The Oliver Building Event Space encompasses 3 floors of a lovingly restored 1880s building in Kansas City's Historic West bottoms. With over 20,000 sqft the Oliver is perfect for everything from an intimate, romantic wedding, a throwdown party or corporate trade shows and seminars. Countryside Chalet provides a beautiful setting on nearly 10 acres. Our venue includes an estate house with six bedrooms and five full bathrooms, an event pavilion accommodating over 200 guests, a multi-level landscaped outdoor ceremony site and a secret garden offering relaxing gathering areas. These spaces are located behind thick trees nearly ¼ mile off of the paved county road providing a uniquely private setting. Countryside Chalet was created as a property rental venue allowing you maximum flexibility to bring your own vendors and to create your dream event.

Our venue offers an all wood Amish barn, tucked back in the trees, next to Emma creek. The numerous mature trees, multiple flower beds and 2 fire pits offer a wonderful outdoor atmosphere! The barn features a kitchen, a bar, men’s and women’s restrooms, a loft, a covered deck and a large area for dining and dancing. The barn can hold up to 200 people and has the option for an indoor ceremony, should the need arise. The outdoor space features a limestone stage for a ceremony, plenty of space for yard games, an outdoor dinner, outdoor dancing or hanging out by the fire pits. The outdoor party lighting provides a great atmosphere after dark. We have two parking areas, 1 large lot for guests and a smaller area for the wedding party and handicap parking.  Included in all packages: Chairs and tables for 200 people, bar stools, cocktail tables, wooden spools, arbors and use of the fire pits. We recently added a beautiful 3 bedroom log cabin available with our wedding packages!

Welcome to Cedar View Venue! We are a 3,800sq. ft. venue space with an attached 1,400 sq. ft. living quarters. Our venue offers rentals for one day, or a package deal for the weekend Friday-Sunday. We have chairs and tables to accommodate 200 guests indoors plus the wedding party as well as an additional 50 guests outside. The venue includes the living quarters for the day of the wedding, as well as options for overnight lodging included in wedding packages. The wedding venue will include a ceremony space outside by the pond. This is the perfect rustic wedding venue at an affordable price.
