Wind in the Willows is a space of country charm and modern elegance. The stone barn is heated and air conditioned to allow for use year-round, and provides beautiful views of the well-maintained grounds. The property also has a cottage and bridal suite for the wedding party to prepare before the wedding day begins. The gorgeous outdoor scenery provides the perfect backdrop for outdoor ceremonies. Indoor ceremonies can be held at the Wedding Chapel, a mid 19th century church - renovated and temperature controlled. The chapel is also available for receptions.

Designed in the 1890s, our beautiful historic building located on the University of Pennsylvania’s campus is one of Philadelphia’s premier unique venues. Here at Pleasant View Farm we do weddings a bit different than some venues. Here you get a wedding weekend and a B&B experience! After all we are a bed and breakfast inn. The property is yours for 3 days. The day before your wedding to set up and decorate just how you like and then time for your rehearsal. We ask that everything is cleared up and out the day after your wedding by 3PM. This allows you your wedding day to enjoy and get ready and have fun with your family and friends. Included in the wedding weekend are 3 outdoor ceremony sites, 2 barns one for your reception and one for in case your outdoor ceremony needs to move indoor, 2 patios for cocktail hour, tables and chairs, and our guest cottage with overnight accommodations for 6 guests for both nights plus breakfast. The NSCDA/PA owns its Headquarters House located at 1630 Latimer Street in Philadelphia. Built by and for the Dames under the leadership of Mrs. James Starr, Jr., the house has served as the Dames home since its completion in 1923. The building was designed by the Philadelphia Architectural firm Ritter and Shay. Marion Coffin, one of the first female landscape architects, was instrumental in desgining the garden which is a four seasons delight to all who use the house. Headquarters is the setting for Philadelphia Stated Meetings, the meetings of the Board of Managers and its Committees, and for the Society's Annual meeting. The archives of the Society, including lineage papers of our members, both living and deceased, are housed here as well. Headquarters is also available to the general public to rent for weddings and events.
