Valley Run Farm was an absolute dream venue for our wedding! From our very first tour to the big day, Lynn and the entire Yost family went above and beyond to ensure our vision came to life. Booking the venue for the entire weekend at such a reasonable price was a game-changer. It allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the day without worrying about setup and cleanup all at once. Plus, the venue provided a plethora of decorations like table runners, vases, and lanterns, which added to the charm of our day. Our wedding exceeded all expectations, and I can’t sing Valley Run Farm’s praises enough. Highly, highly recommend!

We booked a tour with Cold Saturday Farm on a whim, but holy cow am I glad that we did! We met with Brittany on a pretty dreary day in the winter, and even then I could see the beauty in the venue. It truly is a blank canvas that you can really make your own. Plus, the venue checked all the boxes that were super important to us: onsite getting ready spaces for both us, free onsite parking, guest tables and chairs included, and access to the venue all day. For the price, it was a great value. Brittany did end up leaving Cold Saturday, and we do wish that had been proactively communicated to us, but her replacement, Meredith, was fantastic, especially because she started the week before our wedding (I'm pretty sure we were her first wedding at the venue). But she was incredibly helpful and friendly--we actually had guests come up to us and tell us how awesome she was! The only other thing I wish we had known ahead of time was that the getting ready room the guys used didn't have any furniture. It was still being worked on during our tours, so we didn't actually see the room until the day of. So the room may have furniture at some point. Overall, we loved Cold Saturday Farm. It is truly a hidden gem (none of our vendors have ever worked there before but all of them said they loved it), so I really love that it was a pretty unique and beautiful place to have our wedding.

My husband and I decided to get married last-minute due to my mom's late cancer diagnosis and terminal prognosis. With only two months, our options for venues were very limited. Harmony Hall Estate quickly became the obvious choice! PROS: Their pricing package is flexible, with lots of options to tailor your experience to your budget. With great options for in-house catering and decorating, you'll save a lot of money and time on both. You can also pay an additional fee to bring in outside caterers. The food at our wedding came from Karen's Catering, their in-house caterer. We enjoyed our dishes at dinner and during cocktail hour. The pretzel cart absolutely hit the spot, though, and was a hit with our guests. Overall, I'd say the food was satisfying. The bar options, like the food packages, are quite flexible. We chose to prepay our bar tab for our guests, which allowed us to be open bar up to a certain price. We were able to add more to that tab via cash during the wedding. The venue itself is beautiful, with plenty of outdoor location choices for your ceremony. The location is convenient, with hotels nearby and shuttles that run you and your guests to and from the venue. The farmhouse to get ready in is gorgeous and historic, making it a wonderful location for pictures. There are plenty of places on the property for taking beautiful portraits with your partner and family. The ballroom is spacious, with flexible floor plans that Jill will work with you to design. You'll receive access to Aisle Planner when you book with Harmony Hall Estate, which is a nice online service to upload all of your wedding information. Included is a service to make your reception floor plan. CONS: I was told the key to the farmhouse would be placed in the lockbox, but couldn't find it morning of. None of the contacts at Harmony Hall answered when I called, and it took us nearly 45 minutes of searching to finally find the key in a mailbox. We lost a lot of valuable time to get ready, which created stress, and on top of that the farmhouse was so hot that my bridesmaids and I were sweating bullets while trying to do our hair and makeup. The temperature inside the building was in the mid and upper seventies, which was brutal with so many people and hot hair tools on. Additionally, while they have plenty of pricing options, I will say that their information package is somewhat confusing and rather lengthy. It could be tweaked to be more streamlined for the sake of clarity. The crab dip that we paid extra for during cocktail hour was disappointing. I don't recommend paying the upcharge for it, sadly. It's also good to keep in mind that you will pay the same price for a vendor's plate as you will one of your guests. This wasn't communicated to me until I asked, so I do recommend that the staff at Harmony Hall make sure their clients are aware of this. Our bartender, though kind, was unfamiliar with many of today's popular drinks and was rather slow, which was disappointing. OVERALL: Harmony Hall Estate is a great venue for a budget-friendly, beautiful wedding! I'd like to add as a disclaimer that our timeline for wedding planning was especially short, so some of the shortcomings when it comes to clarity/explanations of things may very well just be due to our rushed timeline. Since we are based in Kentucky, it made it harder to communicate effectively with Jill and the team at Harmony Hall.

The quality of their work and overall value was very nice - they even helped us out when our car broke down on the way to the venue, going above and beyond to make sure we arrived on time and stress-free. We had a great event at Heron's Hollow, and would highly recommend them to any couple looking for a beautiful, well-run wedding venue.

Milton Ridge was an incredible place to get married! The beauty of the venue and the inclusive wedding options (i.e. catering, DJ, etc.) made this the absolute perfect place to say, "I do!" The getting ready suites were superb & made the day of preparation before the ceremony seamless. The chapel was so beautiful and such a great little spot off the side of 355. Our guests still comment on the simplicity of how we decorated the chapel, and how beautiful the white walls and natural light streaming in were during the ceremony. I was not sure how we'd get group photos on the property... and our photographers were able to use the beautiful stone and green areas within the venue to capture the most beautiful photos of the bride, groom and the wedding party! Guests are still RAVING about how convenient it was to walk up a few stairs to the cocktail hour AND into the reception. They marveled at the ease... park your car, attend the ceremony and then stay and party all night long until it's time to leave! The reception hall was beautiful; the buffet food was to die for; and Meghan and Brandi ensured that EVERY detail of our wedding day was accounted for, seamless and flowing without any hitch! I cannot recommend Milton Ridge enough! Thank you for making our wedding day the most memorable and BEST day of our lives! We owe it to this team, this venue and their support with planning our wedding every step of the way!

The Manor at Mountain View was the perfect find for the owners. The rustic feel with modern-day conveniences was a must. But, what was also a must was to have a venue that the word beautiful could not even describe it but, yet to keep it affordable so that so many people could come and enjoy this spectacular piece of property. The Tavern (Groom's Tavern) has its original barn beams as this was at one time a bank barn. The rustic charm matches the rod iron chandeliers in the room leading to the tavern. In 2007 the former owners built an addition to the facility that speaks volumes, equipped with windows throughout to show off the amazing view... It really is breathtaking. Today the owners have renovated all the rooms in the building but, kept the rustic charm. It brings the family great joy to see so many people happy when they visit the property and to be able to share so many events with the individuals that rent the property is a joy that is indescribable.

I couldn't have picked a better place to get married. Everyone told me to expect at least one thing to go wrong on my wedding day. The only bad thing that happened was that it rained! (Obviously uncontrollable) however, the coordinators still made it perfect. The inside was set up perfectly. I only truly wanted our pictures outside. They literally followed me around with umbrellas and followed my bridesmaids around with hair dryers to dry our dresses and keep us looking our best all while they were getting wet! I received SO many compliments on my wedding. Multiple people during the days after said it was one of the best weddings they have ever attended!

From our tour to our big day, HA was different. We knew that the moment we arrived for our tour. I remember looking at my fiancé and beaming during our tour because, without even speaking, we both knew this was it—this was where we’d say “I Do.” The day couldn’t have been more magical. There’s so much stress in the planning process and the day of was the easiest part. My fiancés jacket ripped 20 minutes before the ceremony and one of my bridesmaids lost her bouquet. A sewing kit saved the day and the jacket was quickly fixed, and cocktail hour arrangement was repurposed into a bridesmaid bouquet 10 minutes before the ceremony. Zip tied and ribboned (which was identical to the others). I didn’t even have time to panic before a solution came along. Our Day of Coordinator, Kirsten was always calm, cool, and collected. I never once panicked. Never broke a sweat. Leah, the venue owner, was also there on our big day. Between the two of them, there was zero chance of the day being anything less than amazing. My wife always wanted a wedding, I always wanted to elope. I couldn’t be happier that I let her win that battle. Booking HA was the best decision we made throughout the process. I would do it a million times over. You will never regret booking at HA.

When I first arrived on the property to look at it, it was breathtaking so beautiful and so well kept, and obviously Lauren and Kara were so kind and sweet and so attentive to every single one of my requests and details. Fast-forward to wedding weekend, I had Kara and Lauren on speed dial if I needed anything and they were so helpful for any tiny request. I needed for my wedding party and family. The property is absolutely stunning. My wedding party and I stayed in the farmhouse the entire weekend from rehearsal dinner to a brunch on that Sunday and my friends, and I had the time of our lives. It was so accommodating to have family come from out of state. Be able to stay on the property in a nearby Airbnb that houses 20 people! I wasn’t worried about hotels, driving and transporting people or potentially having them drinking and driving. It was so nice to just be there the entire time. My friends and family have said that it was one of the best weddings that they have ever been to and I can concur that was the best wedding ever. I cannot recommend this place enough if you live in Maryland or nearby or somewhere on the East Coast or looking to do a destination wedding. This is your place to do it!!! I wish I could relive my wedding weekend. It was so magical and perfect and I could not have asked for anything more. Thank you Comus farms!

My husband and I got married at Cameron Estate Inn on 11/2/24, and we had the most magical day. The grounds and venue are beautiful. We were having a relatively large wedding and loved the idea of our family getting to stay at the Inn. We rented the entire Inn and had the whole place to ourselves for the day. Every staff member we encountered throughout the day of went above and beyond. Multiple guests have told me how nice all the staff were and that they had a wonderful time. Cathi was great to work with throughout wedding planning and even did some last minute magic to make sure it was the most beautiful space I could have ever imagined. Wish the sound system could be a little louder as we had a loud bunch for our guests, but that's a neighbor issue, not a Cameron Estate issue. We had such a blast and can't believe it's over!

My wedding was an absolute dream at JVW! Molly, the event manager, was amazing and helpful when I was planning my wedding. She was quick to respond and also helped talk through many things about the day so I could plan better. They set up the table and chairs for the reception, and advise you with your guest count how many tables are needed. I also told them how many chairs and they set all those up per table assignments so we did not have to do it while setting up other decor. They also set up all the other tables for you (food/DJ/welcome/cards&gifts), and steam all the linens. They do all the set up for the ceremony (chairs and if you use their arbor - decorations are yours to do). We booked for the weekend so we had overnight guests and stayed over night ourselves, the breakfast was delicious (complementary) and they provided snacks at the rooms which was great; I loved the snack choices and also some of them were made by the winery which I thought was a great touch! The venue is well managed (grass/landscaping was very nice) and there were always people there we could ask if we needed anything. They had people help park guests and golf cart service for some older family members. Finally, there was another wedding going on at the opposite end of the property and we were not bothered at all by their music or guests. One reason we chose to have our June wedding here was also due to the reception hall (Aisling Hall) being air conditioned. Our day was not too hot thankfully but the temp inside was perfect and the cake/cupcakes also held up due to this. It was a really great experience. The winery treated us, our guests, and our vendors with respect and made everyone feel welcome. As the bride, I felt there was plenty of communication with Molly, the order of events/questionnaire was very helpful (as well as the meetings I had with Molly), and I felt great when getting compliments about how gorgeous the venue was!!!

When we found this venue on Zola, we immediately wanted to view it. They were super quick to respond and were very informative of what to expect. They were upfront of cost and what was included. The scheduling was very streamlined. The day of coordinator, Erin was very helpful and wonderful. The food was absolutely out of this world! t is exactly one month since our daughter's wedding at the Oak Barn at Loyalty, and we are still on cloud nine! It was the first and best decision we made in planning the wedding. The beautiful mountain views and scenic property create magic for the wedding photos. "Stunning" is the word our guests used repeatedly. We were fortunate to have great weather and could really partake in all the amenities the Oak Barn offers. The lovely patio with twinkling strings lights can be used all day and evening. The covered patio area with the fireplace provided a respite for those looking for a quiet moment as did the upstairs balcony. And corn hole allowed some friendly competition! But the Barn itself is truly the show stopper. Even if it had rained, I wouldn't have worried because the inside space is easily convertible between ceremony and reception. A large wooden bar was added upstairs this year, and it was one of our guests favorite things. But the absolute best thing about booking with Oak Barn is Barb and Ernie. They are THE BEST! They truly want you to have the wedding of your dreams and they will do whatever they can to ensure you do. They know their venue inside and out and can offer suggestions on any topic. Their standards and expectations for vendors are high but the mutual respect we saw between both groups was clear. On the biggest day of your life, you couldn't be in better hands! And you leave the experience feeling like you have a second family. As a mom, this meant a great deal to me.

We can not speak highly enough of WCF and would recommend it to any friend or family getting married! Kim and Craig are the most gracious hosts and made us feel like family from the moment we met. The venue is absolutely stunning and offers so much more than any other venue we looked at. Kim and Craig have added so many unique touches that many other venues would make you pay extra for or bring in yourself. I love The Barn at Blackstone National! Their outdoor pavillion is a gorgeous setting for wedding ceremonies & cocktail hours, rain or shine! Camp Hidden Valley was the perfect venue for our wedding weekend! We were able to snag a June weekend for our wedding and it provided an incredible experience for us and our guests. The venue isn't too hard to find and as long as you communicate well with your guests the check in and check out our easy. There are multiple ceremony locations which is great since you never know what the weather in Maryland will do on a given weekend. The venue crew is easy to work with and were able to accommodate multiple pre-wedding day visits so we could get all of our ducks in a row. Extra shout out to Lindsay for being super on top of communications and overall a huge help!

​Heritage Restored is a farm that will give you the setting for your wedding or special event that evokes a sense of history, peaceful views, and plenty of space to utilize. The 57 acre property will give a deep breath of relaxation to your event and can accommodate over 200 guests. Mark and Karlen have been restoring the farm for 19 years, one thing has been maintained as much as possible in its original form, the barn. The historic late 1800’s bank barn has many of the original board siding, only to be replaced in-like when needed. It boasts a very large 4 bay layout with the original chestnut flooring. The board siding allows the light to dance off the beautiful wood floors. It is a privilege for Mark and Karlen to invite you into their treasured barn and grounds.

The historic farmhouse and surrounding pastures at Pheasant Field Bed and Breakfast present a delightful location for weddings, receptions and events.
