians, as were many of our wedding guests, so when we were looking for a band to play at our October 2023 wedding in shoreline CT we knew we wanted an established band of kick-butt musicians. We had an initial phone call with Adam and immediately hit it off as fellow musicians! We knew we didn't want line dances or cliche wedding reception songs, and Adam was fully on board. He also mentioned how Around Town is different from other wedding bands - they have played together for years, where other companies just throw together contracted musicians for specific events who might not have ever played together before the day of your event. We loved the transparency about this, and immediately decided to book the Around Town Band, Adam's personal band. They played all through cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. Our guests were already SO impressed by the time we got to dancing, but then we (the band, my husband, and I) surprised them by performing all together! I know it took extra work for the band to learn our requested song in order to surprise our guests, but I had no idea they had also coordinated with my brother (also a musician) to surprise ME with a song! Around Town really went above and beyond to make our wedding reception something out of our dreams. They are true musicians who completely set the tone for our guests - we are still getting compliments a year later, saying that Around Town made the night and is the best wedding band our guests have heard. If you want a band who will knock your guests' socks off, keep everyone dancing literally all night, and impress the musicians in your life, this is the band for you! Some tiny things I would say as a critique/heads up to other couples - we did not receive a set list in advance and communication was a little spotty. One of my main concerns for my wedding was that there would be songs played that I didn't know, so a set list a month or so before the event would have definitely eased those nerves, however one was never promised to us. That being said, we did extensively highlight the song list the band sent us early on to determine what songs they already knew that would fit our vision, so I think the vibe of what we were looking for was pretty clear, and in the end not a single song I didn't know was played! Communication was also a little tricky - we totally understand that the band would be very busy with events on top of keeping up with email communications, but we were sent a link to pay the remainder of our balance before some previous emails with questions were answered - it felt a little backwards and at the time really stressed me out, but it was more than made up for by the wedding day experience itself. Thank you, Adam and team, for being the BEST wedding band we could possibly dream of!”

“The single handed best add to our wedding was the live band. I knew the energy would be unmatched, and when we first heard the Midnight Hour we knew they’d be perfect. Every guest was so impressed, half the time they thought the song was a recording! The highlight was our first dance. “In today's world everything is extremely overpriced and service is terrible. My wedding was very stressful for me because of this. I did not have a DJ or a Photographer and honestly was considering just something small scale, until I talked to Ed from DJ Double E. I would give them 10 stars out 5. From the minute I talked to Ed it was a breath of fresh air from the million other outrageously priced DJ's. The price is unbeatable but that's not why I would recommend them. They are absolutely phenomenal and made my entire wedding. The music was perfect from ceremony to the last dance. They were so professional, so involved and so fun. We had a daytime (early) wedding. It is so challenging to get people up and have a good time at 12:30 in the afternoon, I was having meltdowns about it, they reassured me but had the entire place up and having fun. You didn't know if it was day or night. They helped us more than the attendants at the venue. Over 100 guests said how amazing they were. The pictures they took could not be any better. Any other DJ who had packages like this (photo booth etc...) were THOUSANDS, yes THOUSANDS, more!!! I really hate to admit but I'm not easily pleased however I would put my name on the line for DJ Double E after how they made my wedding. DJ Double E exceeded all my and my husband's expectations and -consider yourself lucky if you hire them for any event. I'll be calling them again!!!”

“Tammy delivered hands down! She understood the assignment and everyone had a blast. The dj is one of the most important people at this type of an event and she took the time to listen to what we wanted and made it happen. Having access to her Dj app made the process very seamless. “Let’s start with “WOW!” We had a music festival themed wedding with four bands so music was a critical piece of our wedding weekend and the standards were high. We interviewed over 20 bands from the NYC area and decided to go with Vitamin M after really vibing with their band leader, JJ. And boy are we glad we did! JJ worked with us to curate the perfect performance for us and our guests. He was able to balance dance songs and classics alongside some custom requests that went off the beaten path of most traditional weddings from the likes of The Band, Talking Heads and The Clash. I knew in 2017 that one day I would get married and I wanted to recreate this wonderful feeling that I would get every Tuesday night. WELL, joke’s on me because I got that feeling and more. I do not even have words for the atmosphere that The Barnstorm created on our wedding day. Leading up to that day, Brooks was INCREDIBLY attentive to the hundreds of questions that I bombarded him with on a daily basis. He walked me through pricing, how the first dances would go, what kind of music gets played during dinner – every question came with an immediate follow up and a “how are you doing?” – completely above and beyond what a typical wedding band would provide. And that was before our wedding day even happened! The day of was indescribable. The atmosphere provided by The Barnstorm was absolutely electric and had every single person on the dance floor from 8 pm to 1130 pm. I genuinely feel like our wedding was one of the best concerts I have ever been to. The band is absolutely magnetic. To top it off about one week after our wedding, as we were reliving the day, I get a text message from a friend saying “we booked your wedding band!”. They are THAT freaking good. If you want to have the best night of your entire life PLEASE look no further than The Barnstorm.”
