We established our farm in 1981. Over the years, we have had the pleasure of providing our family and friends a beautiful scenic space for unforgettable celebrations. Valley Run Farm has hosted weddings, anniversaries, retirement parties, farm-themed birthdays, company and charitable events, and farm festivals. The Manor at Mountain View was the perfect find for the owners. The rustic feel with modern-day conveniences was a must. The Tavern (Groom's Tavern) has its original barn beams as this was at one time a bank barn. The rustic charm matches the rod iron chandeliers in the room leading to the tavern. In 2007 the former owners built an addition to the facility that speaks volumes, equipped with windows throughout to show off the amazing view... It really is breathtaking. Today the owners have renovated all the rooms in the building but, kept the rustic charm. Mark and Karlen have been restoring the farm for 19 years, one thing has been maintained as much as possible in its original form, the barn. The historic late 1800’s bank barn has many of the original board siding, only to be replaced in-like when needed. It boasts a very large 4 bay layout with the original chestnut flooring. The board siding allows the light to dance off the beautiful wood floors. It is a privilege for Mark and Karlen to invite you into their treasured barn and grounds.

Three Gables Barn offers country elegance amid rustic charm. Hand hewn beams, wide plank floors and limestone walls complement waving fields of hay, old growth trees, park like glades and views of Blue Mountain. Built in 1918, the Carlisle Ribbon Mill was a functioning ribbon mill until 1987. The building sat mostly empty until the MCcarren family bought the property in 2003. They spent the next few years bringing it back to life and 2006 started restoration on what is now the Carlisle Ribbon Mill Banquet Facility.

Our gardens and spring-fed pond offer a beautiful and natural backdrop for your wedding day ceremony and reception. With 10 acres of beautifully maintained grounds, weddings at Pheasant Field Bed and Breakfast are elegant, natural and stress free. The historic farmhouse and surrounding pastures at Pheasant Field Bed and Breakfast present a delightful location for weddings, receptions and events. Our stately brick home, stone barn and beautifully landscaped gardens create a lovely backdrop for your wedding day. Wedding ceremonies under the pergola by the pond are peaceful with only the sound of the fountain in the distance. For a more traditional ceremony, nuptials can be held at the arbor in our perennial garden where trees, fencing and flowers create an elegant setting. We host weddings for as few as 2 to as many as 300 guests. After your wedding ceremony & reception, indulge in our honeymoon suite, complete with a fireplace and whirlpool tub.

We are very proud of our farm; the charm of the treelined drive, the stone house, and the allure of photographs in front of the vintage car which has been in the family for generations. We are excited to meet you and delighted to help you plan your perfect day! From the spacious bridal suite upstairs to the mancave downstairs there's so much more to the stone built colonial house than just great photo ops! The old walnut tree at the ceremony site is a gorgous backdrop to your vows with the rolling countryside and farmland of Maryland completing the perfect setting. Then reserve a sweet spot on the patio or inside the house for cocktails before dinner is served in the spacious tent. Complete with hardwood floor, the tent can accomodate up to 275 guests comfortably, and still has space for a large dance floor.
