The building was originally constructed in the 1940's as a Chevrolet dealership and later became the Snow Tire Company. The building is now a production brewery and taproom with 5,500 square feet of picturesque, one-of-a-kind space. Our brewery offers a portfolio of artisanal craft beers that were designed to offer something for everyone. Our event space, located under our main facility, provides a private space and upscale atmosphere for your guests to connect and celebrate.

Carl House is an elegant, historic, Southern home, which was remodeled and in 2003 opened as an all occasion event venue. Home of the Athens YMCA from 1889 until 1919, the original building on this site became a music store, movie house, hotel, Masonic Temple, furniture company and Sears Roebuck store before being replaced by the Elite Theatre in 1935. Except for a brief period as a Methodist church, this theatre – later renamed the Georgia Theatre – has served as a significant performance venue for emerging and established musicians from Athens and beyond.
