Arcadia did an amazing job with our late April wedding!! Liliya was very responsive throughout, from the time we were researching vendors through the planning process and after our wedding. Our videographer Artem was kind and comprehensive - captured all of the sweetest moments we didn’t even realize were happening. The editing team worked quickly and produced a beautiful product. We have watched our videos many times already and still getting the feels. What a perfect commemoration of our wedding day and we love having the videos to look back on this magical day.

Mark was hands down THE best part of our wedding! He was so helpful during the whole planning process. Any questions we had he gave us the best advice. He doubles down as a “Day of Coordinator” as well, making sure the timeline is down to a tee. The lights he set up in our reception was like nothing I’ve seen at any other wedding. He even had us throw down on the turntable and it was such a fun and unique moment that everyone loved!! It really was electric during party time! Mark is also so friendly and personable. We had the absolute best experiene with Westfields Golf Club and working with Ashley! She made the whole process so smooth and was always so quick to get back to us! Ashley was happy to answer any question we had and the venue was extremely flexible with our vision and wants. Ashley and Fatima made sure that the entire night ran smoothly and we had the best night of our lives! The grounds and the venue made the perfect backdrop for all our wedding photos. If you are considering booking Westfields Golf Club for your wedding, do it! You will not regret the decision.

We hired Love, Lomax as our wedding photographer which included an engagement shoot, and were BLOWN AWAY with her work! From the start Karisa was very easy to work with and is an incredibly kind, caring person. A photographer captures really intimate moments, and my husband and I felt so comfortable with her. She did a great job coaching us through the poses and went to a variety of locations to make sure we got all the shots. Specifically for the wedding, she was incredibly organized by sending us a wedding questionnaire and creating a very detailed timeline, making sure she knew all the important photos we wanted to get. On my wedding day, she felt like one of my friends and was hyping my husband and I up all day. She was super respectful of our time and made sure we got photos efficiently so we could enjoy as much time with our family and friends. Regarding her work, she is an AMAZING photographer. We got so many compliments on our engagement and wedding photos, many people saying they look like they could have been in a magazine. All of my friends and family that interacted with Karisa on our wedding day spoke so highly of her and said we made the right decision hiring her. I cannot recommend Love, Lomax enough!!

She spent so much time getting to know us before the wedding, and our photos very clearly reflect her attention to capturing what was important to us. We really wanted to see the joy and breadth of emotions of the day and wanted photos that reflected our wedding as vibrant and loving, and that shines through in every photo!! Kelly is also so personable and brings such a wonderful energy to all parts of the process which made us feel so comfortable and so happy to have her with us! In addition to creating a photography schedule that was invaluable and that we shaped the rest of the schedule around, she made sure to note people’s accessibility needs and to work with us closely on comfort for everyone as we had a lot of access needs. She answered every question we had happily and was just such a wonderful part of our day!! She also did our engagement photos at Great Falls and they turned out just so gorgeous. WOW! Kiley absolutely blew me away with the look she was able to achieve for my wedding. As a no-makeup girlie, I was quite nervous to wear any on the big day and not feel like myself. Her consultation process is extensive because her attention to detail on every wish you want is spot-on. I told her I wanted a bit of pop of color possibly on my lips but overall just wanted to enhance my beauty with soft pink tones. I highly, highly recommend doing the trial session first because it helped us realize what colors looked good on me and how much makeup I actually wanted on. She is an expert at applying individual fake lashes which 1) helped me not bleed mascara down my face when I cried and 2) looked stunning without looking unnatural! After the trial, I emailed her some of my thoughts and she executed my vision perfectly on the actual day. She also made my mother and maid of honor look absolutely gorgeous; we all felt so confident and beautiful all day long! Most of all, she was just such a sweet presence the day-of and the whole planning process. I am so incredibly appreciative of Kiley's artistic gift and cannot recommend her enough!!!

We hired Meghan Farrar as our day of coordinator for our April wedding at Rust Manor and would highly recommend couples hire her. From the very start, Meghan made us feel like we were her only clients. Her attention to detail was impeccable, and her organization skills were truly next level. Meghan was an organized, kind, reassuring voice for us while planning the wedding. She was also the only coordinator to let us know Virginia’s residency requirement regarding officiants. Meghan was super familiar with Rust Manor. In the countdown to our wedding, Meghan checked in to make sure things were going well, answer any questions we have, and organize us for the walkthrough. Though we hired Meghan primarily for the day of our wedding, she was available to us throughout the planning process. In the month run up to our wedding, Meghan greatly assisted us in organizing the little details of the day and coordinating with our vendors, many of whom had worked previously with her and were excited to work with her again. Prior to our wedding, Meghan coordinated with our various POCs for vendors and the venue, making sure they knew who to reach out to on the day of our wedding and the timing of the day. Additionally, Meghan helped us through some last minute changes due to unexpected events. She was incredibly accommodating and reassuring. On the day of our wedding, Meghan was everything we needed her to be and more. She managed to keep us on schedule, comfortable, and immensely helped our stress. Her kind words and warm personality shined throughout the day and made our wedding day all the more special. We would recommend Meghan for any future wedding. The Atrium is perfectly nestled within Meadowlark Botanical Gardens and overlooks 95 acres of lush gardens, green hills, and perfectly manicured landscape. Voted as one of the premiere wedding venues in the Greater Washington area, The Atrium can accommodate up to 230 seated guests for a wedding reception and up to 300 standing guests.

As soon as we took a tour of the Atrium, we knew this was the perfect spot to get married. The gardens are beautiful, and the inside the building the glass walls, plants, and little river give an airy and natural feel. I didn't worry about rain because you feel like you're outside even when you're in. When guests got too hot on the dance floor, they could go out and socialize on the patio overlooking the gardens in the cool night air. Given the meal prices for comparable venues, this venue is GREAT VALUE!! The food was great and the guests were happy. There were a couple small things that might be helpful to share, though. Our point of contact changed several times in the span of our engagement and there was sometimes a delay in communication. Also, the venue was marketed as a capacity of 200 people but it is better suited to weddings of 160-180 guests. When you go over 180, you have to choose some guests to seat in a room that feels divided by the little stream which is awkward. Also, there is no space for getting ready so brides and bridesmaids have to get ready off-site. Overall, I was overjoyed with having my wedding day here and I think for the price we still had an incredible experience. I don't regret it at all!!

If I could give Stefan ten stars, I would. Working with him was an incredible experience from start to finish. He did our engagement photos and our wedding photos and for the former he traveled to New York so we could do the shoot at a location that has a great deal of meaning to us. My husband and I are not people who are usually comfortable in front of a camera, but Stefan goes above and beyond to make sure he is prepared and that you are prepared to have the best shoot possible. He has detailed guides for both engagement and wedding shoots, which were incredibly helpful. He also meets with you to discuss your goals for the shoot, get to know who you are as a couple, and understand the vibe you are going for. Our engagement shoot was on a cold and windy day in a location unfamiliar to him and he did research, arrived early, and knocked it out of the park. For our wedding day, the timeline went exactly to plan and any stress or nerves I was feeling completely melted away because we already knew Stefan was on top of it, knew what we wanted from the day, and that we had a rapport going between us. On our wedding day, our friends and family absolutely gushed about Stefan and how great he is. I can't tell you how many times someone came up to me and said, "Who is your photographer? He is AWESOME." Stefan's style is authentic and he is incredibly skilled. The photos are breathtaking without seeming unnatural or overworked. He is great at capturing your vibe as a couple and making sure that comes through in the photos. He is so easy to get along with and can make even the least photogenic among us (pointing at myself here) comfortable in front of the camera. He is a great photographer and an even more delightful human being and I would recommend him to absolutely anyone.

If you are searching for somewhere to have the perfect outdoor wedding, look no further than Comus Farm. Lauren and Kara truly pulled out all the stops to make our wedding day unforgettable! In 2023, my husband and I were looking for wedding venues: we were very specifically looking for someplace that would not require a lot of decoration work, since we were planning the whole event ourselves. As soon as my husband and I arrived at Comus Farm, I said “this is it, I want to book this place.” The farm is located in pleasant countryside, and the farm itself has a very beautiful entrance through trees and sunny fields: many of our guests commented on how this made the drive from the off-site ceremony to the reception at the farm very enjoyable. We toured the rose garden, outdoor dining and dancing pavilions, and the large barn, all of which are airy and open, making it feel very welcoming. The farmhouse Airbnb was spacious, clean, and well decorated. Lauren and Kara were both so kind, and they provided a lot of information with us in our first meeting: we signed the contract about a week after seeing the place. Lauren and Kara used AislePlanner to help us get going with our wedding planning. The website is easy to use, and the provided checklist covered literally every single tiny detail you could possibly need to consider for the planning journey. I was especially pleased with the seating chart map, it made it so easy for us to track guest meals, stage table set up, and communicate special requests. It also prints out the layout really nicely if you need to send it to your catering company. Our wedding party stayed at the farmhouse Airbnb the night before and after the wedding. Everyone had a really fantastic time, there was more than enough space for the girls to get ready in the AM, and the food provided was delicious! During the reception, my grandparents enjoyed their dinner in the kitchen so they could get some quiet time and rest, but they were still close enough to the wedding so they could say hello to the guests and listen to the speeches happening in the dinner pavilion. I also cannot say enough about how much we appreciated Lauren and Kara’s thoughtfulness throughout the planning process and on the day. They patiently answered so many of our questions, and they allowed us to come by three separate times to see the farm and meet with our vendors. They coordinated the vendors without a hitch, and we didn’t have to worry about a single thing on the day of the wedding. Kara drove the two of us and our photographer out to more remote areas on the farm to get some portrait shots. Lauren coordinated some fun photos with the alpacas, which was a lot of fun! Comus Farm is truly a beautiful spot to have a wedding, complete with a team that made our day perfectly stress-free. I’ll definitely be looking for any other reason to book with them in the future :)

Vendors will send out contracts to Amaka, and she in return will send contracts to the vendors to sign on our behalf so it made us feel very comfortable with booking the recommended vendors. We would virtually meet on Zoom once a month, but her secret weapon is a web portal that has everything you need to reference from customized timelines, budgeting, photo boards, vendors/contact info, & so much more! It also makes it very convenient to communicate through there. Instead of many emails or text chains about allllll the topics that will arise, you can post thoughts, questions, pictures, links, documents, & more. It will notify Veronica by email that you put something in Aisle Planner & she can read/respond & will get back to you within 24hrs. So although I did the 'virtual' package I never felt like I was alone or like Veronica wasn't there to help (she even video chatted with me at the final venue walkthrough 30 days before the wedding!) Even if you think you don't need help or it's not worth it, I promise that when your mental sanity is dwindling, especially towards the end with everything going on, you will be SOO happy you chose Veronica for either in-person or virtual wedding planning!

Penderview Events truly went above and beyond to make our day PERFECT. As a DIY and meticulous bride, we knew Anna was the one we would entrust with our vision the moment we had our phone consultation; she was so incredibly sweet and enthusiastic about our big day, and I immediately felt a sense of ease that she will be able to handle all the shenanigans and i can pass her the torch with ease. Although she was hired for "day of", she assisted us in any way possible months leading to and made sure we were on top of all the important tasks leading up to the day of (i.e. vendors contact info, finalizing timeline for the morning/day of, etc.). My big day unfortunately started off disastrous (I became car sick), so I was unable to give guidance with the decor during set up. But since one of the tasks Anna asked me weeks prior was for a list with all the decor and how/where I wanted them placed, Penderview legit made my vision come true!!!!!!!! Penderview was so attentive, that they were even able to place some items which I gave no instructions for (i.e. last minute decided that we wanted wedding party to sit during the ceremony, so I made name placement cards for the reserved chairs, and without mentioning it, they were placed on the chairs in processional order). Penderview was able to execute every event and details on the timeline FLAWLESSLY, and I was able to enjoy the event with ease knowing that everything was in such capable hands. We felt and saw how invested Penderview was throughout the day in making it perfect for us, especially the attention to details and handling all the logistics smoothly behind-the-scenes. I also really appreciated Anna’s assertiveness when hiccups would arise (ie, making sure guests wouldnt be walking in while were ready down the aisle/stay out of view, wedding party prioritized drinking and forgot to come back for portraits; flower girls kept running infront of camera during portraits, and so many other headaches i did not want to deal with, etc.) Not only was Anna able to accomplish and execute my vision beyond expectations, but she was also my emotional support and my right-hand lady, making sure I was always hydrated. Anna’s empathetic and kind demeanor made her feel more like a close friend than just a ‘day of coordinator’. Hiring Penderview was the best investment we made. Thank you so much for making our day magical and we will forever be grateful to Penderview!!!

Madison studied theatre at Virginia Tech with a capstone in event design. She has been in the Washington, DC wedding industry for six years starting as an intern and working her way up to owning her own business. She has produced weddings at a variety of DC/VA/MD venues, been seen in Washingtonian magazine, been a guest speaker at her alma mater, and leads her own team of wedding planners.

Madison and Paige helped mainly with our wedding ceremony and they were fabulous. Their communication skills made us very comfortable while we did not know where to go with the wedding planning. They were always on time for every meeting and well prepared. My officiant has done so many weddings. He complimented after the wedding rehearsal about how smooth it went and told us it was the best one and well structured. They were also very knowledgeable about what they do and had all the answers to our questions. You will know there are countless decisions that has to be made during the preparation process, and they always made it simple for us. You could tell they were experienced individuals by working with them. We enjoyed their help a lot and we would highly recommend them if anybody is looking for a wedding planner!
