The idea was conceived in the Grand Cayman Islands over cold beer and jerk chicken. One man’s love for delicious, wood-fired chicken and the game of pickleball led to the 2016 founding of Chicken N Pickle’s flagship location in Kansas City and has quickly developed into a wildly popular destination for food and fun in other markets.

A hidden gem in the heart of Wichita, Odd Fellow Hall has recently undergone a full renovation, proudly adding to the the movement of restoring one of Wichita’s most historic neighborhoods, the Delano district. Odd Fellow Hall was originally the meeting place of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows from 1911 until the 1980s. The space has now been re-imagined as another type of meeting place – a juxtapose vision of it’s historic bones, mixed with its contemporary finishes. We have expanded upon the tradition of gathering and hospitality by creating the perfect atmosphere for your next event. With a full chef’s kitchen, swanky bar, a state of the art audio and video system, Odd Fellow Hall is the perfect venue for your next social gathering.

Our event space is classically decorated with a timeless, European folk-tale inspired motif that reaches from floor to our beautiful 16 foot ceilings. The rustic full-wall windows let in gorgeous floods of sunlight by day and romantic views of the city by night. We would love to help host your event and perfectly curate your special day. Our space can seat up to 45 guests plus additional outdoor and side room accommodations if needed. Event Rentals start at $600 for a three hour rental. Our in-house catering menu is available for events and includes crepe bars, charcuterie options, bartending and more. The Pilgrim Center and its predecessor have been building community in midtown, Kansas City, Missouri for nearly 50 years. In the late-1960’s, a group of involved neighborhood leaders first gathered in Westport to address the issues of violence and crime that were overtaking their historic neighborhood. Out of their discussions, the Westport Allen Center was born, and two young seminarians, Roger and Liz Coleman, were invited to lead this organization. The Westport Allen Center purchased a building and began offering the space free to groups interested in improving the community. Before long, the first Free Clinic in the area opened, rehearsal space was provided for what would become the Kansas City Ballet, the Allen Edison school was founded, and affordable housing for seniors created in the neighborhood. Making childcare, education, healthcare, senior living, and arts programming available to the area were big steps in rebuilding a healthier community for Westport.
