Singer, pianist and ukulele player

A graduate from USC Thornton School of Music in Los Angeles, Johnny has studied and performed classical piano music for over 20 years. Since 2010, Johnny has provided music for more than 300 wedding ceremonies all over the country. With a set list of over 300 songs, Johnny can play and sing standards from Gershwin, Frank Sinatra, Stevie Wonder, and the Beatles. Adding live music will enhance and enliven your wedding ceremony, party or cocktail hour.

    Johnny was the highlight of our small backyard wedding! He’s an amazing performer and his skills on the ukulele are not to be missed. What we loved most was working with Johnny on the music for our ceremony and cocktail to strike the right tone, he even learned a song from the 1950s for our first dance. He’s so kind, thoughtful and creative! He’s such a joy to work with…book him right away!

    We hired Johnny for our wedding at the Water Witch June 5, 2021. Originally it was set for 2020 but... covid. He was amazing not only as a performer (seriously - he's great) but also a pleasure to work with professionally through the entire process. Don't hesitate - book him now before someone else does.

    We hired Johnny to play during our Ceremony and for cocktail hour. It was one of the best decisions we made for the day. His music (ukulele and vocals) during the ceremony was absolutely beautiful. He was on the keys for cocktail hour and entertained with some classics and big-band music (e.g. Frank Sinatra). Hearing that my wife was a big Disney fan during our vows, Johnny switched to a Disney playlist halfway through cocktail hour and it was a HIT! The true sign of an top-notch musician is someone who can read the audience and adapt on the fly. Weeks later, our guests still rave about Johnny and tell us we should have hired him to play longer. (We agree!) Johnny was the ultimate professional throughout the entire process, from planning to the day of. He had a meeting with us to go over our music preferences and work through the flow of the ceremony. I HIGHLY recommend Johnny for your special day - you'll be glad you do.

    We gave Johnny a complicated set of requests: perform 3 songs (singing, guitar, ukulele), but perform them with different family and friends we had selected for each song --who could only meet the wedding weekend. We needed him to arrange the songs and coordinate the rehearsals. We knew it was a lot. But Johnny’s modest confidence and professionalism earned him the respect of those we asked to perform with him, meant that the performers loved the rehearsals, and gave us an end result that was so much more than we expected. Johnny is a talented musician and arranger, and a strong leader. We are truly indebted to him for making our somewhat crazy musical vision come to life. We can't recommend him enough.
