“Anthony is outstanding. What he creates is beyond anything you could have ever imagined. 100000% would recommend him time and time again. He is attentive and quick to respond to you. His attention to detail is beyond words. He was able to capture moments that my photographer could not. Honestly, I screen shotted some of his still frames from the teaser and sent those out to family. Where do I even start with the teaser, the highlight film, and feature film. I feel like no words can really do it justice to describe what he created. It's one thing to showcase the important moments of your wedding, but to do it in a way that you (as the bride) are jealous of the bride and groom in the video, that's crazy. I was jealous of my own wedding. Like he made us look famous... how the heck! Its wild. He also chose and edited the film in a way that was so unique compared to the other wedding films that he had created. It was perfect. I kept asking him, "how did you pick that song? how did you know that song encompassed our vibe?" He said the song was perfect for the atmosphere, he took the essence of the day and the vibe and energy from everyone and showcased it the best he could, as much he could, in that short 1 min teaser. Literally I was floored. I don't know how he captured so many intimate moments, it was like he was a ninja with the camera. And I don't know if you are self-conscious and anxious like me, but having a videographer that you are comfortable with, is everything. He hyped us up, made us feel confident, all while not being too in your face. Anthony is the best, his artwork will floor you, and he truly is the best investment of your wedding.”

“I will just start by saying that hiring the Franklin & Alison Music Band was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding on 5/18/24 at the Atrium of Tenafly! We received so many compliments from all the guests for the quality of the live band we had; and to our joy, the dance floor was always brimming with people. We happened upon the band’s website via The Knot’s suggested music provider list and absolutely loved their sample videos, songs, pictures, and testimonials. From the get go, Laraine was a pleasure to work with - always clear, on point with her answers, considerate, personable, and compassionate. We spoke at length via several phone calls and email exchanges about our history as a couple and our music preferences and then we met in person to go over all the details and narrow down the list of our favorite songs, She paid close attention to the pronunciation of names, nailed the parent dance song suggestions and the timing of the different reception activities. Then Laraine, Keith and the band did an amazing job at compiling an extremely successful playlist customized to our wedding. “As a classically trained chef, I hope my review of La Mila inspires anyone doing their “homework” to earn an A — for themselves, especially their guests. I’ve been to many weddings, and the food served is often an edible afterthought. How many times, when leaving a wedding, were you asked, “What did you think about the food?” — and you replied with shrugged shoulders, “Eh, it was okay.” That is not the case with La Mila. A huge shoutout and thank you to Sandy, who was able to pull together a phenomenal menu all in a very timely timeline. Sandy was honest, upfront, and available around our busy work schedule. The day before and the day of, Sandy was there to help with setup — from the big asks, like helping move furniture, to the small tasks—like lighting lanterns and ensuring no glass of champagne for our toast was served empty! Given our wedding took place at our home, we thoroughly appreciated Sandy staying late to clean the kitchen, empty overflowing garbage, and make sure our home was not a war zone when we woke up the next morning! Elie’s execution of our menu was stellar. As a classically trained chef, I was thoroughly impressed by the well-run machine Elie could create within our garage, the makeshift kitchen for the event. It rained on our wedding day, and we were blessed with a beautiful, vivid rainbow—right before dinner service. This blessing brought all our guests outside for 30 minutes—right before dinner. A major wrench in the moment-by-moment timeline. I know how this, for many chefs, can be a disruptive, unexpected delay—but Elie did not miss a beat. All of our guests raved about the food—notably friends who I graduated with from the Culinary Institute of America. One thing I learned in culinary school is that you “eat with your eyes first.” Simply put, Heidi’s presentation skills are on point! Her attention to detail in creating beautiful food displays, notably for our cocktail hour, showed the care, thought and love we wanted our guests to feel. Sandy, Elie, and Heidi may be the stars of La Mila’s show—but the success of our wedding would not have been possible without their hard-working and friendly staff. One of the elements that sold us on choosing La Mila, was their well-stocked arsenal of kitchen equipment they brought on site. (Most caterers require you rent equipment separately, which is not only more expensive, but introduces a whole new dimension of moving parts.) La Mila was also able to include chinaware, silverware, and the majority of our glassware! They even included soft drinks, water, condiments, cocktail napkins, etc. — all of this, and they still came in under what we were quoted by other caterers. Thank you, Sandy, Elie, Heidi, and the entire La Mila Catering & Events team, for making our wedding day what it was. Your talent, professionalism, and experience were felt by everyone who took part in our special day.”

“Avec L'Amour captured our wedding in June of 2023. We went with Avec L'Amour because we really liked the style and felt the prices were extremely reasonable compared to some of the other videographers out there. We went with the package that included the highlight film and the feature-length film. The audio on the feature-length film is a little tough to hear because of all the background noise, but we were outdoors and in front of a lake, so it’s understandable. While planning for our wedding, we worked directly with John. He had great energy and seemed very prepared every time we interacted with him. However, we never met John in-person because the day before our wedding, he reached out saying he could no longer make it and would be sending a replacement instead. This was understandably very stressful, but fortunately the replacement he sent was awesome. We would have liked to know this update earlier if possible, however we know that’s not always possible, and this was our only complaint in working with him. When John sent us the footage of our wedding, we were so happy with it with the exception of one place where the audio didn’t match up, one place where suddenly the video went purple, and the fact that one of our best man’s speeches was completely left out of the highlight reel; we brought these concerns to John, and he fixed them with no hesitation in a timely manner. Though we can’t review John’s videography or wedding day presence directly, we did have a good experience with his company and would recommend it!”

“Where do we begin! Nina and Will at Film and Frond helped ensure our NYC elopement went perfectly to plan, and we can’t thank them both enough for everything! Our photos are incredible and we will treasure them forever as perfect keepsakes of our special day in NYC. As we were travelling to NYC from overseas (Scotland) we were nervous about the logistics and the risk of the weather changing. In our two Zoom calls prior to our trip, Nina was so reassuring and we made sure to cover all bases incase of a change in schedule or rain. We love the photos which have been delivered, such a beautiful variety of shots in Dumbo, at Brooklyn Bridge, City Hall and in Soho. Opening our full gallery was like being back in New York, and took us right back to the magic of the day. Nina and Will, we cannot thank you enough not only for your insane photography skills but for being such fantastic people to spend our elopement with! “I had the most beautiful bouquet for my City Hall civil ceremony, but no firm plans for the bouquet post-wedding. My florist friend shared Jackie's contact information with me and I contacted her to see if she had the capacity for a last-minute bouquet preservation. Luckily, she had availability and a few hours later, I was taking an impromptu day trip to Cold Spring with my husband. Jackie met us at the station and was so incredibly kind. She gave us a few suggestions of eateries to check out while we were in town. We had a symbolic ceremony a week later and I was so pleased with the service received with my first bouquet, that I asked Jackie to preserve that bouquet as well. Throughout both bouquet preservations, Jackie was very responsive and answered any questions I had. She shared a layout of both bouquets prior to framing and packaged up both frames nicely, with bags, (this is a big deal when you're taking the train) when we returned to Cold Spring for pickup. “Stanley was truly the MOST communicative vendor we worked with throughout this process, from the moment we inquired, to the moment we got our sneak peeks. I always heard back from him usually within minutes (sometimes seconds!), but never longer than an hour or two. I always see the horror stories about brides not receiving their photos or not hearing back, but I never had to worry about that with Stanley. We also got our one minute teaser and about 60(!) sneak peek photos less than 24 hours after our wedding was over (about 1 pm the following day!). I could not believe the speed and they are SO good! His style and Allie’s style is so beautiful and it’s truly bringing our day to life so we will always have physical memories to look back on. Day of, Allie (our main photographer) and Stanley (video) arrived early and got drone shots of the venue and were quick to get to work when they found me in the bridal suite. I had so many photo requests for family photos and they worked fast (despite there being a lot of chatter), and got it all done so quickly. The second shooter (Ryan) was also amazing and had a fun time with my husband and his groomsmen. He also was great at getting shots of some of our family members without us (i.e. my parents, my sister and her family, groom’s parents) so we could be as productive as possible and have family photos, too! We decided to keep them an extra hour (9 hours instead of 8 ) and Stanley came to us about 30 minutes before the end of their service to check since we still had some things in the schedule we hadn’t gotten to yet and had offered and shared the cost to do so. We decided it was worth it and got so many more amazing photos. I cannot wait to see the full album in 8-12 weeks! And I will recommend Stanley and Allie to everyone in the meantime because everyone deserves to have their day captured as beautifully as they did for us!”

“I looked forward to every Tuesday night when my friends and I would gather at Brother Jimmy’s Murray Hill to watch The Barnstorm and dance until we couldn’t feel our feet. I knew in 2017 that one day I would get married and I wanted to recreate this wonderful feeling that I would get every Tuesday night. WELL, joke’s on me because I got that feeling and more. I do not even have words for the atmosphere that The Barnstorm created on our wedding day. Leading up to that day, Brooks was INCREDIBLY attentive to the hundreds of questions that I bombarded him with on a daily basis. He walked me through pricing, how the first dances would go, what kind of music gets played during dinner – every question came with an immediate follow up and a “how are you doing?” – completely above and beyond what a typical wedding band would provide. And that was before our wedding day even happened! The day of was indescribable. The atmosphere provided by The Barnstorm was absolutely electric and had every single person on the dance floor from 8 pm to 1130 pm.
