Our story began in 1957 in the small west Texas town of Monahans. At Frosty’s local burger and ice cream shack, Carol Ann was enjoying an evening out with friends, when Sam, a young airman spotted her in the crowd; He leaned in and told his buddies, “I’m going to marry that girl”. Courting her through the family’s old screen door, their love story began…. lasting over 60 years. Gatherings of family and friends were the hallmark to Sam and Carol Ann’s life together. They enjoyed sharing their stories full of adventure, love and laughter….The Casa at Canyon Lake is a legacy to their love story. Dedicated in loving memory of Sam and Carol Ann, the family renovated the property in 2024, creating a wedding & event venue to continue building a lifetime of treasured memories.

The property also features dressing rooms and a prep kitchen, so you'll have everything you need for a flawless event. Outside vendors are welcome here, so you can customize your event to your liking.
