We had our Welcome Dinner here the night before our wedding, since all of us were from out of town. Perfect location, right next to a coffee shop. While we were decorating, we were able to get some coffee. Then we took a stroll through town once decorating was done. Venue is very cozy, and everyone at Tembo hospitality is great to work with. Highly recommend utilizing this venue for your events!

My husband and I got married at Timber Hall at the end of June and had a wonderful experience! Cheri was communicative, helpful, and very reassuring when it comes to the planning process. She was incredible helpful by answering questions and giving suggestions for vendors along the way! The venue is absolutely beautiful and has a dreamy outdoor space for the couple's first dance and parent dances. The ceremony was so memorable with the long walk-way and the unique ceremony site, our guests kept complimenting it all night! Our pictures turned out amazing with the mountain views in the background! We loved everything about Timber Hall and couldn't have asked for a better venue! We highly recommend this venue for someone who is looking for a beautiful outdoor wedding in the mountains!

From the moment we started working with Emma at Castle Ladyhawke, we were impressed by their quick, efficient, and warm communication style. The venue itself was absolutely beautiful, with an authentic, charming feeling that made our wedding day feel truly special. The food was fantastic and despite complications it was a beautiful and magical day. While our initial coordinator, Emma, was great to work with over the 8 months leading up to the wedding, we were disappointed to learn upon arrival that she would not be there on the day. Her replacement, Kelsie, arrived late, did not have our updated documents, failed to communicate with the vendors that there was a space for them on the third floor, and seemed to lack the positive energy and personal responsibility we had come to expect. There were also a few small hiccups, like the arch being set up incorrectly initially. But overall, we had a wonderful, memorable day for us and our guests.

The Parker Mill is the absolute perfect venue! The views are spectacular and the services offered made our day so much easier to plan. At every step in our planning process Alexis and Brock were so kind and accommodating with addressing any concerns or questions we had. Everything about our day was beautiful, everything ran smoothly and the spaces the Parker Mill provided were perfect for our needs. If you are considering the Parker mill at all go on a tour! While Emerald Ridge is an extraordinary venue, it wasn’t the venue that won us over. The owners, Janice & Paul, were the reason we decided we wanted to have our wedding there. Janice was our first point of contact and couldn’t have been more communicative, authentic, personable, and accommodating. They allowed us to take our engagement photos there after touring the property. Paul drove us around on his golf cart and happily answered all of our questions and put us at ease. We hired Malorie as our “month of” wedding coordinator and we’re extremely pleased that we did! She’s clearly an expert when it comes to the property and the wedding planning/execution process. On the day of our wedding she went above and beyond to make us feel as special and comfortable as possible! Mason and Taylor were also extremely accommodating and hard working. The entire staff was incredibly genuine and kind to us and our guests. We highly recommend booking the “No Stress Wedding Weekend” package and adding Thursday night to get the full experience of feeling right at home. Emerald Ridge has a vast inventory of decorations which allowed us to travel lightly from out of town. Emerald Ridge has a focus on keeping their property naturally beautiful and respecting the environment, which we very much appreciated. We truly could not have asked for a better wedding experience! We had our reception at Trailside this past Fall of 2023. The day of, everything went perfectly. We were given ample time to set up, freedom to move around in the space, and ability to utilize it as we saw fit. The venue usually has live music, but they booked an acoustic band, which set up in the main dining area of the brewery. Our reception was able to play its own music, from speakers we brought, and not feel impacted from the live music going on for the rest of the patrons. Our event did not co-mingle too much with the general public; however there was a couple people that drifted in and we politely asked them to leave. As stated above, our overall day of was all we could have wanted and more. The days leading up to our reception were very stressful due to renovations that weren't quite ready for our event. Since we were the first party in this space, we had to bare the growing pains, which Trailside tried to accommodate for as much as possible. I believe since we were the "test" party, this team will grow from the experience. All in all, our reception day was all we could have wanted and more, so when it came down to the wire, the team delivered.

The Main Event was the perfect venue for our wedding welcome reception. From the start, their communication was quick, helpful, and full of great suggestions. We loved the front space they provided for our welcome party - it had such a warm, inviting feel. We had about 80 people and it was perfect! The staff, especially Sara, was amazing and so helpful with every aspect of planning and coordinating our special day. They suggested wonderful caterers and their bar staff was fantastic. The setup was quick and easy, and they made us feel right at home and at ease throughout the entire process. For a small or big event, this is the venue you want to be at. The parking lot, A/V capabilities, and private photo room were an added bonus that really made our day run smoothly. We can't thank Sara and her team enough for helping to make our wedding so memorable.

With just a short drive to the parkway for those mountain photos, you can’t beat the location! All our decor was provided by the venue, as well as the tables and chairs. This venue really had it all! We loved getting ready on the bridal suite. This house has been perfectly decorated to be warm and inviting. Miss Patricia kindly reached out to follow up with us regarding our wedding shortly after it was hosted. This was so touching, and really meant a lot to us. Our wedding venue at The Vieux is very versatile. You can choose to get married in front of the mountains up by the gazebo and outside chapel, on the balcony of The Vieux in front of Mt. Le Conte (if it's a small wedding party), in the back yard of The Vieux surrounded by the trees or inside in front of the floor to ceiling stone fireplace. Wherever you choose, your wedding will be unique and just as you choose it to be. We don't charge an exorbitant amount for our venue because we want you to be able to afford to stay at The Vieux and have your wedding all rolled into one at a great price. Some choose to do everything DIY while others choose to have a wedding coordinator, catered food and decorators come to prepare everything for them. This venue was an answer to prayer, the perfect place to have my smaller wedding with a rustic family gathering vibe. The Vieux doubles as an Airbnb and wedding venue, which was the ideal space for my wedding since my family was from out of town. Knowing that I was paying one price for lodging for my family and a wedding venue all in one was a major source of peace of mind. It was so wonderful not worrying about having to book two different venues for the ceremony and reception! Not to mention how beautiful both the cabin and grounds are! We were going to have our ceremony on top of the mountain with the mountain views in the background but the uncertainty of the weather influenced our decision to have it down at the cabin instead. We did take our couple portraits at the top of the mountain with the views though! The Vieux has so many options - inside and outside - for both ceremony and reception locations (if weather doesn't look like it will cooperate!) Having those options was amazing, as well as the host's communication, responsiveness and willingness to help at every step of the process - also an answer to prayer. Kathryn was a phenomenal host and I highly recommend her and her venue! She helped us so much, kept in constant communication whenever I had questions or needed any kind of help. It all culminated in the most beautiful and special day that my husband and I could imagine. We will always look back on our wedding with the sweetest memories - all made possible by Kathryn and The Vieux. It truly did feel like our home away from home!
